Shima's P.O.V.

"Excuse me!" I said as I came into the kitchen. Izumo and Shiemi were there. Shiemi was still working and Izumo was in a komodo with her hair in a bun.

"Ms. Moriyama! Quick! We need ice, Bon's been hurt!" Konekomaru said from behind me.

"Oh, right!" She said before getting a rag wet with cold water. As she was doing that, I got a stole out and had Bon sit on it. Then Shiemi gave him the cold wet rag with ice. Me and Konekomaru don't know how he got hurt, we just know that he came running to us with a red and purple bruise under his left eye. Konekomaru wouldn't give him the chance to speak because he was hurt. Bon just sat there as we waited for him to talk about what happened.

"Alright, are you gonna tell us what happened?" Izumo said in annoyed tone. Everybody else was just standing around while I sat on the island counter.

"The right eye was stolen from the field office." Bon said after a couple minutes. We were all shocked at that.

"No way. For real?"

"For real and they took Rin away as well."

"Oh no..." Shiemi said.

"Why? What did he do?" I said as I got protective for some reason.

"His flames came out and almost everyone saw him." Bon said.

"So, where is he now?" Konekomaru asked.

"The field office, locked in a cell."

"So, now he's in trouble, like, serious trouble?" I asked.

"Rin..." Shiemi said before we noticed she was shaking. Then we heard running and shouting from other places in the inn. I got off the counter before walking over to move the purple drape to see what was going on.

"What's going on out there?" I questioned myself.

"It must be serious." Konekomaru said.

"Is in true that they caught Mamushi?" Said an inn keeper exorcist.

"Yeah, Jinzo did. He's bring her back too." Said another before Bon looked surprised.

"Mamushi?" He said before standing up and running out of the kitchen.

"Bon, where are you going?!" Konekomaru said as Bon ran out of the kitchen. He almost ran into me on the way out. And we all followed him all the way to the front of the field office.

"As most of you know, Todo and I stole the eyes. A little while ago, he used them to revive the Impure King." Mamushi said as we got to the field office. She was sitting on the ground with everyone else in front of her, but Jinzo was next to her.

"That's impossible." Said an exorcist. The rest started to chatter as well.

"But the Impure King was defeated a long time ago." Said another.

"The Impure King as been held in a coma like state under the temple for all these years." Mamushi said. Her voice was getting weaker, she must of been really hurt.

"Cut the chatter!" Jinzo shouted before she continued.

"Right now, it's on the lose and growing. Master is up there to and he's taking that demon all by himself." She said before Bon looked surprised. "I beg you, please send help! He can't do this on his own!" She pleaded as she bowed down to the floor.

"You got some nerve asking for help after what you did." An exorcist said.

"You brought it back to live, so you deal with it." Said another.

"This is not the time to be fighting with each other." My dad said as he looked back at the other exorcists. "Every exorcist, including security one and two, and the deep keepers, will help our master. The Impure King is related to the king of rot. So, you'll need to get vaccinated to fight the miasma." He finished before every one started running to their places.

"Mamushi..." Bon said as he walked up to her.

"M-Master Ruji!" She exclaimed. Her right eye was closed and blood was going down her cheek.

"Your eye. I'll get the doc."

"I-I'm sorry. He's alone! The master is alone! Save him!"

"Don't worry, Bon. I'll get her to the doctor." Jinzo said as he put his arm around her.

"Then what? You going?" Bon asked.

"Of course! I'll go up there once she's settled. As for you and your pals, you better go back to the inn for now." He said as he pick up Mamushi bridle style. then he looked at me and Konekomaru. "Keep him safe. If anything happens to him your dead! Got it?!" He shouted at us with an angry tone and mean face.

"We got it. He's save with us." I replied as Konekomaru was scared out of his mind. Then Jinzo left with Mamushi, but Bon looked angry. "Come on, Bon. You heard my brother, we have to go back to the inn."

"Hey, you guys. I got something for ya." Shura said as she walked up to us. She was carrying a couple of green coats.

"Where's Rin? Is he okay?" Shiemi asked after Shura caught up with us.

"He's alright. Don't know how long it will take for The Knights of the True Cross to know about his flare up. Here Bon, it's a letter from your dad. He says we need Rin's power to kill the Impure King." She said as she handed Bon a letter. "Rin did say he was up for a fight, but he needs you guys to bust him out. The only way he'll get out of this is if he does something heroic. Here, these are camo pouches. You put them on and you turn insatiable. You can walk right up to his cell and no one will notice." She said as she set down the coats.

"Ms. Kirigakure! It's time to go." An exorcist said as they came around the corner.

"Okay!~" She sang back before the exorcist went away. "As you can see the Order has me on a tight leash, I gotta behave. You guys have to work it out from here. I'm counting on you." She said before walking away. Then Bon read the letter out loud. After he was done, we were quite. But Shiemi looked determined before picking up one of the coats.

"Let's go, guys! Rin needs our help!" Shiemi said.

"Hell, I want to get him out of there as much as anyone. The thing is we don't want to piss off The Knights of the True Cross." I said. It hurt to say so, but it was true. We would be in more then trouble if we tried to get Rin out.

