~Vylad's POV~

"Be safe! I heard monsters are in the mountains." Says the farmer.

"Thank you." I said. Everyone was on a horse. I was sharing mine with Gene.

"Let's go, follow me and stay close." Says Travis as he was sharing his horse with Katelyn.

We start going up the mountain which was a little too steep. I look above and saw the dark skies. It was terrifying, but I have to be brave. This mountain was very far from where we live and I don't know why would the farmer and his family stay at a place like this which is far from civilization.

"We better move fast! This mountain is dangerous." Travis yelled and then he started to kick his horse's side which made the horse galloped.

We follow him after and we were going really fast. The path was getting thinner and thinner until we knew it, we were so close the edge, yet the horses kept on running!

I then saw we were about to  arrive and we slowed the horses down to the point where we stop.

Travis looked up at the village in front of us. It looked old and haunted, plus to say it looks dark.

"We're here..." Says Travis. "Stay very close. No one will wonder off? Got it?"

Everyone nodded and we follow Travis inside. This place is just abandoned. Nothing and no one is living here. Like the whole village fled.

"Why did this place got abandoned?" I ask Travis whose horse was beside mine.

"They say that a curse and a beast took over this village causing everyone to flee. Including my family...no one knows what or who took over. But it's too strong for anyone to beat.

Before we left, my dad put up a forcefield around the forest with some help of some people to keep the monsters in. That's what the dark cloud is, the curse..."

Everybody looks up to see the black cloud circling around as if it's a black hole.

"Exactly what does this curse do?" Gene asks.

"No one knows, but they say if we stay in this village for too long we will get infected by the darkness. Which is why we need to be quick." Says Travis.

We start to pick up the pace with our horses until they stop on their own in front of a forcefield of pure black.

You can't see what's inside and it scares the heck out of me. But I stayed brave. That's all I have to be.

"Okay everyone got the plan?" Everyone nodded as we got off our horses. "Leave the horses here, they're to scared to go in. Guess you need to run in and out."

Me and the others get ready to run. Travis, Garroth, Zane, Zenix, Sasha, Laurance and Katelyn go in a line front of the forcefield.

Garroth, Zane, Katelyn, Laurance, Zenix and Sasha had their relics out pointing towards the forcefield while Travis was in the middle of them with his hands out.

He closed his eyes for a second before opening them to see his eyes pure white. He was in his demonic form and mumbled some words.

Then there was a line connecting from Travis to the others then the relics shoots a beam to the portal while Travis has his hands out, causing a hole to be opened. 

"Go! We can't hold that long!" Travis yelled.

We all ran in, keeping close to each other. The forest was dark, but luckily Aphmau was carrying a lantern.

We then saw an opening and we were in front of a house. I kicked down the door and everybody ran inside and up the stairs.

"Search Anything! Me and Gene will be on look out!" I yelled inside.

Me and Gene gone into our shadow knight forms as we had our swords out. I look from my right to left.

It was quiet. Too quiet...
"Vylad..." Gene called my name and pointed towards a pair of red eyes staring back at me in the darkness.

It comes closer and closer, me and Gene have our swords out. I've never seen such blood red eyes like those. It comes closer and closer and we sees it's form.

It is definitely a monster and it stays still for a second. Gene had his hand out towards me, meaning to stay silent and not engaged.

"We got it! Let's get th—"

The monster then charge at us and I block it's attack with my sword. Everyone gasped and screamed.

"GO! GET OUT OF HERE!" I yelled.

This monster was still on top of me, before I push it off of me.

Gene and I start running back to where the hole was and we were almost there, before something made me fall and it then drags me back.

"HELP!" I yelled.

"VYLAD!" Gene yelled back.

He ran as quick as he can towards me and quickly sliced off the thing that was dragging me.

He then help me up and we started running out of the forest and we saw the others.

"HURRY! WE CAN'T HOLD IT MUCH LONGER!!!" Travis yelled as the hole was getting smaller and smaller.

Me and Gene then slide through the hole and we made it out. I was out of breath and so did Gene. We were tired that we collapsed on the ground. So did the ones who hold the portal.

"Did....you guys...got it?" Travis asks out of breath since he was the one who mostly gave out his powers.

"We got it!" Kawaii~Chan then showed us a doll.

"Will...that work...?" I ask towards Travis.

"It..might..." Travis' eyes then shot opened as he stood up. "This isn't over. We have to go now! The curse will be put in us if we stay too long."

"Right..." I got up and help the others.

We were getting on our horses and we galloped out of the village. We made it out and down the mountain we got until we knew it, we were back down on the ground.

~Time Skip~

"How will it take for Travis to do this spell?" Laurance asks. We're all here in my living room as we wait for Travis who was in the backyard practicing the spell.

He shut the curtains so no body can see what he's about to do, cause he says it'll blind our eyes.

"I don't know, but we can trust him." I said.

All of us were just talking and watching some movies until we heard a boom which made us all yell or scream.

"What was that?!" Zane asked.

"Travis!" Katelyn exclaim as she was about to go to the backyard's door, but I hold her back.

"No! Katelyn don't!" I yelled as I was trying to pull her back, but for a girl, she's strong.

"No! I need to know if he's fine! TRAVIS!" Katelyn yelled.

Everyone was trying to help me until we see the door slide opened and saw Travis.

I let go of Katelyn and she ran into Travis' arms, hugging him like her life depends on it.

"I was so worried! After that loud bang, I thought you....you..." Katelyn hug him tightly and Travis hugged her back.

"Babe, I'm fine. Don't worry..."

I see those two in his moment and it made me heartbroken to know that I can't do that with (y/n) right now...

"Travis." Dante said as those two pulled away. "Did you manage to find it?"

Travis Sighs from exhaustion. "Yes, apparently she's in England, more specifically London."

That's when I realize. "That's right, she told me that she once want to go to College there..." I said remembering what she ever wished for.

"Unfortunately I can't get a specific place on where she might be in London, but I guess we just have to search for her." Says Travis.

"Do you remember what college (y/n) wanted to apply in?" Aphmau asks me.

"No..." I said.

"Well I guess we're going on a trip then." Says Travis.

"I'll go and find tickets for us." Says Aaron.

"Will Lea be joining us?" Nicole asks.

"I'll ask her later. Thank you guys for your help. It has been quite a day and we're all exhausted. It's best if you guys sleep here."

"Are you sure you have enough rooms for us?" Zane asks.

"Yeah, plus we have extra mattresses. Some can sleep on the couch and yeah."

"Alright then, it's lucky for Travis telling us to bring pajamas in case something happens." Says Katelyn.

Everyone nodded and got to their bags while I stand here. Where I am...
I hope we can find (y/n).....but should we?
