A couple days later...

Rin's P.O.V.

I sat up as I woke up. Then I yawned before looking over at Yukio's bed. It was empty and made, so he must be awake. I got up before making my bed. Then I walked over to Kimi's crib. She was still asleep. I smiled at her before moving her blanket back over her because she had kicked it off her in the night. But she was still holding onto her little stuffed teddy bear that was just her size, that Mephisto gave her. She is basically being spoiled rotten, but she's adorable so it's okay.

I grabbed one of the baby monitors and put it on the hem of my sweatpants, before going downstairs to the cafeteria. Yukio was sitting at one of the tables, eating breakfast. He was in his day clothes. Which was a yellow and green shirt, tan shorts, and socks. I almost forgot it was summer. I didn't feel hot, yet.

"Good morning." I said as I walked in.

"Good morning." He responded. "Is Kimi not awake yet?"

"No, not yet. I'm going to let her sleep because if I woke her up she'll just be cranky later." I said as I fixed myself a bowel of cereal, which Yukio was eating too. I sat in front of Yukio and we talked a little as we ate our cereals. Then the sounds of a baby crying came from the baby monitor. I stood up before running to my and Yukio's dorm room.

"Good morning, sweetheart." I said as I opened the door. She seemed to stop crying at the sound of my voice. I walked over to her crib before she looked up at me and gave a toothless smile. She held her feet in her hands too.

"Oh, how are you this morning, sunshine?" I said as I picked her up with her blanket. "You seem happy. So, that's good." I said before kissing her on the head. She sort of just nuzzled into my neck and shoulder. Her little white tail wrapped around my finger of the hand I was using to hold up her butt. My other hand was on her back. I started to rub her back and sway a little bit as I hummed a song. Which seemed to keep her calm until she started to get a little restless and grab at my shirt. I held her tiny hand in my fingers.

"I know, baby. You need breakfast." I said before sitting on my bed. I put my pillow against the wall before setting Kimi's blanket down. Then I set her on it before pulling up my shirt. I took off my sports bra before picking Kimi back up. She was starting to get fussy. I put her blanket over her as she latched on. I just sat there as I rubbed her back a little.

After she got done, I got her out of the blanket and pulled my shirt down. I put the blanket over my shoulder, and was about to start trying to burp her, she let out a little burp.

"Well, there you go." I said before just holding her close to me. I like mornings like this, just clam, quiet, gentle warmth, and being with my baby. I never thought I'll be a parent at this age. No one does. But I love her so much and people are helping me out. Even though I don't want the help because I think I can take care of her on my own and I don't like to feel guilty for people feeling like they have to help me.

"Okay baby, I have to get dressed." I said before setting her on my bed. I made sure she was comfortable before standing up. Then I opened a drawer and pulled out my binder. I took off my pajama shirt and put it on. Then I closed the drawer before opening a different drawer and putting on a blue t-shirt and put that on. Then I closed the drawer and opened another drawer and took out some jean shorts. I took off my sweatpants before putting on the shorts.

"Oh okay, baby girl. Come on." I said as I picked Kimi up with her blanket. She rested against me before Yukio walked in. "Would it ever kill you to knock?"

"No."

"Then why don't you knock?" I said before he tried to come up with an answer. But I interrupted him. "It's okay. But seriously, start knocking."

"Okay, I just have to do some work."

"Alright." I said before Kimi started reaching for him. "Oh, looks like someone wants uncle Yuki."

"Please don't call me that."

"Shut up. She's little, she needs something easy to remember or catchy."

"Okay fine. Just don't call me Yuki again unless it's that."

"What? Only your girlfriend can call you Yuki?"

"Sheimi isn't my girlfriend." He said as he blushed.

"Yeah, sure." I said before he glared at me. I just laughed. "I'm just making fun of you. It's my job as your big brother to do that." I said before Kimi started crying lightly. "Man, she really wants you." I said before before handing her to him. And he took her. "Hold her like this." I said as help him hold her, so her head and arms were on his shoulder. She seemed to nuzzle into the crook of his neck like she did with me. It was cute.

"Okay, I still need to do work. Can you take her back?" He said after a couple minutes.

"Yeah, come here, baby girl." I said as I put my hands under her arms and went to pick her up. But she would pull on his shirt and start to cry. So, eventually I just let her stay with him and she calmed down. "I think she's sticking to you."

"What?"

"She loves you!" I teased him. But again when I teased him, he glared. "What? She does. Otherwise she wouldn't let me get her out of your arms. I think your stuck with her until she falls asleep." I said before he groaned. "But just hold her a couple minutes. Because since she's calm, I can figure out what clothes still fit her. So, I could get her dressed."

"Okay, just hurry up. I have lots of work that needs to get done. And today is one of the few off days I have this month." He responded as I walked to the drawer that had Kimi's clothes in it.

"Yeah, okay." I said as I started looking though the drawer for something light. Because it was summer and I don't want or need her to over heat. Specially since she's so young. I eventually found a little blue onesie that didn't have any sleeves or legs. I guess I had it incase there was as hot as it is to day or it was a gift and I haven't had her wear it yet.

