"I just can't wait!" Zianna said as we all walked in to the boutique.

"Ahhh there's the star..."

"Cadenza, you have no idea how much I thank you. Really! Like thank you for making up some dresses in short notice." I said as I hugged her.

"Well anything for the person who saved my life. But it wasn't only me you know..."

"I've helped a bit." Said Lucinda as she walked in.

"Woah, what happened to your eyes, Luci?" Aph asked.

"Oh that, don't worry, trying a new trend? You know?"

"Well electric blue doesn't really suit you." Says Katelyn.

"No one asked Katelyn, but thank you for noticing my amazing eyes!"

"Okaaayyyyy, why don't we go and see your dresses." Cadenza linked arms with me as she took me and the others to a private area.
"When you send me those designs, I just had to make them as soon as possible. You got good taste darling."

"Well they are my dream wedding dresses." I said.

Everyone got seated down while Cadenza took me to the changing rooms.

All the dresses were hugged up on the wall and I looked at all of them amazed.

"You've out done yourself Cadenza."

"Yes yes thank you, now go change!"

Cadenza shut the door while I locked it. I tried the first one on and it has so much detailed lace designs!

I went out and Cadenza looked at me in awe. "You look stunning! Come on, let's show the others."

Cadenza helped me in walking and when I cane out the girls gasped and I saw Zianna crying a bit.

"Ohhhh that looks gorgeous sweetie!" She said.

I smiled and I slowly turned to show the dress looks. "Maybe just showing a bit of skin at the back, don't you think?" Katelyn asks.

"Yes, but this dress is honestly comfortable, nothing is out of place and it just feels amazing."

"Well try on the other dresses and then you'll decide." Says Aph.

I went back in and changed to my second dress.

I came back out and everyone looked at me in awe. "Again with the back." Katelyn said and everyone laughed.

"Well I'm sorry. That may have been my problem." Says Lucinda.

"So?" Cadenza asks.

"It's lovely, the jewels are in definitely the right detail and the layers of the dress is perfect, not hard to walk on either."

"It's lovely..."

I smiled and went back in to try the other 2 dresses left. I took off the dress and then wore the next one which was wow stunning.

"Now that's a bomber, wow." Says Lucinda.

"You think Vylad would make it in 2 minutes after seeing you in that?" Aph joked and everyone laughed.

"This is absolutely beautiful." I said as I look at myself in the mirror.

"Come, let's try the final dress." Cadenza Says as she helped me back to the changing room.
I quickly change while I heard Cadenza said
"You know, you're lucky...."

"What do you mean?" I asked as I change into the dress.

"You getting married. Finding someone who you will love and stay with, for the rest of your lives."

"Well you can do that too."

"Oh no dear....remember, I'm busy..."

I finally got myself in the dress and I slowly opened the door to be met by Cadenza looking upset while leaning against the wall.

"Cadenza, you know I can help in finding you a guy and you can ask one of your employees to take care of the businesses when you're gone. 
You need to have fun and just you know, be who you really are."

Cadenza looked up and smile. "Oh that's sweet of you, I'll think about it. Now come on, let's show everyone this final dress."

Cadenza helped me in walking and everyone gasped once they saw me.

"Wow so silky..." Says Katelyn.

"It's gorgeous." Says Zianna.

"Well (y/n), you're going to have to choose." Says Lucinda.

"Yes, she's right. These 4 dresses are yours but you can only choose one." Says Cadenza.

(You get to choose! But if these dresses are not what you want to wear on your special day, then you can imagine one)

~Time Skip~

"So you're telling me....." I said to the secretary.

"Well since your father has been missing a-and we needed someone to manage the company.
We had to ask your cousin." She said as she stammers a bit.

"What?!" I exclaimed and the secretary flinched. I sighed and brushed my hair back. "Why him?"

"W-Well you and Mr. Travis are q-quite busy and well...your cousin was looking for a job....so....."

I sighed once more before shaking my head. "Alright alright alright....where is he?" I asked.

"Your father's office."

I nodded before heading to where the lifts were. Everyone looked at me when I passed by, some were shock to see that I'm here after a long time or some see me in disgust knowing that the CEO of this company is slacking off on his job and they have to trust my cousin to run this business or some see me in pity to know my father is missing.

