A couple weeks later...

Rin's P.O.V.

I'm all healed up, thanks to my demon healing, and I have to start my freshman year at True Cross Academy. I'm clearly bringing Kimi with me. After Mephisto picked me and Yukio up, he drove us over and to the school before we went to the entrance suramony, I followed Yukio to cram school. I had been carrying Kimi around all day in the holder. With a few brakes to feed her, or change her, or have Yukio hold her so I could use the bathroom. I only trust him to hold her right now. I was given a classroom key and special permission to have Kimi on campus and in school during school hours.

When we walked into class there was some people. I sat down as Yukio started to enrduce himself. After doing the temtant precagre. We all started to enrdue ourselves. There was Izmo, Paku, Shima, Ruji, Konekomaru, and two other weird people who didn't want to talk much. And I to of course had to enrdue myself. Then we just continued with Yukio's lesson. I sat there and took notes when I needed to and made sure Kimi wouldn't cry, I already fed her before class. I knew everyone , but Yukio, was wondering about Kimi.

After class was over, I put my stuff back in my bag and put it over my shoulders before following Yukio out of the class room. I did have my sword. When we got to he empty dorm and to our room, it seemed that Meshtio had gotten the room ready for Kimi. Because there was a crib next to my bed and a baby monitor or two. I got Kimi out of the holder before every carefully setting her in the crib. She just slept while I did Yukio's homework that he assigned.

"So, how was your first day?" He asked as he started to put his books on the shelfs from one of his boxes. He had taken off his exorcist coat and hung it up.

"Okay, I guess. I'm just tired from school and along with having to take care of Kimi. And I'm still getting used to not being alone in the woods. Like I was when I was pregnant. I'm just getting myself used to being around people and hopefully Kimi too."

"You know we could of asked Mephisto for a babysitter, to make things easier on you."

"Hell no. She's my baby. I can take care of her just fine."

"You're not very trusting right now. You need to work on that a little too. You barely trust me to just hold her for a few minutes."

"You know, it's probably demon instincts and horrible memories from that day."

"Probably mother instincts too. I still feel guilty about you having to go through all that pain by yourself."

"Hey, don't beat yourself up over it. It was my choice not to tell you or dad."

"I know, but we still should of picked up on something. We both have a doctor rank in exorcism. Something should of seemed unusual to us with you throwing up so much. And not think it was a stomachache or a demon illness."

"Well, you both never been around a pregnant person before. And I didn't have a boyfriend, so there wasn't any connections there. Just stop beating yourself up over it, you'll only be making yourself feel worse. We can't change the past, we can only hope and do better for the future." I said before he sighed.

"You're right." He said before Kimi started to cry. I shot up from my chair and ran over to the crib. Then I picked her up.

"Hey, baby girl. It's okay, everything's alright." I said as I bounced her a little and patted her back. She just rested her head and little arms against my shoulder and continued to cry. "You probably need to be changed and fed. Huh?" I said before turning to Yukio. Who was standing there and watching, just to see what I was doing. "Can you get my school bag? She needs to be changed again."

"Sure." He said before getting my bag, it was by the dorm room door along with our shoes. I sat on my bed before he put my bag next to me.

"You can go to the dorm kitchen and see if there's anything to eat. I'm hungry and I'm sure you are too."

"Alright." He said before going to the door.

"And don't cook. You can't cook something good for the life of you." I said as I patted Kimi's back gently.

"Yeah, I know!" He said before walking out and closing the door behind him. I got a small blanket out of the bag before setting it on the bed. Then I laid Kimi down on it, who was still crying, before undoing her onesie. After I changed her, she was still crying.

"You're hungry. Huh? Okay, let me get situated baby." I said before I moved the pillows against the wall before sitting against the pillows. I also took off my uniform jacket, tie, and white button up shirt. I also pulled up my binder. Then I picked her up and held her in my arms before getting the small blanket and covering my chest. She latched on and started to eat. I let out a sigh and put my other arm under her as she continued to eat. I could feel Kimi's little hands on my 'chest'. A couple minutes later, Yukio came back with a tray of food. Which was rice and fish.

"I got some food for you. I was going to get mine after I brought you some." He said before putting the tray on the bedside table.

"Thanks." I said before he left and closed the door behind him. After a few minutes, Kimi was done eating.

"You done, baby? I need to burp you." I said before getting her out of the blanket. And she rested her head and arms on my shoulder. I put the blanket over my other shoulder before putting Kimi there. Then I started to pat her back until she let out something similar to a burp. "There you, baby girl!" I said in a joyful voice. Even though I've been with her since she was born I still get happy over the littlest things she does.

"That's a full belly. Hopefully you'll sleep good tonight." I said before I stood up from the bed before gently and carefully setting her in the crib again. Then I pulled my binder down before I got the blanket from the bed and put it over Kimi. As I was covering her up and making sure she was tucked in, she grabbed my finger in her tiny hands. I hung over the crib and rested my arms on the crib as I smiled warmly down at her. She just looked up at me with her blue eyes as she started to suck on my finger. I was swaying my tail a little bit. Then Yukio walked in and I looked at him. He saw I was still just in my binder and pants.

