This is set when Kimi is only a couple days old...

Rin's P.O.V.

I was laying in bed with Kimi sleeping against my chest. She's so cute and tiny.

Knock. Knock. "Is anyone here?" I heard a deep male voice ask. I started to panic. I couldn't walk really well and I was in no poison to fight. How did they get pasted the demons? My only instinct was to grab Aoi's lifeless tiny body off the chair and my sword before crawling off the bed and got into the spot in the floor that was weak. I got under and moved the wood back over.

"Anyone there?" They asked louder. I only held Kimi and Aoi close to me with my sword in front of us. I swear I never prayed to god so hard. I could only hope they wouldn't find us or Kimi would start crying and give us away.

"We're coming in!" What are these guys police officers? Sure enough they started to bang down the door and eventually got it open, with it being old and worn down. I heard them take a couple steps in. I was hoping and praying to god with all I had when one person was standing right next to where I was hiding. I could tell there was a second person.

"No one seems to be here." Said one.

"Maybe they left and are coming back." Said the other.

"Should we still tell the Knights of the True Cross about this?" Shit. They're exorcists. Even worse.

"We do have to write a report. So, this place would be apart of it."

"Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. And we don't know when the person would be back. So, there isn't a point to be waiting."

"Yeah, you're right. We should go before it gets dark." They said before walking away and closed the door behind them. Kimi let out a little baby noise after the door closed.

"Shh-shhh." I said as I rubbed the back of her head and back. She only snuggled closer to me. I stayed down there awhile before getting out. I put Aoi back on the chair and put my sword next to the chair. I almost fell on the bed because I was losing my balance. I sat against the wall with Kimi in my arms. I needed to get us out of here.

The next day I started to pack up my backpack with clothes and other things I need. I needed to stay light weight. I put on my winter coat,, fingerless gloves, and scarf. It was early spring, so there was still some snow on the ground. I had Kimi in a holder against my chest and under my coat. I had my sword too. I buried Aoi before leaving the house. My walking still isn't good, but I need a head start before they come back here. If they do.

Meanwhile with Yukio and Shrio....

Shiro's P.O.V.

"You found a house in the woods?" I asked the two men.

"Yeah, it didn't seem to be in bad shape for how old it probably was. Someone was probably living there, but they weren't there when we were there." One of them explained.

"Could we go see it?" Yukio asked. He was right next to me.

"Why?" The other guy asked.

"We've been trying everything to find Rin." I said.

"Because he's the son of satan and needs to be in your super vision all the time?"

"No, because he's like my own son. And like any parent, I want to find him." I said.

"Fine but I don't think you'll really find anything."

"Least we tried when we go." Yukio said.

A few days later...

"This is the place." One of the guys said as we walked passed a tree and saw the house. We walked onto the porch before noticing the door was cracked. One guy pushed it open. There was some things moved around in spots. Like clothes on the floor, food missing from a basket, and the blanket on the bed seemed to be thrown off.

"It wasn't like this when we were last here." The other guy said. Me and Yukio walked in further before Yukio found something on the ground. He picked it up before just starring at it.

"What is it, Yukio?" I asked before he tuned to look at me.

"This is Rin's shirt." He said before showing me what he was holding. It was a blue sweatshirt and had a pink monster thing on the front. We both seen Rin wear this plenty of times, it was his.

"But how did he know we were possibly coming back?" A guy asked.

"Demons have super senses. He could probably feel that someone else was here when he came back." Yukio said.

"Or he was hiding." I said.

"What?" One guy said.

"What makes you say that?" The other asked.

"Look." I said before looking over near the bed and bending down. I picked up the wooden floorboard before standing it up next to me and turning to face them. "Perfect hiding spot, just Rin's size if he had his knees pulled to his chest. And his sword behind him." I said before putting the wood down.

"So, he heard us and hid?" A guy asked.

"Exactly. He's smarter then he looks or shows at times. Let's just try to find something else if we can." I said before we split up around the small house.

"Shiro?" Yukio called from outside after a few minutes. He was outside side with one of the guys. I was still inside thinking and the other guy was with me. "I think you may want to see this." He said before I walked outside and the guy I was with followed. I went where Yukio was and saw a small grave. It was just a pile of dirt and a wooden cross.

"Was this here last time?" I asked one of the guys.

"No." One of them answered.

"Should we dig it up?" Yukio asked.

