Veer told Bani everything from his Dad's blackmail to him agreeing.

V: So, long story short. I need to marry you to stop my dad from selling my late mom's company.

Veer hope to explained everything to Bani as to why he had to marry her. He did not want her to have any false hopes. Bani was quite all this while. She had initially thought of Veer as someone who had objectified her but now she knew that he had been pushed into this, like her.

Veer thought it must have broken her heart. She is a girl who would have thought highly about her marriage. She would have been so glad when she heard she had bagged someone like him. After all, he is the 'most wanted munda'. Unknowingly, Bani burst his tiny ego bubble.

B: I am forced into this too.

V: what? 

B: you deaf?

V: I mean you don't want to marry ME?

B: not out of my free will.

V: wow! Why?

B: you are so concieted.

She rolled her eyes.

V: Hey! am not. Usually girls chase me. I am shocked as its unusal. That's all.

B: I get it, you are good looking but I wouldn't want to marry someone I don't know if I had a choice.

V: So, you think I look good?

B: That is all you heard? anyways, I am just being honest.

She shrugged and Veer was amazed at how blunt she was. She wasn't flirting. Veer thought it was quite charming.

V: so, I got us a deal.

B: what deal?

V: You don't want this, I don't either. But we are both getting forced. So how about we go with the flow and then after I get my company, we can get seperated.

B: Won't your father find that fishy?

V: I don't care but I get it. We will do that after a few months then. Apply for annulment....

B: Deal!

V: wait? You didn't ask how it would benefit you? What do you want out of this...you can tell me..I can give you money. What are they blackmailing you with?

B: That doesn't matter. See, you will get your mom's company and as for me, I am glad to know that even when I am forced to marry, I will not be forced to live that marriage and will be able to walk away eventually.

Veer was pleasantly surprised for the second time that day. She honestly was something else. Any other woman would have accepted his offer for money or emotionally blackmailed him to stick to her.

V: Deal

He said as he shook her soft hands with his large ones. He honestly couldn't have found a better partner arranged for him. She made everything so convenient. Now, maybe this whole ordeal wouldn't be as torture-some as he thought it would be.

Also, this book won't get another update till around 21 Feb. I have to tend to a personal matter and won't be able to write. 🙏🙏