I stood up and put it to Kimi's back, to see if it could fit. It looked like it could. So, I preyed a fussy and crying Kimi off Yukio and laid her down on my bed. Yukio went to sit at his desk as I unbuttoned Kimi's other onesie she wore to bed. Her crying just seemed to get louder. I got the onesie off her and put on the other one. Then I picked her up and stood up.

"Here, Yukio. She needs you in order to calm down." I said as I basically forced Yukio to hold Kimi.

"Okay." He said. I had him hold her with his left arm, so could use his right hand to work. Lucky he can use his both his hands equally well, unlike me. Kimi calmed down as she rested her head on his shoulder. She also had her hands on his shoulder too. I put my hand on my hip and sighed in relief. "What are doing today? Since you don't have any classes today."

"I'm going to do some laundry, chores, and finish up homework." I replied.

"Alright." He said before I got all our dirty clothes. Then I went to the laundry room and sorted from colors and whites. I put the colors in the washer and turned it on. I went to the bathroom afterwords and got the hamper of dirty towels and a couple of Kimi's blankets. I went and put the hamper in the laundry room before going to the cafeteria kitchen. I saw Yukio already put our dishes in the sink. I just put up the clean dishes that were in the dish washer from last night and put this morning's dishes in the dish washer.

I went back to the laundry room and put the colored clothes in the drier and put the whites in the washer, along with some bleach. I started both of them and went to sorting the towels and blankets. After that, I went back to the kitchen and cleaned it. Hey, you need a clean kitchen to make healthy food. Unless you want dust or something gross in your food. After I did that, I went back to the laundry room again and got the colored clothes out of the dryer and into the hamper. I put the whites in the dryer and put the towels in the washer.

Then I put the hamper on my hip and went to our dorm room and saw that Kimi was still cuddling Yukio as he worked. I sighed and smiled before sitting on my bed and started folding clothes. But as I was doing that, I got an idea. So, I got my phone off it's charger and night stand before opening the camera. I took a picture of Yukio and Kimi before Yukio looked at me.

"Did you just take a picture of me?" He asked.

"No." I said trying to hold back a laugh as I went to send it to Shiro. We have been texting and calling.

(A/N: Did you think Shiro was forgotten? Ha! No.)

"Rin..."

"What?"

"I know you took a picture of me."

"Okay fine I did. But only because Kimi was being cute with you."

"Just don't send it to anyone ."

"To late. I sent it to dad."

"What?!"

"It's my wallpaper too." I said before he just gave me a glare. "What? Are you photo shy?"

"I'm not. I just don't like to have my picture taken without knowing."

"Then you're photo shy." I said before he glared at me again. "Okay, fine. Is she asleep? I can get off you if she is."

"Yeah, I think she is." He said before I got off my bed. I walked over to him and got a sleeping Kimi off his shoulder. Then to him shaking his arm after I got Kimi, probably getting the blood to flow in his arm again. His arm was probably hurting from holding Kimi for so long. I gently laid Kimi down in her crib. After I got her in the crib, I immediately started feeling hotter.

"Did it just get 20 degrees hotter in here?" I said as I fanned myself.

"It is summer." Yukio replied as he stood up and opened the window in front of his desk. I went to my desk as he sat down. I opened the window in front of my desk before opening my school bag, that was on my desk. I got the hair clip out and put my bangs up. Then I went to go get the fans before going back to our dorm room. The old dorm didn't have air conditioning. But the house me, Yukio, and Shiro were in as he was rising us, didn't have air conditioning either. So, this is something we're used too. I plugged up one of the fans next to Kimi's crib before putting the other in-between the desks. Then I went back to folding laundry and I put them away in the proper drawers.

After I got with our laundry, I put the towels in the dryer and blankets in the washer. I sat at my desk to take a bit of a brake because that's where the fan was. I sweating like was running a marathon. I decided to start working on my homework like I planned.

"You know, you shouldn't of got in that fight, right?" Yukio said braking the silence I didn't know was there. I knew what fight he was talking about.

"And you know, you could of gotten killed if it wasn't for me."

"When I had told you to stay in that room for safety?"

"Yeah well, I care about your safety like I care Kimi's in a way. You're my little brother, we just protect each other. I'm not the lady in distress all the time. If I was, I wouldn't of tried to run away when exorcists came back to the forest for me."

"Me and dad were half those exorcists. We were looking for you because you ran away without a word. We were worried about you. Dad was pretty much depressed after you ran away. He thought he did something wrong and I did too. Which ended up in us thinking you didn't want to be with us anymore."

"That wasn't the case and you know that now. I felt like my child was in danger because of the Knights of the True Cross. Then again it was probably just my pregnancy hormones messing with my brain that running away was the only way. Instead of figuring it out with you and dad. Besides I was raped, that most definitely terrified me. Getting myself not to trust anyone, especially men. Including you and dad. I'm trying to get better about that, I really am. But you can't be up my butt all the time about it." I finished before we glared at each other for a few minutes. Then we leaned back in our chairs and sighed.