"Most likely." I said before we got one the guys to dig up the grave. We didn't have a shovel so they had to use their hands. Once the hole was digged up, there was a blue blanket. I moved the blanket as the guy cleaned his hands off. Followed by us gasping. It was a small baby, navy blue hair, and pale skin. Rin's child. I stood up and walked away before running my fingers through my hair and had a tear or two run down my face. Yukio followed after me and put a hand on my back. He looked worried.

"God damnit." I said under my breath. "This is why he ran away? He was pregnant and ran away to protect his child. I thought he just had a bad stomachache with him throwing up. Or maybe a demon illness."

"That surely didn't work out because the baby didn't make it." One of the guys said as me and Yukio turned around to face them.

"Still though!" I said before taking a deep breath. Yukio was still wasn't saying anything. He was shaken up like me. "We don't know when they were born, most likely before you guys came. They look small enough to be a new born."

"If he gave birth and he ran off again, he can't get to far. He hasn't had time to heal. If he was well enough he probably would of fought us off." The other guy said.

"Probably true. You guys stay here and refill the grave. Yukio and I will go look for Rin. Come on, Yukio." I said as I started to walk away. Yukio nodded before following me.

"Won't you two need more exorcists to find him?" One of guys asked.

"No, like you said before. He can't be that far." I said as I continued to walk away with Yukio behind me.

Back to Rin....

Rin's P.O.V.

I've been getting away. I had to stop several times to rest and feed Kimi. A baby green men has been hanging around me and gave me food to eat. Just fruits or vegetables. They would also make tree roots for me and Kimi to sleep under at night. But he eventually had to leave.

Right now I was sitting against a tree. I was resting because I was getting tired and hurting. I know this wasn't the best idea, running away again before I had time to heal. Kimi was sleeping against my chest and I had my arms under her butt. She was still in the holder and I had fed her earlier. Then I heard footsteps. I moved so I was squatting, it hurt to do so. Their footsteps were getting closer. I was fighting rather if I should run now and give myself away, stay here and let them find me, or stay here and try to fight. I took my backpack off and made sure Kimi was hiding under my coat as the footsteps were getting closer. I had to make my choice now.

So, I stood up before I booked it.

"Hey!" I heard a familiar voice say. But I didn't care. My sword was hitting my back and I was making sure Kimi wasn't going to fall. I was starting to hurt again already, but I had to ignore it. I just had to lose who was behind me. But I had a cramp, fell to my knees, and caught myself on my hands. I tried to get up again when the person caught up to me. I looked behind me. It was Yukio, and Shiro had caught up to him when I looked behind.

I tried to get up, but groaned in pain before falling back onto my hands. I could tell Kimi was holding onto my shirt with her little hands. Shiro and Yukio weren't coming to get me at this point, just seeing what I was going to do. I tired to crawl away, but again I groaned in pain before putting my hand on my gut and falling over. But not enough for Kimi to touch the ground.

I still didn't learn my lesson because I tried to crawl away again and the same thing happened. Shiro took a few steps towards me as I started to panic. I tried to crawl away again and got a little further then the last few times, but the same thing happened again. Shiro kneeled next to me and I flamed up a little. It was only a low flame on my back, just to warn him off. I couldn't make a bigger flame with me hurting and getting tired.

He wasn't scared, even when I was using my demon eyes. My flame went down and he tried to hug me. But I dogged him and huddled myself on the ground. Just trying to protect Kimi with what I had left. Yukio kneeled on the other side of me and put his hand on my shoulder. My arms started to shake a little and I was getting more scared. They tried to help me sit up, but I wouldn't budge.

That is until Kimi made a noise. They both looked surprised. I just barely got to look at her with Shiro and Yukio there. She was probably about to cry. I held her closer to me, I didn't want them to get to her. I knew they figured out I was protecting something at this point, not just trying to get away.

"Rin, it's okay. We're not going to hurt them." Shiro said. I wasn't fully convinced, but I was getting weaker. I started to feel warm and light headed. They could probably see my face getting pale. I knew I couldn't fight or walk at this point.

"Rin, please...." Yukio said with the same sad and guilty look he had when we were kids. I couldn't say no to that almost innocent look. I eventually let them help me sit up. I was leaning against Yukio and had my arms around Kimi. Shiro went to hold her, but I flamed up like last time but on my arms and used my demon eyes. The flame was smaller and barely warm with me getting so weak.

