A couple days later...

Rin's P.O.V.

Me and Yukio had gone back home to the dorms. I had left Kimi with them and it hurt me to do so, but I knew it would be for the better. I'm pretty sure Kimi is out of sorts with this whole thing as well. Yukio even watched an anime of my choice last night to try and distract me. Which kinda helped ease my worries.

I woke up to the sound of my phone's alarm going off before groaning and rolling over to turn it off. Once it was turned off, I laid on my back and groaned. I was just resting my eyes as I let my mind wonder. And my body immediately started to have a cold sweat while feeling warm and having shaky hands and breaths. I wasn't really thinking about anything that would panic me, but my body felt like it was going into defense mode.

I felt thirsty, so I tried to roll over and grab the water that was by my phone and bed. But I hit it instead and it spilled on the floor. I laid back on my bed and groaned again. I wanted to call for Yukio, but I didn't feel like I had the energy or strength. I could tell that Kuro was worried because he started rubbing against my hand that was still hanging off the bed. Then he ran off somewhere, probably to get Yukio. Kuro was gone for a few minutes before I heard footsteps come towards the dorm room.

"Rin! Rin, are you okay?" Yukio asked as he came into the room and Kuro jumped onto my bed. I couldn't really say anything, but I held up my hand to show him that it was shaking. He sighed and put a hand on his chest before sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Come on." He said as he took my hand and helped pull up. He also put a hand behind my back to help me up. Once I was sitting up, I rested my head and free hand against his chest, which he didn't have a shirt on and was wet. He did have on pants though. He probably jumped out of the shower and threw on some pants when Kuro started yelling and meowing for him, then immediately thought it was about me. Since Kuro usually goes to me for things. He rubbed my back to help calm me down. The smell of his body wash also helped calm me down as well. I couldn't tell what it smelled like, but it was calming to me. Maybe minted tea-tree oil?

"Feeling any better?" He asked as he rubbed my back.

"Y-Yeah, thanks." I stuttered out.

"Well, I became worried when Kuro started basically screaming for me outside the shower." He said, getting me to chuckle.

"Thanks, buddy." I said as I scratched Kuro behind the ears and he purred as he rubbed against my hand.

"I guess I can finish getting ready now, if you feel better."

"Yeah, you can." I said before he nodded and stood up before walking out of the dorm room. Probably to go back to the showers. I let out a heavy sigh as I scratched the back of my head. Then I stood up before pulling out my uniform. I took off my pajamas and put on a binder before putting on my school uniform. I pulled out some socks before sitting on my bed and putting them on. After that, I looked at my arms. They had healed scars, but you could still see them with the paler skin against my milky pale skin.

Then Yukio walked into the dorm room before I snapped back up and started to get my jacket off the hanger. Yukio started to put on his socks as I put my jacket on and walked towards the door.

"Do you wanna make breakfast this morning or do you want to get something on the way?" Yukio asked as he was trying to put on a sock. I had started to put my school shoes on.

"I was just gonna grab some yogurt from the cafeteria. You want one?" I said as I looked back at him and picked up my school bag.

"Sure, if you could please put granola in it for me."

"Okay." I said before walking out and going to the bathroom to freshen up. After I was done, I went to the cafeteria to get two strawberry yogurts and some granola from the kitchen fridge. I made his yogurt with granola, before starting to mix up my yogurt well and I started to eat it. Yukio came down a little later and walked in to get his yogurt.

"Thanks." He said as he picked up his yogurt from the table that was in between the cafeteria and kitchen.

"Welcome." I said as I got done with my yogurt and he started eating his. I threw away the empty cup and put the spoon in the sink, knowing I would clean the dishes after dinner later. I came back to the little window as Yukio got done with his yogurt and handed it to me. I did the same thing before leaving out water and food for Kuro while we were gone. Then I walked out of the kitchen before going to the front door to walk out in order to go to school.

"Oh, here." He said before I was just about to open the door, getting me to look at him. He had pulled out his wallet and was giving me some money.

"What's this for?" I asked as he handed it to me.

"For lunch. Since you haven't made lunches in a while and we both don't need to starve."

"Aren't we gonna meet at lunch?" I asked as I put the cash in my back pocket, and he put his wallet back in his school bag.

"I have a study hall during lunch today, so no. I will be able to walk you to lunch and get something to eat though."

"Alright." I said before he opened the front door and let me out first. Then he walked out and closed the door behind him. Then we walked to school together and he made sure I was okay before he left me at my first period class before going to his. The first half of the day went pretty normal.

When lunch came around, Yukio walked with me to lunch before getting his lunch and going to the study hall. I didn't feel that hungry, so I just wondered around until I got to where me and Yukio usually met up for lunch. Which was the bench next to a couple bushes and trees. There was a student stand nearby, which was always open during school hours and was usually very busy during lunch. I decided I would get a yakisoba bun before getting in line. I didn't want Yukio to give me hell for not eating at all.

