Bani sat by the calm waters to sooth the storm inside her own. She clutched the jacket in her hands and continued to talk to her parents near the lake where she had last seen them. She doesn't recall much but this place is where she lost them and also a place where she found herself whenever she felt lost.

B: Maa, papa...mai kya karu...Dost? (she looked at the jacket and recalled how her first friend, a kind stranger had offered her his jacket)

Bani continued to sob.

B: Mujhe laga Veer mujhe pasand krne laga hai....Arrange marriage hai lekin vo khush hai isse... nahi bhi tha to mai konsa zabardasti krti...mujhe khud bhi toh bol skta tha..aur waise bhi six months baad to hum alag ho hi jate...

Suddenly Bani frowned, she recalled Mayuri said that Bani's decision to marry him will ruin the lives forever but Veer and her had a six month deal so why did she talk about it terms of forever? If Mayuri was his girlfriend, why did Veer say nothing? He never flirted with others in front of Bani but why would he flirt with her at all if he had a woman in his life! He wasn't like that, Bani knew it in her heart. Moreover, if Mayuri knew so much about Veer, how did she not know about the deal? Bani felt something was fishy and decided to go home.

Veer was sitting, his face in his hands when he realized something was odd. He asked Tapish to play the video again.

T: Jis cheez se taklif ho rahi hai usse baar baar kyu dekhna hai tujhe?

V: Bhai play kro please.

Tapish asked the guards to play.

V: bs..yahan pause karo...

Tapish paused and Veer studied the video and then at his watch.

V: Tapish bhai, ye exactly vo time hai jb mai Bani ko lekr jungle gaya tha, I remember it because jb mai Bani ko lekr jungle jaa raha tha us time humare automatic sprinklers backyard me start ho rahe they...mtlb 2 baja hoga and yahan Bani 2:15 pr ghar se bahar jaa rahi hai jbki she should have been with me. And when I confessed, she was wearing her haldi attire toh room se bag lekr, change krke to she cannot leave at this time...things are not adding up yrr...

Tapish and Donky were also very confused when Mayuri came inside and hugged Veer.

V: Mayuri kya hai? Please abhi mai bohot pareshan hoon..

M: Arey tumhari pareshani ko hi bhaga ke aa rahi hoon mai..

V: what?

Mayuri told Veer how she took Bani to the terrace and made her think that Veer and Mayuri were a couple. Everyone's eyes widened in realization. Veer pushed Mayuri off him.

V: Kyu Mayuri? Why?

M: Because..Wait! why aren't you happy Veer?

V: You robbed me off something I hold so dear and pooch rahi ho ki mai sad kyu hoon? happy kyu nahi ho? Tumse kisne kaha ki mai forced hoon?

M: Chandini ne..

Mayuri was shocked to see the expression on Veer. He looked angry and worried at the same time. He was shivering at the thought of having lost Bani and Mayuri felt guilty. Veer left in a hurry.

T: Mai iske saath jaata hoon. Ho skta hai jisse Mayuri ne baat ki vo real Bani ho ya phir na ho....pr mujhe lagta hai jisse Veer ne baat ki, vo galat Bani thi...anyways, ye do do Bani ka kya chaakr hai, tum dono pata karo.

Daksh and Ponky nodded and left towards the jungle while Tapish went after Veer.

Veer was flying high, circling the area when he spotted Bani. Relief flooded him and he started to move down when Tapish stopped him. His vulture roop had been tailing Veer. He called at Veer to go as human because chances are Bani wasn't the one who heard his confession. Veer nodded and landed a few meters away and took his human form. He went towards Bani cautiously while Tapish left.

Bani was trying to call for a cab when she saw Veer. Without second thought she rushed into his arms. A truckload of emotions hit Veer as his brain froze. He wasn't sure if he should hug her back or not. Both of them were feeling vulnerable, the thought of having lost each other made them realize the depth of their feelings.

B: I am so sorry Veeranshu...Mai mayuri ki baaton me aa gayi thi...mujhe abhi realize hua ki things didn't add up. I don't know usne aisa kyu kaha..

V: Pr don't you trust me? Aise bina bole bhaag gayi..

B: Bhaggi nahi thi Veer...mn shant krne aayi thi...mai anyways wapis aati aur tumhare mu se sune bina kahin nahi jati...

Veer smiled when his eyes fell on the jacket in her hands. It looked small and old.

V: Ye kya hai Bani..

B: (smiles)...ye? ye mere first friend ki jacket hai...

She told him the story of how a kind stranger gave this to her the day she lost her parents. Since then she kept this jacket and spoke to him through it about things she wanted to keep a secret from others. Veer felt strange and he took the jacket and with shaking hands turning it inside out. A lable stuck out : VS 🦅

B: VS? And what is this logo?

V: Veeranshu Singhania (he says with tears in his eyes)

Bani' eyes widened in shock. They both got lost in the events of that day.

Flashback

A car was getting pulled out of the lake. Police, ambulance, people- there was a lot of crowd but amidst all that veer noticed a small girl sobbing. Bani was sitting on a milestone near the road and shivering. Veer headed towards her and made her wear the jacket he was wearing. Bani looked up.