"Rin, just this once you're going to have to trust me for a little bit. Once we get to the car, I'll give them back to you. And you can lay in bed with them all you want while you heal at home. Just this once." He said before I finally gave in. I moved my coat and scarf to reveal Kimi. I moved the arm holes of the holder and let Shiro pick her up and hold her. He also took my sword and put it over his shoulder.

Instead of Yukio helping me stand and walk to the car, he picked me up. Bridle style of all things. He had an arm under my back and his other arm was under my thighs. I leaned my head on his shoulder as I kept my arms on my torso.

"This is embarrassing, being carried by my little brother like this." I weakly said as he started walking.

"Be quiet. You need to save your energy." He said. As we continued to walk, Shiro stayed near me so I could keep an eye on Kimi. I almost fell sleep when we finally got to the car. Yukio put my feet on the ground and helped me in. Once I was in, Shiro handed me Kimi like he promised. She laid on my chest and let out a baby noise as she snuggled there. I weakly smiled as I weakly rubbed her back gently.

As we started to drive, I heard Yukio and Shiro talking about that two guys already left. Probably the two guys that found the house. I fell asleep on the way. And when I woke up, I felt Kimi start to grab at my chest. She was probably hungry again. I looked around, I was in mine and Yukio's old room and the sun was shining through the windows. I didn't have on my winter coat, fingerless gloves, scarf, or shoes. Kimi wasn't in the holder, she was just laying on my chest and stomach. I had my hands on her back which I don't remember putting on her, I probably did it in my sleep.

"You finally waking up?" Said a familiar voice. I looked to my right and saw Yukio siting on his bed. He didn't have on his exorcist coat or shoes.

"I guess..." I said as I looked back at Kimi. She was starting to get a little restless and grabbed at my chest more. She was kinda tugging at my shirt. I was going to say something when she started crying. Yukio got off his bed and went to help me. Because I tried to sit up but groaned in pain. "I just need to feed her." I said in a tired voice.

"Okay. Do you want me to hold her to make it easier to sit up?" He said as looked at me. Waiting for what I would say.

"Yeah. Could you get me a blanket first?" I said before he nodded and got me a blanket off the end of his bed and handed it to me. I put the blanket next to me before he picked up Kimi, she was still crying. I slowly and painfully sat up against the wall. I had Yukio give Kimi back too. Once she was in my arms again, I put her under the blanket and pulled up my shirt and binder before she stopped crying and latched on. Yukio was already sitting on his bed again to gave me a little space.

"Where's Shiro?" I asked.

"He's out for now, but coming back."

"Okay."

"Do you want some pain killers for the pain while you heal?"

"No, everything I consume goes to Kimi. I can't take something she can't have. It could hurt her."

"That's what you named her? Kimi?"

"Yeah, is it wrong?"

"No. It's a good name." He said before Kimi got done a few minutes later. She let go and I put my shirt and binder down before taking the blanket off of her head. She was sleeping against my chest now and I noticed she had some of my breastmilk on her chin. I gently whipped it away with my finger. She was holding my shirt in her little hand now.

"I know what you're gonna say, I'm an idiot for running away and giving birth before running off again. Not giving myself time to heal before doing so and probably hurting myself more." I said. He wasn't saying anything yet, just listening to what I was saying. "I just needed to protect her." I said with a sigh.

"I wasn't going to say that. Yes, it was idiotic, but you did it for a good reason. You felt your unborn child was in danger and got you and them out of the station. Even though I would have rather you had told me and Shiro. We probably would of stuck up for you against the Knights of the True Cross. If they let us make some sort of deal, you probably would of had your baby with hospital equipment and medicine. Not all alone in the forest." He said.

"You're probably right." I said before there was a sound of a door opening from inside the house. Then it closed before there was footsteps coming to the bedroom. It was Shiro. "Hey..." I said tiredly.

"You feeling better now?" He asked before I kinda shrugged my shoulders.

"Probably been better, but I'm okay."

"Is your baby okay?"

"Yeah, Kimi's okay. I just fed her. Where were you by the way?"

"I was at the Knights if the True Cross." He said before I wrapped my arms tighter around Kimi, protecting her. I even glared at him. "She's going to be okay. I only had to tell them that we found you and you also had a baby now. I was able to make a deal that they won't separate you two. Me and Yukio just have to see what you two do. But when you're all healed up, you have to start studying to become an exorcist, like you were going to do. And when she's old enough, she has to start studying as well. Not as young as Yukio though." He said before I relaxed a little.

"Okay, I guess it's to the worse thing." I said with a sigh.