It got to my turn in the line before I went to pick up the last yakisoba bun and another hand grabbed it the same time I did. I wasn't willing to fight for food, after all I could get something else, but I looked up to see who it was. It was Bon, this was the first time we've bumped into each other outside of the health class we share, and cram school. Shima and Konekomaru were behind him with their lunches. They all looked surprised to see me, and I would be too if I hadn't seen any of them in school for almost 2 weeks.

"Where in the hell on earth have you been?" Bon asked, getting my attention back to him.

"I-I'll explain later. But you can have the bun." I said as I let it go. Bon bought it before I followed them to where they usually ate. Which was under some trees by a fountain and bushes.

"Where have you been, Okumura?" Konekomaru asked as they started to eat.

"And where's Kimi? Is she with tech?" Shima asked.

"No, she's not with Yukio. She's with my dad for the time being." I said.

"What have you been doing? Because you look skinny and tired as hell." Bon said.

"I've not been feeling that well. My life is a bit of a mess right now, and I'm trying to get it back to normal. I don't know if I'll be back for good like I said last time, but I'll be trying to not go for too long if I do need to take a break."

"Do you have anything to eat?" Konekomaru asked.

"No, I haven't been able to make and pack lunches lately. I'm also not hungry enough to get something from the main school cafeteria. I was gonna get something from the student store, but decided against it."

"Well, here." Bon said as he handed me the yakisoba bun he got. "I usually get this to snack on later, but you can have it. Since you need to eat."

"You sure?" I said before he nodded. "Okay." I said before I hesitantly took the bun. Then I unwrapped it and started to eat it. As I ate we continued to talk.

"Rin?" A male voice said from behind me. I had gotten done eating the yakisoba bun and Bon had put it in his empty lunch bag.

"Hey..." I said as I turned around and noticed it was Shiratori.

"You know him?" Shima asked.

"Basically, I'll see you guys in cram school." I said as I stood up.

"Alright." Bon said before I walked off with Shiratori. I had been holding his arm before getting to an area of the school where not a lot of students went. But a few others did and that kept me calm even though I knew Shiratori would probably not do anything.

"So... how come you stopped talking to me?" He asked.

"Well, because I ran away. I had gotten pregnant beforehand."

"How? Why didn't you tell anyone?"

"Because of the true cross and me being half demon. They don't take too kindly to that. And I was raped."

"Did i...when I was possessed?" He questioned, looking disgusted with himself.

"No no, I was pregnant before we had that fight. Besides, if you were, I wouldn't have become friends with you or be comfortable coming with you here."

"Alright, that's good." He said as he sighed in relief. "Well how've you been besides that?"

"Eh could be better. Lots of mental issues right now and other little things."

"I'm sorry."

"It's Alright, I'm able to push through. How've you been?"

"Feeling better than before since I'm away from my parents now. Trying to make friends but none are really sticking."

"Well you got me back, so That's one."

"Yeah." He said as he chuckled and smiled. We talked until lunch was over and we went to our classes. I got to health class before sitting down and seeing Bon sit down.

"Alright class, we have a small work sheet today. Or a trust exorcise if you want to call it that. You can choose a partner, but if you don't I'll pair you up." The techer said as they walked in with half sheets of paper that were printed on. Me and Bon looked at each other before he came over and sat by my desk as other students moved. Then the teacher passed out the half sheets. The had printed human bodies on it.

"What you'll be doing is writing and coloring physical scars. They can be past or present ones." The techer said as they handed out the markers. I sighed before we both choice our markers and got started. I colored and wrote things down like my scared arms and thighs, my strech marks, the bruises i hot from breastfeeding and old fight scars. I looked over at Bon after I was done and his were mainly old fight scars or from being clumsy.

"After you've finshed that turn it around to the other side for your mental scars. These can also be from the past or present." Teach said before we did so. I worked on the head for my mental helath and put hands on the hips to represent getting raped. I also drew on the heart area too.

"Now if you're done, please swap with your partner. Do not out your partner if they're not comfortable. But these will be turned into me later." The teacher said before we swaped. Bon's was mostly fight scars and wounds from falling and other things. He also had a lot of headaches. I flipped it over to see he was stressing out due to family problems and being an exorcist and his goal. I looked over at him and he looked shocked at mine. Which I shouldn't of been surprised at, but I did feel guilty.

"Now turn them in please." The Teacher said before we did so. "That is all for today, the rest if the class is yours." They said before the bell rang. "Or not." They said before we all left.

"Hey." Bon said as he held my arm after I tried to rush out. "Why say that? You could have lied about it. No one was forced to open up."

"Well I do need to be more open, and you would have been mad later if I said and you didn't know."

"Alright fair, I should really control that."

"Mhm you do. Now we need to get to the next class." I said before leaving. The rest of the day went alright as well.