V: Tum ro kyu rahi ho?

B: Mere mummy papa they us car me. Achanak pata nahi kya hua, mummy ne mujhe bahar fenk diya aur car pani me chali gayi....(sobs) vo thik to honge na.

V: Tum brave raho okay? Mai apne papa ko bula kr lata hoon...

Flashback ends

Bani and Veer hug each other. Bani sobs for having found her kind stranger.

B: Vo tum they...you Veer...tumne tb bhi mujhe help ki...you don't know tumhari is jacket ne meri kitni help ki hai...bachpan me jb bohot thand lgti thi na toh mai isse pehen kr so jati thi. Jb gussa ata toh to isse sb bol deti thi...khush hoti to isse cuddle krti thi....you have always been with me without my knowledge...(sobs)

V: Bani...I can't tell you how happy I feel to know it was you. I sometimes used to wonder what happened of that little girl. I can't believe we have such a connection and I am sorry you went through so much as a child.

They hugged.

V: Bani, isse pehle koi aur misunderstanding ho, I want to tell you something....you see this logo on the jacket (pointing at the kite), I will tell you why...

Bani nodded and Veer closed his eyes and calmed himself down. Slowly, he opened his golden eyes and spread his wings. He flew a little bit and then took his full cheel form and then landed back as himself.

Bani stared at him with an expressionless face. Veer starts to sweat, hoping that the morning incidents don't repeat.

V: Bani, kuch toh bolo...your silence is killing me..

B: You are my Cheelu...aren't you?

Veer was shocked and then Bani gave him a heart warming smile and rushed into his arms. She hugged him close.

B: Oh my god! Tum mere cheelu ho!!!....tbhi mai sochu...tumhari entry ke saath saath hi uss cheel ki entry hui hai meri life me...

Relief surged through Veer as Bani kept on hugging him and talking casually.

V: You are not running away? You are not scared?

B: Depends? Should I be scared?

V: Never of me.

B: I am not. I trust you cheelu...That doesn't not mean I don't have questions. I am confused and I have questions.

V: Ask away sweetheart..

B: Not now, we'll be late for our wedding otherwise..

Veer beamed and went with her. She asked if he was called something different. He told her he was an icchadhari Cheel.

B: Veer I do want to know all about this side of you but I have something to confess...

V: Bolo Bani..

B: Today, I thought for a while that I lost you...It made me realize I don't want to..

V: (happy surprised) I realized I can't be without you a while ago..

B: I like like you Veer. Not just like as a friend ..Maybe..even

V: I like like you too Bani..and I will wait for the day you feel more..but shouldn't I be confessing. You are making me feel less by being so bold...

Bani smiled and hugged him tightly.

B: I cannot believe I found you, my first friend, my kind stranger and my cheelu. All of you today! That too as my favourite human being. I already liked you so much without knowing you were all those people too...

Veer smiled and picked Bani up and twirled her around.

B: Veeranshu?

V: sorry Bani, can't keep calm..

B: I am happy to see you cheerful Veer. I want to know more but before that, let me tell you I am going to pester you now that I know you can fly.

V: With pleasure my love.

He spread his wings and began to fly. Bani looked at him wide eyed and then at the earth below.

B: Arey itni jldi nahi wish poori krni thi..

V: Your wish is my command love and we'll be late for our own wedding otherwise so relax and enjoy..

Veer and Bani reached the terrace in a short while. Bani was blushing due to her proximity with Veer and was in awe of the same time. Veer looked happy seeing her happy expression. He felt extremely happy that Bani didn't run away post knowing he is a cheel. In fact, she wasn't looking at him differently either. She still looked at him like he was the same Veer and he was really glad for that. Veer landed and set Bani on her feet but didn't let go of his hands on her waist.

B: Uhem!...Veeranshu?

V: hmmm?

B: choro mujhe...ready bhi hona hai..

V: (hugs her) ek second aur...

Bani nodded and hugged him back.

V: I am really glad and relieved. My secret is out in the open in front of you and I cannot be more relieved sweetheart.

B: It doesn't change who you are Veer and to be honest, I am very intrigued but those are conversations for other days.

V: accha ab jao...thodi se aur hot bankr aa jao...

B: aur tum thode se km hot bankr aana, I don't want to look like I am plotting murders of your fan club on my wedding day....actually who cares! Look you best..

They both smiled and left.

Bani was getting ready. Her attrite had been sent by the Singhanias. It was a beautiful, traditional red lehenga with complimenting jewels. Bani wore them and looked like a goddess. The hair dresser gave her a low bun and put gajra on it. Her makeup was kept simple and natural as Bani hated cakey makeup.

Bani was feeling slightly nervous at the prospect of her new life. Meera had checked up on her and whistled. Bani felt shy at Meera's tapori-type gesture. Meera laughed and left as she had to get ready herself and told Bani to relax as she will come to get her when its time.

Suddenly Bani heard a knock.

B: Come in!

The door opened and Bani's eyes widened as she realized who the person is.

B: Mayuri!?!?
