Part 3 Angry young girl

Arnav got settled in the new house. There is nothing to shift as he had nothing. He came with his suitcase and bag from Canada. Though he cooks well he didn't bring any things from Canada. He decided to buy everything in India after getting a house. As of now, his concentration was on his new company. The biggest problem of the STAFF issue got cleared. The girl who gave him a solution to the staff issue didn't even give him a chance to thank her. He sighed.

Aman Mathur received a call from Mr. Sethy.

"Good evening sir," Aman said smilingly.

"How are you, Aman?"

"Fine sir," he said slowly.

"Why are you sounding now?"

"Nothing sir"

"I know Aman... you are worried about losing the job, right?"

"Why won't I be, sir? Have to start from the beginning again."

"No need... you don't have to start from the beginning. You are going to continue..."

"Sir... I didn't get you"

"The new CEO of OUR... correction... YOUR company has been decided to continue with the old staff, Aman" Mr. Sethy said.

He didn't get an answer from Aman as he became numb.

"Aman... are you there?"

"Sir... is it true?"

"Yes... he himself told me..." Mr. Sethy said happily.

"I can't believe this, sir"

"Believe..."

"This is news, sir..."

"Keep going... I want you to be with Arnav just like how you were with me"

They disconnected the call. Aman was happy and relieved. He doesn't have to find a new job anymore... he doesn't want to lose the experience he got in Macro Software. He came out of his room, searching for his mother Sara.

"Maa..."

"What's the matter, Aman? You sound happy?"

"I have not even started talking yet... you have found my happiness," Aman said.

Sara chuckled.

"Tell me what the matter is"

"Our new Boss has been decided to continue with the old staff it seems," Aman said happily.

"Really?" Sara asked delightedly.

Aman's father who just entered the house heard it.

"That means what he said is true..." he said.

"About whom you are talking?" Sara asked.

"I met his new Boss yesterday. He told us his decision"

"Whaaaat? Did you meet our new Boss?" Aman asked.

"Yes... he said he is going to continue with the old staff. I thought he is building up the story to save himself from us"

"I didn't get you, Papa"

His father Suman Mathur told him about his meeting with Arnav.

"Is it?" Aman asked unbelievably.

"Yes, he looked very simple. It thought he is lying"

"Is Arnav his name?" Aman asked.

"Yes... Arnav his name... I saw it in the Email he showed to us" Suman said.

"I can't believe he even takes a decision going with a girl's words"

"Do you think he can be manipulated easily?"

"No, I didn't think so..."

"Yeah... you should not go with someone's words... judge him by yourself"

Aman nodded yes.

The next day

Arnav started working for his new company. He is going to meet the staff of the company today. He wants to talk to the crew before taking over the company because he knew none of them. Before starting the work in the company, he wanted to mingle with them... wanted to understand their potential. So, he called the manager of the company Aman Mathur. He attended the call.

"Aman Mathur, Manager, Macro Software..." Aman said on the other side.

"This is Arnav... the new CEO of your company"

Aman straightened himself, hearing that.

"Good Morning, Sir. This is Aman Mathur..."

"Good morning, Aman."

"What can I do for you, Sir?"

"I would like to meet our company's crew... I mean the head of the departments of our company...

"Sure, sir... I will arrange for it. When will you come, sir?"

"I will be there at 3'o clock"

"Ok, sir... we will be waiting for you"

"Thank you"

"You are welcome sir"

Arnav was about to disconnect the call,

"Thank you, sir..."

"For?"

"For deciding to continue with us..."

"mmm... we will talk about everything in the evening"

"Sure sir"

They disconnected the call.

Aman gathered the crew in his cabin. Heads of all the departments, including the old CEO's PA.

"Yes, Aman..." Infrastructure head NandKishor asked.

"I have good news for you, guys," Aman said.

"What's that Aman?" Marketing head Akash asked.

"Our new Boss is going to continue with us..."

"Really?" IT service head Lavanya asked joyfully.

"Yes... this is a second chance for us to prove ourselves. We should use it in a right way. We should not disappoint our new Boss" Aman said.

"How does he look like?" HR head Sheetal asked.

"What an important question..." NK said sarcastically.

"Keep your concentration on work instead of something," Lavanya said.

Sheetal rolled her eyes.

"Are you happy Khushi?" Lavanya asked.

Khushi nodded yes.

"That's all your reaction is?" Lavanya sighed.

"Don't you know her? She will lose one crore if she talks..." Sheetal mocked.

"Shut up... when you know about her, why do you bother about her?"

"So what if she talks with us openly? Will we eat her or what?" Sheetal asked.

"She talks to me openly..." Lavanya said.

"Oh really? Tell me about her family"

Lavanya rolled her eyes.

"You know nothing... no one knows..." Sheetal said wearily.

"What will you do knowing about her?" Lavanya asked.

Sheetal murmured something that was inaudible.

"Ask me about office work. I will answer..." Khushi said.

"I don't know how Mr. Sethy managed to work with you"

"He won't poke his nose in unwanted matters," Lavanya said.

"Why are you getting tensed if I ask her anything?" Sheetal asked Lavanya tiredly.

Aman, NK, and Akash looked at one another miserably. Sheetal is always poked her nose into others' matters rightfully.

"Aman is waiting for us... he is talking about a very important matter. You are so keen to talk about my personal matter... disgusting" Khushi said.

"Guys, our new CEO will be here at 3o' clock. Get ready to meet him" Aman said.

"Yeah... we will be ready," Akash said.

They left Aman's cabin. When they came out,

"Khushi... why are you veiling your personal matter so much?" Lavanya asked.

Khushi looked at her silently.

"until you keep it secret, everyone will be interested to know about it."

"I'm sorry Lavanya... there are many things to know than my personal matter I suppose"

Lavanya sighed.

"Just answer me one question. I won't ask you anything more than that" Sheetal said.

Khushi looked at her sharply.

"Tell me, where is your husband. Why did you guys get separated?"

Khushi left the place without answering.

"Why do you want to know about her husband? Why are you always behind her? Can't you just leave her peacefully?" Lavanya asked.

"So what if she says about her husband?"

Lavanya rolled her eyes and left the place.

"I will surely find it..." Sheetal murmured as she is the girl who always wants to know about others.

It was 2:30 pm. Someone knocked on Aman's cabin.

"Come in..." Said Aman.

He saw a young handsome man entering. Aman frowned at him.

"I'm Arnav... your new CEO" Arnav extended his hand towards Aman.

Aman identified his voice.

"Good afternoon, sir" Aman shook hands with him, getting up from the seat.

"Please, take your seat, sir."

Aman dialed someone and asked him to bring juice for Arnav.

"I will arrange the hall, sir"

"Yeah..."

Arnav was about to sit; through the glass door, he saw someone crossing Aman's cabin. His eyes widened, seeing the person.

"One minute, Aman"

"Yes, sir"

"Who is she?"

Aman looked in the direction.

"She is the one who is going to be your PA, sir. Her name is Khushi"

Arnav smirked. She is none other than the same girl he met in the restaurant. He remembered Sethy telling about his PA Khushi. So, she is Khushi... That day in the restaurant, she talked about his company only it seems... let's see, what she does, knowing him is her BOSS. Optimistic, angry young girl... He chuckled.