"Uh, I ate downstairs to give you time to feed Kimi. I guess I'll go down and do my dishes to give you more time." He said before closing the door. That was awkward, not like we haven't had awkward moments in the pasted like that. When we were about 12 he walked into the bathroom on me, trying to use bandages from the first aid kit to press my breasts down by wrapping them around my chest. But it didn't work out to well. That time was awkward for both of us. I already had my hair cut sort and came out about feeling more like a boy at that point. This time, it was more awkward on his side then mine.

I sighed before getting Kimi to let go of my finger. I got my uniform button up shirt off my bed before putting it on. I hung up my jacket and put away my tie. Then I got my tray off the bedside table and sat on my bed before eating. It was easier to keep an eye on Kimi this way. My food was cold now, thanks to waiting on Kimi to get done eating. I wasn't mad at all, this is something I'm okay with since having Kimi. The sacrifices you make when you're a parent. Yukio did come back, but he knocked first this time.

"Are you decent?" He asked from behind the door.

"Yeah." I said before he walked in. "I was done so I was gonna take this to the kitchen and take a shower hopefully."

"Alright. What about Kimi?" He asked as I stood up with the tray.

"I giving you the chance to keep an eye in her. Not trusting, just a chance."

"Why?"

"You said I needed to work on that a little. So, I am. Don't mess it up." I said before walking out of the room with my tray. I walked to dorm kitchen before putting them in the sink. Then I went back to the dorm room to get pajamas, shampoo and body wash, and a sports bra. Because I need to give my chest a brake every night. Yukio was at his desk doing some work. I also got the baby monitors and turned them on and took one with me. I guess I am over protective, I do need to trust my brother more. But I can't help it.

I got to the bathroom and set my clothes down on the counter along with the baby monitor. I took off the rest of my uniform and binder before turning on the shower. I let out a relived sigh as the warm water went down my body and relax my muscles a little bit. Maybe I just need a little me time very now and then. Yukio is right about me needing to trust a little more with me being so protective of Kimi.

I had washed my hair and was about to start washing my body before I heard crying from the baby monitor. I pretty much jumped out of the shower and dried off a little. Then I threw my pajamas on, which was a blue t-shirt and grey sweatpants, and ran to the room. I got to mine and Yukio's room when the crying stopped. I walked in and saw Yukio laying on his bed on his back and Kimi on his chest. She was completely calm now and cuddled into his chest and uniform shirt and tie. Yukio of course looked at me when I came in.

"I heard her crying." I said as I started to catch my breath.

"How? The bathroom is far away from the dorm room." He said before I pointed to the baby monitor.

"I had the other be with me."

"Oh."

"Why did you put her on your chest?"

"Because you always did that when you were healing. And she seemed to calm down when she was on your chest. I tried the same thing and it worked."

"Okay, I'll go finish my shower now." I said before walking out of the room and closing the door. "I forgot to put on my underwear when she was crying."

"I didn't need to know that." He said.

"Well, now you do." I said before going back to the bathroom. He's my little brother and it's still my job to make fun of him and embarrass him. And sometimes confuse him. When I got back to the bathroom, I took off my pajamas and I got back in the shower before finishing up. When I was done, I turned off the water and stepped out before getting a towel and dried off. I put on my boxers and sports bra before putting on my pajamas again. I got the baby monitor before going back to the dorm room.

When I walked in, I put my clothes in the hamper and put the baby monitor on my desk. When I turn around I saw that Yukio had his tie over his shoulder now and had his eyes were closed. Kimi was still laying on his chest and he had his hands on her back. Which ended up in Kimi holding his thumb with her tiny hand, which was adorable. I walked over to him and started gently shake his shoulder.

"Yukio, wake up." I said in a whisper before he let out a small groan and opened his eyes. Then he looked at me. "Did you fall asleep?"

"Yeah, I guess." He said before yawning, and rubbing his eye with the hand that Kimi wasn't holding. "Pretty sure sleepiness is contagious."

"I think you're right." I said before yawning. I was about to say something else before Kimi let out a tiny yawn too. Which made both me and Yukio chuckle. "I'll get her off you. So, you could get in pajamas and go to bed."

"Alright." He said before I put my hands under her small arms and picked her up. I set her against my chest and she rested her head and arms on my shoulder, like always. I had an arm under her butt and my other hand on her back. I walked to her crib before Yukio got off his bed. He got his pajamas before going to the bathroom. I carefully set Kimi in the crib before covering her up with the blanket again. I cupped Kimi's cute chubby cheek as I smiled down at her. I also rubbed the tips of my fingers in her white turf of hair. And I leaned down and kissed her on the forehead.

Then I went to my bed and sat down. I was about to lay down when Yukio walked in with his pajamas on. Which was a green t-shirt and grey sweatpants. He had his uniform over his arm.

"Hey, can you turn off the light? Since you're right there." I said.

"Yeah." He said before turning off the light. I got under the covers as he put his dirty clothes in the hamper. But he put up his belt and tie. He laid down on his bed before putting his glasses and watch on his nightstand. He got under his covers as I was getting comfortable under mine.

"Good night. Sleep tight." I said in a tired voice.

"Good night." He responded in a tired voice. Then we both fell asleep.
