Ronin POV

Me: Kass. Please. Stop. SCREAMING!!!

Kass: Then don't go so fast!

I took one hand off and gestured.

Me: THIS IS THE HIGHWAY!!! IM SUPPOSED TO GO FAST!!!

Kass: I know that!

Me: Please, if you be quiet I will do anything you want at home! Just stop screaming cause it hurts my ears so MUCH!!!

To my surprise and horror she instantly shut up. Finally, I didnt have to hear her over the phone call, since we can't really talk normally through the helmets. I slowed down by five miles and started to change lanes from the carpool lanes.

Me: Hey Google, how close are we to exit 8A?

Google: You are currently .5 miles from exit 8A. Would you like directions?

Me: No.

It went away and the music turned back on.

We were coming up to the exit we needed to take and I turned on the signals to switch lanes. Kass seems to have gotten startled by this and clung to me rather tightly.

Me: Are you scared of heights?

I said over he call and after a little of silence she spoke.

Kass: A little.

Shit.

Me: Alright close your eyes and hold on tight.

I looked ahead at the decently steep and sighed. I got onto the exit ramp and ramped up the speed so that we could get this over with.

Me: Do not open your eyes Kass. You could kill us.

I'm not exaggerating. Its a 60 to 80 ft fall onto another part of the highway that is a much more active.

Kass: Dont joke with me right now!!

Me: Oh, how much I wish I was joking.

We were currently at the peak of this damn thing and I let go of the gas and got my hands ready on the brakes.

Me: Just stay calm Kass, nothing will happen.

I could feel her trembling and from how much she was pressing herself into me, you could tell she was terrified.

Kass: O-ok.

We started going down hill and I pressed the brakes of the back wheel first. I learned on a regular bicycle to never start with the front wheels. I slowly put more and more pressure on the brakes so that we weren't barreling down this 25-35 degree slope at over 100 mph. The wind whipped against the helmet and madenit hard to hear anything other than Kass' scsred breathes. I decided to scare her by letting go of the brakes near the base of the hill.

Kass: Are we done?

Me: Almost at the bottom.

She whimpered and I felt slightly guilty at what I was about to do, but whatever. About 20 ft from the beginning of the climb I let go of the brakes. We surged forward in near an instant and only a second later I heard Kass start to yell over the call. She pressed herself to me even tighter which was quite painful.

Me: K-kass. Y-your gonna crack a r-ib!

We were now on regular streets and only 10 minutes from home.

Kass: What was that for!!!

I laughed over the call but she squeezed me even harder and I slightly gagged.

Me: I'm s-sorry!

She squeezed even tighter and I could feel my ribs squish my lungs. When she finally let go I was light headed, so I pulled over the bike and shut it off.

Kass: You idiot!! Do you even know how sc- . . . was! . . . thin- . . .

And before I knew it. I blacked out.

???: He- . . . He- . . . Wa- . . . Wake . . . Wake up!!

I was startled awake and head butt whoever it was that was leaning over me.

Me: Where? What happened?

I was laid back down on a . . . car seat, by this guy with piercings through his nose, ears, and lips.

???: Hey . . . -e- . . . hey, take it - . . . - now- . . . - woke up.

I felt a bump and looked to my side to realize we were moving.

Me: Where are we going?! Who are you?! Where is Kass?!?!

Kass: Ro'!

She looked back from the passenger seat.

Me: Kass!

Without seconds thought I turned to the guy again and headbutt him as hard as I could. His head rocketed back and he slouched in his seat, out cold. I un-bunckled my seat belt and placed myself behind the driver seat before placing my, now extended, claws on the driver's neck.

Me: I don't know who you are or what you intended on doing but I can assure you. I will make you regret it.

Kass: RONIN O'BRIAN!!! STOP THAT THIS INSTANT!!!

I turned to her anger filled face glaring at me.

Me: Wha- but Kass they're-

Kass: They are my sister and her boyfriend!!!

She pulled my hand away and I was sat there dumbstruck.

Me: Wait but - why did?

Kass' sister: Did my sis give you brain damage? God damn.

She said in a joking way. I retracted my claws and tried to comprehend what the hell just happened. They must've seen how much I was struggling to understand because they both sighed.

Kass: We'll explain later.

The car stopped and we were at the curb of my, well our, home. I tapped Kass on the shoulder to get he attention and whispered.

Me: Does she know?

Her eyes widened and instantly became full of fear. I was in the middle of questioning why before a hand gripped my shoulder.

Kass' sister: Do I know about what?

She said oh so sweetly that it was terrifying.

???: Ah shit. What the hell did you do?

The boyfriend said, sitting up and clutching his head.

Boyfriend: Also, you've got a thick skull, that shit hurt.

Kass' sister: Ty! Are you ok? Are you any more stupid than you were before?

Ty? Rolled his eyes but responded either way.

Ty: Yeah, I'm fine. Just a headache. By the way, why are we stopped?

Me: Ah, well about that. This is where I live.

He looked outside and said.

Ty: Alright I think I'm hallucinating so Imma go to sleep.

Before passing out.

Kass' sister: So, even though mom lives just down two blocks. You decided to live with him?!

Kass: Yup!

While Kass was getting berated by her sister, I decided to lay Ty down on the couch. When I finished that, I went to get an gell pack from the refrigerator. That was, until I was grabbed by the shoulder again. I looked up to see Kass' sister's eyes boar into mine.

Kass' sister: Listen to me and listen well kid. You do amything to her, I will cut your throat. And don't even think about anything perverted.

She growled out before going on a full on rant and breaking eye contact. She said a lot, but I didnt listen I was laughing hard on the inside. So much so, I had a tear roll down my cheek.

Kass: Sis let him go! He's crying!!

She looked down at me mid rant and noticed I was before letting me go. To which I fell to the floor dying of laughter and finally releasing it. It took them 5 minutes to get me to stop before she asked.

Kass' sister: What was so funny punk?

I wheezed.

Me: M-me? Pervert? You gotta be joking.

I turned to Kass.

Me: Have you told her anything?

Kass' sister: Told me what?

She said with a very weak primal growl.

Me: First of all, don't growl. Kinda offensive, and if you do growl, don't make it sound so weak and frail. Do it like this.

I took out my tails and ears before doing a more guttural, deep, rumbling growl.

Me: Secondly, she. Is the pervert.

I stated whilst gesturing to Kass.

Me: She thought wearing a revealing bikini was a way to apologize for something.

Kass' sister's eyes went wide and she stared at Kass in shock.

Me: And even more shockingly. This socially shy muffin, came onto ME, in the shower. SHE did, not me. This women is an A grade pervert.

I walked towards Kass and rested my head on top of hers.

Me: And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I kissed the top of her head and she covered her face with her hands. Her sister was dumbfounded.

Kass' sister: Tha-thats not possible! She is the shyest person on the planet!!!

???: Oh but that isnt true honey.

Kass' mom was in the doorway from the living room to the kitchen.

Ms. Adler: I've caught her trying to do stuff to him. Hell, my little devil has tried to do it when I was around.

Her mom looked towards Kass before saying.

Ms Adler: Under a glass table? Really?

Kass: MOM!!

Needless to say. Kass' sis was confused.