I pressed the button of the lift and get in as quick as I pressed the top floor.

I tapped my foot impatiently and that's when I heard the ding then I stormed out to the office.
Everyone gasped and murmured when they saw me passed by and before the front desk lady can say anything I opened the big doors.

"Xander!" I exclaimed as I slammed the doors. "You have some guts to be back!" I growled as I stomped to his desk and punched his table.

"Cous! It's great to see you!" He stood up and hugged, completely cutting me off guard.

"W-what?!" I pushed him away and crossed my arms. "What are you doing here?!"

"Running the family business." He said with ease with a soft smile on his face.

"You?! I don't think so, this is my father's business so stay out!"

"Actually this business started from our whole family, not only your father. So i can join this business anytime I want.
And since I'm the oldest out of you and Travis, I got to run this business."

"After what you had done...."

Xander sighed and rubbed his neck. "I messed up okay?" He turned back and leaned his head against the window. "I know and learned my mistakes, I'm sorry cous....I didn't mean to embarrass you like that..."

"Xander, as much as I want to forgive you, it'll give me time. Cause I have never EVER heard you apologizing before...so it's creeping me out..." I took a step back from the desk.

"Heh." He chuckled as her turned around to face me. "Point taken."

"But Xander, why can't Aunt Laya or Uncle Boil take over the business instead of you?" I asked.

"Mom and Dad are busy with their own things, plus they trust me to be in charge. I'm sorry we didn't tell you or Travis sooner."

"Stop with the apologizing, it's giving me weird vibes."

He laughed. "Look that was me in high school. I've changed. Honest. I mean have you seen me with my hair all styled neatly and me wearing a suit?"

"No, cause I remember, you always greased your hair and you always wear black leather jackets, trying to look like those people from the old movies."

"Everyone has their own opinions on styles."

"Yeah, I guess." I said. ".....okay, I'm trusting you to run this business but if there's trouble please call me."

"What about Travis?"

"The last thing you want to happen to this building is having it transported to another dimension. So I may be the youngest, but I' s the smartest."

"Hahahahaha! Great joke!" Xander laughs.

I raised an eyebrow and rolled my eyes. "Right, and.....I'll forgive you. By the way...."

I slid the wedding invitation onto his desk.
"WHAT?! SINCE WHEN?!?!" He yelled.

"S-since months actually....we're having the wedding in just a couple of days...did I forgot to tell you I also have a child???"

"WHAT?!?! MY HEART! MY BRAIN! FULL OF JOY AND INFORMATION!!!" He smiled then fell back down to his chair while massaging his head.

"Well, her name is Maya and if you come to the wedding, you can meet her." I then leaned down and pull Xander's tie. "But if you do anything to my daughter I will slaughter you and throw you to the pits of the Nether."

"I won't do anything to my precious little Niece and Nice demonic Cous."

"Great and thanks. Been practicing."

"Well I'll definitely come to your wedding. Well even though I love this chat, I have so much work to do."

"Right, I understand. Thanks for taking care of the company...." I said.

"Not a problem. Hug????"
Xander pulls his arm out, making grabby hands and I just took a step back.

"Might take me a while to get use to....this you...."

"Come on...."

"Fine." I step into his hug, it was comforting but still weird.

"See???? I've changed."

"You sure have...." I pulled away and start getting my bag. "I guess we'll see each other next time." I said.

"Yeah, bye."

"Bye."

I exited the office and sighed as I lean against the door. He really has changed.

I start walking towards the lift and went down to the lobby. Before I exited this building a male employee came running to me.

"Ms. (Y/n)?" He asks.

"Yes?"

"Ummm we know that your cousin is the one who is taking over the company now, but t-this is for you. Something your f-father left, before he went missing."

The employee gave me a small package, all wrapped in tape. "Thank you, and please do call if anything happened here."

"Yes ma'am."

I nodded before heading out. I got into my car in the front parking lot and started going home.

So Dad left me a package, while Xander is taking over the business.
And I'm just learning all of this now? What more can I take that my family is hiding something from me......
