•Vylad's POV•

"We have searched everywhere, from Phoenix Drop to the town of O'Khasis, but no sign of Terry Velcrum or this Phoebe you told me."

"We have to try Officer. Our daughter was kidnapped."

"I will try to do what I can, but I'm sorry to say this Vylad. They pretty much cover all their clues into leading them. It's impossible to find them now."

"We have to try at least, Please Officer Jungkook. My wife has been isolated from anyone for a week! This case has been going on for a week!"

"Vylad I may need you to please calm down. We'll try and find your daughter. We'll update that to you."

I ended the call and placed down my phone while I gripped onto my hair in frustration.

"Still on going?" Katelyn asks as she placed down a Cup of tea in front of me and sat down beside me.

"Yes...." I said in a shaky breath.

"They'll find her...." Travis said.

"If only they can go deeper into the investigation. You know sniff out any clues or something." Garroth said.

My eyes then snapped open. I turned to Garroth. "What did you say?"

"I said that if only they could go deeper into the investigation?"

"No after that!"

"Sniff out some clues?"

Everyone silent for a moment before realization struck them. "Sniff, werewolves! That's how they can find where Maya is! It's right under our noses." I exclaimed.

"Literally." Said Katelyn.

I quickly get to my phone and dialed Officer Jungkook's number.

"Vylad? I told you that I'll update you if we find anything."

"Jungkook, we think we can help you."

"We? Vylad What are you saying?"

"What I'm saying is that we have some canine enforcements on their way to help us."

•YOUR POV•

I held onto Maya's doll tightly in my hands. This was her favorite doll. It was just a teddy bear, black but has a red printed heart on it's chest.

I cried silently, remembering the small but happy times I had with her.

Please Irene, give me back my daughter....

I then heard quick footsteps running up the stairs and the door opened.
Vylad came in and kneeled down in front of me.

"Honey...." he placed the palms of his hand on my cheek as he wiped my tears away.
"We have a plan in finding Maya."

I let out a sob and shake my head. "I-it's over v-v-vylad...."

This time Vylad shakes his head. "No it's not. Come on honey, you're stronger than this. You got to be strong. For Maya."

I let out a shaky breath and sulk even more.
I heard Vylad sighed before I felt myself being lifted up in the air.

"Come on Babe, we are finding Maya right now."

"Vylad! T-this is ridiculous..."

"No it's not, cause we got some werewolves by our side."

~Time Skip~

We are outside the house where there were some officers, including Officer Jungkook.

But there were also werewolves that we knew dearly.

"Rylan, Dottie, Daniel, Blaze..." I said.

The 4 werewolves came to me and gave me a cuddling hug.

"Ohh (Y/n) we're so sorry on what happened." Dottie Said.

"Which is why we're here to help." Blaze said.

I then realized what they meant so pulled back from the hug. "O-of course...you guys are werewolves...a-and you'll b-be able to track M-Maya down!"
I hugged them again with a smile on my face for the first time.
"Thank you guys!"

"Don't Thank us, Vylad came up with the idea." Daniel Said.

I pulled away and faced Vylad. I ran up to him and gave him a hug. "Thank you Vylad...."

"I'll do anything to see you happy and have our daughter back with us safe and sound."

"Now we just need something for us to track Maya." Daniel said.

I look down at the bear I was holding and hold it up to the 4. They sniffed it for a second and quickly turned to the same direction.

"You guys better get to your cars, cause we run fast." Blaze said.

I nodded and everyone start getting in their vehicles. With the police too.

I gave the teddy bear to Dottie and got into my car with Vylad, Travis and Katelyn.

The 4 werewolves starts running and we quickly follow behind.
We were driving quite a while, from out of town into the middle of no where.

The werewolves kept running and Vylad suddenly stopped the car as the werewolves stopped.

We all got out of the car and walk up to them.
"This is only how far we can drive, no more road." Said Vylad.

"Then we'll all have to walk on foot." Blaze said.

The police followed us behind with weapons. Armed to be ready for any attack.

The 4 werewolves sniffed the air and back to the doll. They then stopped in a huge clearing and a lake in front of us.

"She's here...." Dottie said.

I look around the place and saw nothing. How can Maya be here?

"T-this is a mistake. She's not anywhere in here."

"No we're sure. Her scent is strong." Rylan said.

We then heard a deathly scream and we all turn to see Cadenza looking up in horror.

We followed her gaze and saw..."M-MAYA!" I yelled.

