A couple days later...

Rin's P.O.V.

Me and Yukio were walking to the train station. I was carrying Kimi in my arms while having my backpack on. It had clothes and other needed things for the trip to Kyoto. Yukio was carring both of our duffel bags. We had gone back to the dorms for the night and packed before going to bed. Then we woke up early and got ready before leavening for the train station. As we were about to catch up with the rest of the class we saw a group exorcists. Whatever happened to Bon's dad must've of been serious if other exorcists besides family and us exwires had to come in.

"Hey, you two!" I heard form the group before I turned to look at the group. It was dad, he was talking with the other exorcists until he saw us. He was waving with his other hand on his hip. I smiled and waved back before he looked concerned. I looked at Yukio, who was looking down in front of him and looked stressed in an angry way. I shook his shoulder before he snapped out of it and looked at me.

"Hey, dad's coming too." I said as I pointed to dad in the group of exorcists. Then he waved at dad and kinda had a smile before dad waved back. But he still looked worried about Yukio. I know Yukio went on a mission the day before and had to come to Kyoto because he was the only one to make contact with the person. All I know is it was about the Impire King and left eye. Yukio didn't explain anymore and I didn't push him because he was stressed and I was getting tired for the night. I'm guessing he didn't get a goodnight's sleep either.

We boarded the train and I sat in the second front row, next to the window. Yukio said he was going to be in the cart in front of us and Shura was going to explain what was going on. Then he left before I noticed a Kyoto pamphlet in the pocket in the chair in front of me. I leaned over and picked it up before looking though it.

"Ah!" I heard Kimi say when I got to the page with the tower. I giggled at her.

"What? You like the tower, baby?" I said before she nuzzled into the middle of my chest. I rubbed her back before I heard someone. I looked up and saw Sheimi in the door way between the two carts. "Sheimi?"

"Uh, hi, Rin." She said nervously before sitting in the row of seats in front of me. Then Bon, Shima, and Konekomaru walk in from the same door way. They all said hi to Sheimi before seeing me when they walked by. Bon gave he a glare before sitting in the seats behind me.

"Hi, feeling better, Konekomaru?" I asked before he looked guilty or scared before sitting with Bon. His arm was now cased and in an arm sling. Shima looked at me and mouthed a sorry before sitting with Konekomaru and Bon. I felt sad after that, but least Shima didn't look scared or angry at me. I understand that he didn't want to lose his two best friends since childhood or be mean to me in the process either. I sighed before leaning back into the chair.

Then I heard someone sit next to me. I looked over and saw Izumo sitting in the seat next to the walk way.

"What do you want?" She asked in a rude tone.

"Uh, nothing." I said before I looked out the window. Then we all just sat there in silence before the train started moving and Shura walked in from the other cart.

"Okay listen up, I'm Shura Kirigakure. And I got forced into leading this mission. Hold the questions until I'm done with the run down. So, this morning someone sunk into the deep keep and staled the left eye of the Impure King. We know the thief wasn't working alone. He had help from an exorcist named Todo Saburota. As for why he helped or how many are involved, we don't know yet. In Kyoto as this was going on, someone tried to get into their deep keep. They were after the right eye of the Impure King. They failed this time, but we think they'll try again."

"Excuse me, ma'am, I don't know who this Impure King is. We haven't learned about him in class yet." Izumo said. I was thinking the same thing.

"That's because he's one of the lesser known demons. He's a demon that spread plunges in the old centuries. Thanks to him 40,000 people died from fever and disease. A priest took him down, and pulled out his eyes. To prove he did it, basically like a prize. The eyes give off a deadly toxin, so they're dangerous on their own when not together. So, even if we don't know what the enemy wants with them. We're pretty sure it's for something nasty. As long as the right eye is at Kyoto branch they'll attack again. The mission is help the wounded exorcists and be on grad incase they come back for the eye. And I expect all you exwires to help as well, even if it's chores. And lastly teamwork makes the dream work blah blah blah. Also please don't make extra work for me."

Then she sat in the seats behind and across from the boys and we continued our way to Kyoto. Kimi had fallen asleep and was drooling onto my shirt. Izumo wasn't paying any attention to me and it made me nervous.

"Um, why aren't you scared or mad at me like everyone else?" I asked.

"Me? Scared of you? That's silly. What because you're half human half demon? Because you fought Amaimon? Let me tell you, lots of people are half demon too. I know a few. In my opinion, the only reason people are scared of you is because you're related to Satan. And the Order is still wondering if having you on their side is a pro or a con. That's probably why the Order put you though the cram school and not killing you. They're probably making a big fuss over nothing. LIKE A SPECIAL SOMEONE IN OUR CLASS WHO I'M NOT GOING TO NAME." She said in a sarcastic tone for Bon to hear. Of course it made him mad.