"It's been a long time since we had a fight, huh?" I said so it wouldn't be so quiet.

"Yeah..." He responded.

"I think it's this heat messing with us."

"Probably."

"I'm going to go for a walk to clear my head. You want anything while I'm out?" I said as I stood up out of my chair and pushed it in.

"Just some mineral water, please."

"Okay, please keep an eye on Kimi for me until I get back. I'll have my phone incase of an emergency." I said as I got my phone and wallet. I went to our dorm door and put on my flip flops. Then I walked out of our dormitory I just walked around a little bit before finding the student store on the school grounds. I walked in and got Yukio his mineral water. I was walking to the check out when I saw the ice pops were on sell. I decided to treat myself a little bit and since it was so hot outside, I got an ice pop. Then I went to check out.

"Find everything okay?" The cashier asked as I put my items down.

"I don't know, the water was pretty transparent." I joked before he chuckled and scanned my items.

"You need it in this heat."

"Yeah."

"How's that baby doing?"

"Huh?"

"The baby you always have with you. I figured they were yours. Since they look like you."

"Yeah, she's mine. She's doing okay. I got a fan on her because of this heat. My brother is looking after her until I get back."

"How is rooming with your brother?" They asked as they bagged the water and ice pop.

"It's okay. We shared a room growing up away so it's okay."

"Well, least you two get along."

"Yeah, I still get embarrassed went people ask me questions about being a teen parent."

"Hey, I've been working here a long time. I seen pregnant teenage girls. Not as much with their baby probably because the leave to take care of the baby. But most of the time since this is a school of rich kids, or just with teen parents in general, the parents usually have the girl put them up for adoption."

"Yeah, it's hard being a parent especially when you have school to worry about."

"Yeah, that's how it was with my son. Except I was working and not in school."

"Alright, well I better get back before something bad happens." I said as I got the plastic bag.

"Okay, have a good day!" They said as we waved goodbye to each other. I opened the ice pop and bit it like always do. As I started making my way to the dorm, I saw the gates to True Cross Academy. The ones that Kuro looked after. I decided to pay him a visit, I haven't seen that two-tailed-black-cat in awhile. I finished my ice pop and put the wrapper and stick in my back pocket as I got to the gate.

"Good afternoon, sirs!" I said to the officers. They just tipped their hats at me. I saw Kuro just standing looking. I could swear his back hairs were standing up. I whistled for him and he turned us head to look at me. Then he smiled as I waved at him and he jumped down before walking to me and sat on my knees.

"Hey, Rin!" He said as he got to me. He put his paws in my knees to be close to my height.

"Hey, Kuro." I said as he started to cuddle me against me and purr. I started to pet his back. Then all of a sudden he stopped, pulled away from me, and looked up at me. "What is it, Kuro?"

"You smell different, Rin." He replied.

"Well, having a child could of done that to me."

"What? You have a baby?" He said before I nodded. Then his face beemed. "I want see them! I want to see them!"

"Okay, you can. I don't know about today though. Because then there won't be a familiar looking after the gate. But I promise you'll get to see them."

"Okay! Is Shiro doing okay? I haven't seen him in a little while."

"Yeah, he's doing okay. He's probably busy with work and missions."

"What's in the bag? Is there something for me?" He asked as he started to nudge the plastic bag.

"No, there's nothing for you. It's just water for Yukio." I said before he basically had a pouty face. "But next time I see you, I'll make silver vine sake for you." I said before he had the biggest smile.

"Okay! I can't wait!" He said as he was basically jumping with joy.

"I have to go back now. The baby probably needs me and Yukio has no idea what to do."

"Okay, will I see you again?"

"Yes, you will." I said before standing up.

"Bye bye!" He said as he waved at me with his little paw. I waved back as stated walking away. Once I got to inside our dorm, I heard crying from the kitchen. I sighed before going to the kitchen. I saw Yukio carrying Kimi and she was just distressed. But he was trying everything he knew that I did to calm her down. Holding her close, rubbing her back gently, lightly bouncing her, and walking around.

"What happened?" I asked as I got to him. I didn't sound angry, I was use to this by now.

"She woke up and for a little bit she was happy and playful. Then she started crying. I figured she was hungry since it was a little bit since she ate. I fixed up her milk, since you showed me how. She ate it, but continued to cry afterwards. I don't know what to do right now."

"Here, I'll trade you." I said as I handed him the plastic bag with his mineral water. He gave me Kimi and I held her close and started doing the things he was doing to calm her down. Then I got an idea and held her up and sniffed her butt, before wiping my head away and scrunching up my nose. "I just figured out way she's crying."

"Oh, okay." He said before we went upstairs. I changed her diaper on my bed and she calmed down more. Then I put her on her back on the play mat. She just looked around and smiled. Yukio had already gotten back to his work. I got the rest of my homework and text books, before sitting next to Kimi's play mat. I finished up my homework and studied some more. Then I put Kimi in the holder and went to make lunch.

It was a pretty normal day for what's been going on lately.
