Veer woke up the next morning to a very beautiful sight. His wife, in his bed, wearing his shirt; is a sight that melts even the toughest of hearts. He slowly rose out of bed and got fresh. Bani woke up a while later. She observed her surroundings and recalled how sweet Veer had been to her last night and smiled. She closed her eyes and prayed to god, thanking him for this day. She opened them again when she heard Veer enter the room. He looked really handsome in his dark grey t-shirt and pants. Well, who was Bani kidding? Her husband could literally wear a potato sack and rock the look.

V: Good morning Gharwali. Slept well?

B: Good morning Veeranshu. Yes. Did you?

V: Best night's sleep in a long long time sweetheart.

He gave her a heart melting smile and kept a tray of breakfast on bed and went on to bring a small, breakfast table. He set it up on the bed while Bani brushed her teeth and came back.

B: Thank you, but why this?

V: I wanted to welcome you into the first morning of our new life together.

B: You are so sweet Veer.

After breakfast and small talks, both got ready. Bani was wearing a red saree and Veer wore a black Indian kurta-pyajama with red stripe on the hand. They both sat in the car and left towards the Singhania mansion. Everyone had left early to be at home to welcome the new bride.

The car pulled in front of the Singhania mansion and Bani studied her new home in awe. It was beautifully decorated with flower garlands. A board was set which read 'Welcome home Bhabhi' Veer picked Bani up in his arms.

B: Veeranshu? Koi dekh lega..

V: shhh...Your first steps into our home have to be in your husband's arms okay...traditions love.

B: Those are foreign traditions..

V: well, I like them tso suck it up!

Bani chuckled as Veer walked the front yard with her in his arms. He set her down when they reached the main house door as he knew she will get shy in front of all. If it was just family, Veer wouldn't have cared because vo jitni jldi Veer ke PDA ki adat daal le, utna accha hai. But, there were other relatives as well and he did not want Bani to feel embarrassed.

Bani entered the house and Chandrakala did the pooja. Bani lightly kicked the rice-kalash and entered her new home with kum-kum clad feet. Everyone cheered and blessed the couple. Soon, a string of fun rituals began.

First, Veer was asked to push plates around and Bani was asked to collect them without sound. Veer tried to not move them too much and even helped her.

D: Bhai...ye cheating hai?

V: Kya cheating hai? Waise iska mtlb kya hai...

R: Damad ji, isse pata chalta hai ki biwi apne pati ki koi bhi baat kitna acche se sambhal legi, bina koi shor tamasha kiye..

V: To Bani ko sambhalna pade, aisa kaam mai karunga hi nahi and life ke saare tamashe hum sath me handle karenge. Isliye Daksh, me helping her is okay.

Bani smiled at his words. Later, they were made to sit in front of a large bowl with white water and rose petals. Inside it, Mayuri and Meera put a ring and asked them to find it. Whosoever found it first, would rule the relationship. Tapish and Daksh cheered Bani while Ponky and Meera cheered Veer.

Mayuri: Koi bhi jeete, we all know how whipped Veer is and kiski chalegi...

All laughed. Bani and Veer were still searching when Bani felt Veer make her wear something in the water. Her eyes widened as she realized he found the ring and made her wear it. He pulled his hand out of the water while holding hers.

D: Dekho! Bhabhi won!

P: arey pr pehnayi bhai ne na...bhai won..

Veer kissed the top of her hand.

Bani: we won.

Everyone clapped and Vani engaged in conversation with everyone. Bani was standing talking to a guests when someone tapped her shoulders. She turned.

B: Tum dono?

Mahek: kyu? Hum tumse baat nahi kr sakti?

B: nahi aisa nahi hai...

Dehek: rehne do...hume pata hai kaisa hai...humari mom ne aapko acche se treat nahi kiya na and we were also never kind to you..

B: nahi vo...

M: Bani di...please...don't cover up. We both always saw you as a helper because mom told us ki we were raising you. Initially we imitated mom as she treated you and later, it just became habit.

B: Ye sb poorani baaten hai...

D: We know it doesn't matter now but ab jb aap ghar se jaa rahi hai, nayi zindagi shuru kr rahi ho, Hum chahte they ki koi bhi karwahat na rakhe..ho skte to forgive us for not being good to you...We wish aap khush raho, you deserve it...all the best for your new life di...

Bani became slightly emotional and hugged the girls. Soon, the guests and Sharmas left. Chandrakala took Bani into the kitchen for her first rasoi and instructed a staff member to help her if needed.

Chandini: Bhua! Kb se dekh rahi hoon...aap us Bani ka welcome kaise kr sakti hai....aur ab ye rasam..that should be me!

C: Chandini...tujhe pehle sochna tha...ab to Veer ki shadi ho gayi hai isse so let them both be now. And meri kya dushmani hai isse jo mai isse kuch bhi kahun...is ghar ki bahu hai and I am just doing my duty...tu beech me mt pad.

Chandini pouted and left fuming. That afternoon, Bani served gajar ka halwa as dessert.

V: yum gharwali....mn kr raha hai cook ke haath choom lo...oh wait...vo to tum hi ho...

P: Bhai...accha toh hume bhi laga hai halwa...hum bhi choom le...hath..

V: Oye!

P: sorry bhai...joke tha...

V: Am I laughing?

B: Veer jaane do na..

Balwant and Chandrakala gave Bani a choker necklace as gift of her first rasoi. Bani thanked them. They informed her to get ready for the reception that evening.

Later that evening, Veer was talking to Tapish who arrived with Meera. The rest of the family were arriving separately and would come soon. A lot of guests came. There were many business related guests also present. All were shocked that the Singhania heir was suddenly married. Veer kept glancing at the staircase. He had asked Bani to get dressed in a western gown that day and sent some designers with designs he liked. He was getting impatient to see what Bani picked and how she would look in it.

Meera: Oh wow..

Ritu: (who had just entered) Hello Damad ji...(looks up) ek dum pari lag rahi hai...uhem ..mltb thik hai...

All guests began murmuring but Veer didn't have time to hear anyone else. He grasped her delicate hands and kissed the top of it.

V: You look magical gharwali..

B: So do you gharwale..

The guests kept gushing at how beautiful the Singhania bahu was and at the same time wanted to know more about her as they had never seen her at parties. They were curious to know about this girl who popped out of nowhere. Many were surprised to know that she is a simpleton but a look at Veer was enough for everyone to realize that he absolutely worshipped the ground she walked on and they dare not enrage him by saying anything about her.

Veer and Bani danced for a while and spoke to a lot of guests. Veer never left her side as he knew she was new to these people and he didn't want her to feel lost, even for a second. Daksh and Ponky raised a toast to their new bhabhi and Bani felt really loved and cared for.

Balwant came forward and announced Veer's take over on AV industries. Bani squeezed Veer's hands, she knew what this meant to him. Everyone congratulated the them and the crowd broke into claps when a voice was heard.