"Are you trying to cheer me up? You are nice when you want to be." I said before she blushed.

"Huh? I am not being nice. I'm just pointing out how things actually are."

"Still, thank you, Izumo." I said before she blushed more from embarrassment.

"Please shut it. Some people are trying to get shut eye around here." Shura said in a tired voice before falling back asleep.

"Yeah, Kimi is trying to sleep to." I said as I rubbed Kimi's back.

"Whatever, you're all just a bunch of cowards." Izumo said.

"Alright lady, I had enough of your big mouth. Who you calling a coward?" Bon said as he stood up.

"What else should I call you?"

"Come on guys, this isn't the time." Shima said trying to stop another argument from happening.

"And can we stop this argument, we're supposed to be on the same team here." I said as I looked up at Bon.

"Team?" He repeated.

"Yes, what makes you not want to work with me?" I asked.

"How can I trust you after all your lies and hiding things from us? Sure, I'm okay with you being a half demon and your pronouns. But you also clearly don't trust us either. So, why should we trust you if you don't trust us?"

"I never asked you to trust me. I asked you to work with me." Then everyone started looking away from me. Except for Izumo, Shima, and the puppet guy.

"Sixteen years ago, the people in my temple were killed by blue flames like yours. That's right, your flames kill people!"

"Bon, stop..." Shima said trying to stop him again.

"No, Shima he needs to hear this." Bon said, basically ignoring him. "People like my grandpa, like Shima's grampa and oldest brother, and Konekomaru's parents. The followers at the temple are like family to me. So, how do you expect me to trust you after you killed my family?!"

"Look, I'm sorry you had to go though that. But the blue night wasn't me. Me and Yukio weren't even born yet." I said before he got even madder.

"Bon, just stop!" Shima said as he stood up and grabbed Bon's arm. Shura also put her sword in front of Bon.

"Girls stop. You want to know what happens when you fight on the job. You and lots of other people get killed just because you got your panties tangled up with some else. Exorcist can't fight alone. Like it or not you have to learn to get along and work together." Shura said before resting her sword on her shoulder. I know she said the first part in a joking manner, but it still hurt me.

"It's alright, I'm used to it." I said before standing up. I put my backpack back on before getting my duffel bag off the over hang.

"Rin..." Shima said before Izumo moved her legs for me to get out.

"I'm fine." I said before opening the door in front of the two carts. Where Yukio, dad, and other high rank exorcists were. I knew some of them noticed me walk in. I just quietly sat in the last row of seats, again sitting in the window seat. I set my duffle bag under the middle seat in front of me. Then I put my backpack under the seat in front of me. I sat down before Kimi started to move around and squeak in a way.

"You waking up, baby?" I whispered as I gently rubbed her back. So, I wouldn't ruin the meeting the other exorcists were having. She just laid her head on the other side before cuddling back into my shoulder. Then I sighed and leaned back into the chair. Hopefully I would be able to take a nap until we get to Kyoto.

"Hey, you okay?" I heard a familiar voice ask before I perked up. It was dad.

"Hey, sorry I just walked in." I said as I rubbed my eye.

"It's okay." He said as he sat in the middle seat, the seat next to me. "Did something happen in the other cart?"

"Yeah, you could say me and Ruji had a disagreement."

"So, a fight?"

"He was diffidently pushing my buttons for one. It ended up just being an argument."

"So, you came in here to get away from him?"

"In a way. I just needed to get away from all of the anger towards me."

"Is it all about the forest thing?" Yep, he would diffidently be informed about that fight.

"A little bit, but mostly it was about the blue night and them blaming it on me. Even though I wasn't born."

"Was everyone mad at you?"

"No, Shima tried to stop the fight multiple times and Izumo didn't care about anything."

"Well, not everyone hated you."

"You have no idea who any of the people I'm talking about are, do you?"

"Nope, but you probably need to talk to someone about it."

"Yeah, I did."

"Are you okay other wise?"

"Yeah, just really tired." I said as I leaned into my chair again and closed my eyes.

"Can I hold her?" He asked before I opened my eyes again. I look down at Kimi before sitting more up.

"Yeah, you can." I said before putting my hands under Kimi's arms. I lifted her up before giving her to dad. Once she was in his arms with her blanket, just cuddled into his shoulder.

"Do you want me to give you a brake from her? So, you could take a nap right quick?"

"Yeah, you probably want to spend time with her anyway. Because you don't get to see me and Yukio often and she's growing."

"Okay, I have to go back to the meeting if that's okay."

"Yeah, that's okay." I said before he stood up and carried Kimi with him to a different seat. I just closed my eyes and rested my head against my seat. I was starting to fall asleep before I thumbed my head against the window. But I was to sleepy to care, and I ended up taking a nap all the way to Kyoto with dad taking care of Kimi for me.
