Rin's P.O.V.

I woke up with the sun in my eyes. I groaned before burying my head into something warm and wrapped my arm around something that felt the same. I felt an arm around me and a hand playing with my hair, along with a saddle breathing. I groaned again as I opened my eyes before looking up. It was Yukio and he seemed to still be asleep. His glasses were off and the sun was up now. I wrapped my arm around him before seeing that it was bandaged. I looked down to see Kimi on a pillow in between us, he had his arm around her, and my other arm was also bandaged. She was asleep on her back with both her hands above her head. She also had her small blanket over her while I had my blanket over my hips and legs. Yukio didn't have a blanket or pillow, but he did have on his pajamas though.

I smiled down at her before kissing her on the head. She stirred in her sleep by scrunching up her nose and moving her arms closer to herself, ending up in covering her face. I could feel Kuro laying across my side and lightly snoring. I also wrapped my tail around Kimi. Yukio eventually groaned before opening his eyes.

"Hey." I said, not knowing what else to say.

"Hey." He said back in a groggy voice as he rubbed his eyes. "How long have you been up?"

"A few minutes." I said before he groaned and rubbed his eyes.

"You feeling any better?" He asked after rubbing his eyes.

"I guess."

"Guess?"

"I don't know right now. I just kinda feel numb."

"Alright then."

"Did you call dad last night?"

"Yeah, I did. He said he would be here this morning."

"Alright, but isn't there still school today?"

"Yes, and before you ask, no you aren't going. I'm not going either until dad gets here. So, I know you wouldn't be alone."

"Fine, fine. What time is it anyway?" I asked as I rubbed my eyes.

"I don't know." He said before rolling over and sitting up on my bedside. He leaned down to put on his glasses and check my phone for the time. "It's 9:06." He said before I sighed as he put my phone down.

"You're late then, that probably won't look good on paper in the future."

"I don't care. You hurt yourself last night, you clearly don't need to be alone." He said in a mean tone as he turned around to look at me. He looked mad as well, which made me nervous. I wrapped my arm around Kimi before bringing her closer to me and Kimi grabbed onto the collar of my t-shirt. Which she put in her mouth to nibble on. I hid my face against her as I felt a tear start to roll down my cheek.

"Rin, look at me." He said before I just hummed at him. That only made him more stern with me. "Look at me." He said before shook my head. "Rin!" He said as he put his hand on my shoulder. He accidentally pushed a little to hard, ending up in me getting pushed enough to look at him. Which made me mad and he saw that I was starting to cry.

"Rin, I didn't want to make you cry." He said as he looked sorry.

"I know, I guess I'm just emotional now." I said as I wiped away my tears. Then I felt my shirt being pulled and I looked down seeing that Kimi was pulling my shirt, showing my sports bra and a little of my cleavage. "Kimi!" I said as I pulled my shirt up over my chest. "Guess she's hungry." I said as she continued trying to grab at my chest.

"Sorry, I accidentally looked." Yukio said before I looked up. He had turned away and had his hand next to his face, probably shielding his eyes.

"It's okay."

"I'll go make some breakfast then." He said as he got off my bed and walked to dorm room door before opening it.

"No cooking, the last thing we need is a dorm fire."

"You know I can put a couple pop tarts in the toaster." He said before walking out and closing the door behind him. I chuckled before picking up Kimi to feed her. It hurt my arms to pick her up and hold her, but I suffered tough it until she was done. When she was done and I put my clothes back where they were supposed to be, I stood up before looking at Kimi's swinging seat. It was a baby chair that hung and could lightly swig to put her to sleep. I picked it up before going to the cafeteria. When I got to the cafeteria, I set the swinging seat next a table before Yukio walked over.

"Here." He said as he set down a plate with two warm pop tarts.

"Thanks." I said as I set Kimi in her seat, so I wouldn't have to hold her. He sat in the seat across from me before he started to eat his pop tarts. I ate as well, but it was a little slow. When I got done, I just kinda sat there with my arms crossed on the table.

"Do you want to go take a shower before dad gets here?" Yukio asked as he was doing dishes.

"Um yeah, I will. Guessing you'll watch over Kimi?"

"I will."

"Okay then." I said before standing up.

"I'll redo your bandages when you get done."

"Alright." I said before going to our dorm room. I got under wear, sports bra, t-shirt, and jean shorts before going to the showers. In the old dorms like ours, the showers, dorm rooms, and bathrooms are all suppurated. In the new dorms, like Bon, Shima, and Konekomaru live in, the bathrooms and dorm rooms are connected. But the showers are still suppurated and the are three to a dorm room, and not two. When I got to the showers, I set my clean clothes on a bench before taking off my clothes and bandages. Then I stepped into a shower stall before turning on the water. It soothed and relaxed me as I sighed.

When I got done showering, I stepped out and got a towel before drying off and putting on the clean clothes. I did go put my dirty clothes in the hamper that was in our dorm room. Then I went back to the cafeteria where Yukio was, he noticed me as I walked in.

"I'll get the aid kit." He said before walking off. I sat at the table next to Kimi before leaning down and letting her hold my finger with her small hands. "Alright, I got it." Yukio said as he came back to the cafeteria.

"Alright." I said as he sat at the table across from the table I was sitting at. He opened the aid kit and got out the bandages before there was a knock at the front door. "I guess that's dad."

"Yeah, it is. I'll be back." He said before setting the bandages back into the aid kit. Then he stood up and went to the front door. He came back a couple minutes later with dad. Who was wearing black pants and a long sleeved shirt. Dad put his hand on Yukio's shoulder and said something before Yukio nodded and walked away. Then dad came over and sat where Yukio was sitting before picking up the bandages.

"Arm." He said before I gave him my left arm. The cuts were a little more healed now. They look like they've been healing for a few weeks, when they've been healing over night. Which is actually slower then usual. They should of been gone in a lot less time.

"I-I'm sorry." I said as dad started wrapping the bandages around my arm.

"You don't have to apologize. You were in a dark place and needed away out. Me and Yukio just worry about you. But please try not to do this again, please?" He said as he looked at me.

"I promise." I said as he got done with my arm and started to do the other one.

"I know what it's like."

"To what?"

"To be in that dark place."

"How?"

"I had a life before you and Yukio. Some bad things happened to me growing up. So, when I became an adult, I continued to make bad decisions. I used to have bad thoughts about everything. I haven't been though what you've been though. But I did used to be stuck in that place." He said as he got done with my bandages before putting the rest of them in the aid kit.

"Did anyone help you? Did mom help you?" I asked as I rubbed my arm. He sighed as he closed the aid kit. He stayed silent for a minute.

"She did."

"Alright, dad. Are you sure everything will be okay until I get back?" Yukio asked as he walked into the cafeteria while putting on his blazer. He had on his school uniform and was carrying his school bag. Dad looked over his shoulder to look at him.

"Yeah, I got it." Dad said as Yukio walked into the kitchen to get to the fridge.

"Thanks, dad." He said as he put a dento box in his school bag before leaving for school.