"But this is our one and only chance to save Rin! If we don't try, we'll regret it!" She said back before Bon grabbed a coat and put it on.

"The cells are down this way." He said before walking away.

"Bon!" Konekomaru said.

"Th-Thank you, Suguro." Shiemi said. Then Konekomaru got a coat and put it on as well.

"Come on, Shima. We said we would protect Bon. And She's right, I would regret it." He said.

"Thank you, Miwa!" Shiemi said before me and Izmuo got our coats and put them on. But as I was putting mine on Kinzo slammed a door open.

"Move your ass, Renzo!" He said as he ran and knocked me over. "While you kids are taking a nap at the inn. I'll be spilling my blood for meyota!" He said as he ran outside and I stood back up before rubbing my head. I looked down before seeing an extra coat. I guessed it was for Rin before picking it up. As we were walking to the cells Konekomaru accidentally stepped on my heel.

"Ow!" I said, but the exorcists heard me.

"I told you, no talking." The exorcist said.

"Mm? I thought that was you." Replied the other exorcist.

"I didn't say anything. Quit messing around."

"I'm not. Jeez."

"That was way to close." Shiemi said after we got past the exorcists.

"Thanks for stepping on my heel, Konekomaru." I said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean too." He replied.

"The only issue with these coats is that we can't see each other. Other then that they're pretty cool." Izumo said.

"Shhhh, his cell is coming up." Bon said before we took our hoods off and could see each other again.

"Rin! Rin, we came to get you." Shiemi said as we got to his cell. He was just sitting up against the wall with his knees to his chest and his sword on the floor in front of him. "We talked to Ms. Kirigakure, she told us what you said. And we all want to help you, so come on let's get out of here."

"Stay away from me." Rin said in response. We were all surprised at that.

"What do you mean? Why?"

"Simple, I can't control my flames without believing in myself. I thought if I just stuck with it, I would get the hang of it at some point. Now I know that's never gonna happen. It's just how it is. Maybe I'd be better off if I died."

"Wha-" She said before I cut in.

"What are you saying? You can't just say something like that out of the blue." I said.

"Trust me, you wouldn't understand. You don't need to anyway." Rin replied.

"Stop that! You can't just say that and push us away like that. We were here because we want to help you." Shiemi said as she started to cry.

"Don't you get it? I'm a monster!" Rin said before his flames went up. We covered our self's with our arms. But I realized I wasn't being burned. His flames were just warm. I looked up from my arms and saw Rin crying. I looked over at everyone else. Sheimi was also looking up from her arms before looking around and seeing me. I nodded at her before we both went to the cell. I opened the cell door for her before we walked in. She fell to her knees and hugged him as he looked up.

"Rin, I'm sorry." She said.

"Don't, you're going to get burned. It's not safe." He said before holding him closer. And his flames went down.

"I couldn't be safer." She said before Rin hugged her back and hid his face in her shoulder. He also wrapped his tail around her. I walked to them before hugging Rin as well and he moved his arm to be around me too. Then we let him go. "See? There's no burns on any of us." She said before we stood up and he saw everyone else.

"You guys really came to save me?" Rin asked as we walked out of the cell.

"Yeah, I-I wouldn't like it if you died. If it turns out you're not dangerous, I would like to be friends with you ." Konekomaru said.

"F.Y.I. I'm here because Ms. Kirigakure told me to. Not for something sappy." Izumo said.

"Thanks..." Rin said as some tears feel down his cheeks. Then he was japed in the side and fell down. Both me and Shiemi were surprised. Bon had japed him in the side with Rin's sword

"S-Suguro..." Rin said while holding his side.

"I wasn't thinking right before, man. I was kinda pissed at my dad and stuff. Anyway you were right about my dad. Not the other crap. You'll need this if you're gonna fight. Here take it." Bon said before handing it Rin. Rin took it before standing back up.

"Well, I'm sorry for punching you in the face."

"Yeah, well, I'll show you where we need to go." Bon said before turning around. "After this you can do want you want. I don't care. I'll be fighting too."

"Suguro! I just want you to work with me. I can't help it if I'm Satan's kid. But I'll use my flames your good, I swear. Please, trust me for a little bit."

"I don't care if your Satan's kid. The reseson I'm so mad at is that you were caring that baggage by yourself. If you said something, maybe we could of helped. Why should I trust you if you don't trust me? Am I the only one who thought we were friends?!" He said before turning back around.

"No wait, you got it all wrong!" Rin said.

"You've been pissed at him because of that? That's what's been bugging you? Well' that's one for the books." I said.

"Shima..." Konekomaru sighed out. I gave Rin his coat before Bon's phone started to ring.

"What did something happen to my dad?!" He basically yelled, making us concered. He stayed on the phone a little longer before hanging up.

"What happened?" Rin asked.

"My dad went to the moutnions and hasn't come down yet. Shura wants us to go look for him."

"Alright, let's go then." He said before we sneaked passed the exorcists again and started running to the monitions