She was in a floating glass box, unconscious. The box then flies to middle of the lake.

I ran to the lake and almost jumped in until a voice stopped me.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you...."

I turned back and out came Lucinda. Everyone looked at her in a questioning look.

"Lucinda?" Vylad asks.

"You should all know by now that...." dark purple smoke circles around her and until we saw her true form.

"Phoebe is the name HAHAHAHA!"

"Officers!" Jungkook yelled as all the officers pointed their gun at her.

Phoebe smiled. "I wouldn't do that, consider yourself FIRED!"

A ball of flame flies towards the group of officers and hit them, turning one and each of them into stone.

Everyone around me gasped.
Travis clenched his fists and turned into his demon form.
He then starts running towards her.

Katelyn yelled. "TRAVIS NO!"

He ran past her, but Phoebe gave him just one finger touch and he went unconscious.

"TRAVIS!!!"

"Mhmhm who's next?"

Phoebe turned towards everyone.
"EVERYONE GO!" Vylad yelled and boy did they go.

Some stayed at their feat but shake in fear. Only Katelyn, he werewolves, Garroth and Laurance we're here with us.
"What? Frozen to the floor?!"

Phoebe stomped on her foot causing everyone having ice stuck to their feet onto the ground. Except for me and Vylad.

The ice grows across their body and yelled for help till it was too late.

My eyes widen as I took a step back out of fear.
Her magic is too powerful...
Vylad ran beside me and protected me in his arms.

"Give us back Maya Phoebe!"

She gave us her wicked smiled and rested a hand on her hip. "Now why would I do that? What's the good in that for me???
Let me cut this down for you....my boyfriend, left me for another. I was sad....depressed and worst of all....angry....years pass and I found out you were married, had a child.

So answer this Vylad....
Why would I give back your child?"

Her aura is starting to grow and I saw a red sword in front of me. Vylad completely turned into his shadow knight form.

He then takes his stance and I was about to stop him....but he ran.

"VYLAD DON'T!!!"

I was too late......

•Phoebe's POV•

Vylad grab onto my neck as he lifted me up. It hurts, but I'm immune to it a bit.

"Give her back to me....."

"My oh my how your demonic voice has grown..." I smirked.

"No more games Phoebe! Give her back...."

"Ehehehe....I will love to, but there's something you should always remember."

"What is it?"

I slowly grab onto the bottle behind my pocket. I lifted it up and Vylad's eyes went wide. "Always check a girls pocket before you handle her."

"VYLAD!!!"

I smashed the bottle at him and he let me go as he collapsed on the ground.
I dusted myself and smiled at Vylad, twitching in pain.

I heard running footsteps coming towards us and I groan. "Why don't you sit down?!"

I shot (Y/n) an ice ball causing a spiral of ice trapping her on the ground.
She tried pulling her arms and legs apart, but no use.

"NO! LET ME GO PHOEBE! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!"

"The only thing I had to do to get him back..."

I heard a faint groan from Vylad and I looked down at him. He stood up and rubbed his eyes which were now Violet.

"W-What happen?"

"You pass out my love....that girl over there had given you quite a hit."

"VYLAD DON'T LISTEN TO HER!!!"

"Who is...who is she?"

I took a step closer to him and wrap an arm around his chest. "Some girl that would die for you...."
I took out a knife from my pocket.

"So make her die for you...."

"Yes my love...."

His eyes glow Violet and he took the knife and walked closer to (Y/n). I crossed my arms as I watch while giving a small wave at (Y/n).

"Say hi to your mother for me...."

•YOUR POV•

"Vylad you have to snap out of it! You have to listen!"

I tried pulling my arms to break free, but the ice is too strong.

"Why should I listen to you when you mean nothing to me!"

"Stop it!" I barked. "You are not like this! You love me!"

"As if." He snarled as he walked closer with the knife in hand.

"Vylad please!" I started feeling hot tears coming down. "You have to break out of this! Please! Our daughter is over at the lake! She needs us!"

"The only people she needs are me and Phoebe...."

"You can't say that! I'm her mother with you! VYLAD!!!"

He's not budging....

"Let me inform you (y/n), the more you talk, the closer your daughter gets to the water and we wouldn't want her to drown would we???"

I looked at Phoebe with my eyes wide and look back to see the box Maya was inching closer to the water.

Vylad was now close to me. He pull up his knife and was about to throw it at me.

"Vylad.....come back....."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
