"Bir. We need to talk." Sanaa spoke as soon as he entered the house in the evening.

"Everything is okay with her?" Kabir asked worriedly and Sanaa nodded with an assuring smile and Kabir relaxed.

"Come on let's talk outside. My kids are missing the trees." Sanaa said and Kabir smiled and helped her carrying the baby strollers outside in the garden.

"What are you doing Bir?" Sanaa asked once they were outside and her kids were happily looking around with their baby eyes.

"I don't understand what you mean by that sweetie pie." Kabir said and held Ayaan in his hands and started making faces at him to avoid conversation.

As if they needed words to understand each other!

Sanaa shook her head and held Aayat as now her twin was in someone's hand then she will not stay quiet.

"So many years together and yet you still try to lie." Sanaa said and kissed her daughter's forehead.

"So many years together and yet you still ask me questions that I can't answer." Kabir replied in the same tone while staring in his nephew's eyes.

He was going to be handsome. Blue eyes just add the special effect.

Sanaa sighed while placing Aayat in her stroller and taking Ayaan away from Kabir and placing him with his twin.

"I really think that you should talk to Zara. What are you waiting for? Your child to come out in the world while your wife doesn't know the truth that you both are married? I'm the elder one so I'm ordering you to do that!"

Sanaa said.

"It's just five minutes, sweetie pie!" Kabir said in a bored voice.

"Five minutes that saved your inheritance which you stupidily signed away. But that's not the point right now. It's about Zara." Sanaa replied and then shook her head.

"Because of you even I have to hide truth from her. Earlier it was okay because it was just you but now I'm involved and I don't like hiding. So if you aren't telling her the truth then I will." Sanaa threatened and Kabir looked at her really annoyed.

"Sweetie pie, will you like it if I say that you should sit and talk with your husband instead of running away and hiding behind me and Sunshine." Kabir said and Sanaa took a deep breathe.

"That's completely different thing and I would have stayed with Zara even if everything was fine in my life." Sanaa replied in a frustrated tone while Kabir just smiled tiredly.

"Why is it different?" He asked.

"For starters my husband knows that I'm married to him and your wife doesn't have any idea that she is your wife."

Sanaa replied in annoyed tone.

"You once asked me to not interfere between you and Rehan. You said that you know him the best and despite of my reservations at that time, I did what you asked me to. Now, I'm asking you to do the same.

You don't know her the way I do. She will have panic attack and it will be dangerous for her as well as for our baby. She will run away, she always does, from the beginning and you have seen that too. She asked you to hide her name when I woke up from coma, right?" Kabir asked and Sanaa closed her eyes taking a deep breath.

Was it weird that in some twisted, complicated way, she understands her twin and his concerns? God, why does she have to understand him so well?!

"That's the only reason I'm keeping quiet Bir because I trust you. And I know that I won't like for you to interfere between me and Rehan. But please Kabir, talk to Zara. You know her better than anyone else so try and talk to her calmly." Sanaa tried to reason.

"I will after our baby is born and she is healthy." Kabir said and Sanaa got up feeling frustrated.

"Bir, I don't know what were you thinking while doing all this? May be you were planning to make her strong but she is already strong.

Sometimes the change we so badly want to happen doesn't turn out how we expect it to be. Trying to change someone's personality so radically will never have good consequences, Bir!

And bringing your child in the world where the mother is having so many doubts won't turn out well for anyone. Giving birth is one of the most toughest and beautiful experience of any woman's life. She will need your support. And she can't trust you before you tell her everything truthfully, from the beginning.

So, I'm requesting you as your sister, please consider talking to her clearly soon. She is your lifeline and you are right to be careful with her but, consider her feelings too." Sanaa said getting up as she heard the car being parked and knew that Rehan was there to meet their babies.

Kabir looked thoughtful at her words so she decided to carry the stroller and he got up to help her.

"Sweetie pie, talk to him. Not just for your babies but for yourself too." Kabir said and Sanaa closed her eyes.

"He said that we have dirty..." Sanaa couldn't complete.

"And he did not mean it. I know. You know. He knows. And he apologised to me the next day but told me to not tell you as he thinks he does not deserve your forgiveness yet." Kabir said and Sanaa's eyes widened in shock.

"I once said him that no man will be worthy enough for you but he is better than the rest.

But today, I can say that he deserves you, just the way you deserve him. He is better than any man that I could have found for you.

You both work well together. You don't have any secrets between you. You guys trust each other and you have two beautiful babies. That is all I ever wished for my future.

I wouldn't have said all this and I wouldn't have interfered between you both if I can't see your sadness behind this all is well face that you wear.

You are my sister; you can stay with me forever. But your happiness lies with him. Don't stop yourself from getting it because of some words said in anger."

Kabir said and kissed her forehead and left while taking the twins leaving Sanaa alone to think.

"Kabir I still think you should talk to Zara. Think about it once again." Sanaa said as she saw him walking away. She wanted to give him something to think about before going in her own thoughts about Rehan and his words.

Kabir shook his head, remembering the conversation with Zara's OBG on the day she fainted on beach. Her doctor has given him the warning, privately.

It was decided the day we got to know the news of her pregnancy. Her pregnancy was difficult one since the beginning. Her anxiety and panic attacks made her pregnancy a difficult one.

He has decided that day that she should stay away from stress. Still things happened which were out of his control, but after the final warning Pakhi gave him before her discharge he has decided to be quiet.

But why was it that seeing her expressionless face makes him doubt his decision, every time? For the first time in his life he was feeling so confused.

Next three days Kabir kept on thinking about Sanaa's words. He noticed that Sanaa was happier now, perhaps she starter talking to Rehan who was smiling like anything whenever he came to meet twins.

Kabir felt like wiping that smirk which clearly suggested that I am happy with my wife. It was just too weird for him to see someone acting so romantic with his sweetie pie and not break his teeth.

Then there were Vaish and her husband. Too dramatic for his liking but they made his Sunshine laugh always and he has to admit they were really good. They fought and then made up in between fighting and ended up praising each other's drama skills.

Was it that easy?

Will speaking the truth give him the same peace and happiness that he is seeing in the life of the people around him?

Should he talk to her before the arrival of their baby?

Her due date was in five days, so he could wait right?

If he waited so long than he could definitely for five more days then why was he feeling so unsettled about a decision that he has taken long back?

He was going to kitchen to drink water but saw Vaish having a small fight with her husband and then him whispering something in her ears. He walked away from there, not wanting to disturb their private moment.

He decided to go to his room to check on her but he saw Rahul and Pakhi sitting in his room and talking to his Sunshine. Rahul's hand was on Pakhi's and they were passing private smiles to each other in between the conversation.

The same wishful feeling came again.

He decided to go to garden to breathe fresh air and saw Rehan and his sweetie pie playing with the twins. Aayat in Rehan's hands while Ayaan in Sanaa's. Rehan kissed his son and daughter and Sanaa just shook her head and smiled while saying something which made him laugh.

And Kabir took a deep breath and walked away from there too.

Just what was happening to him?

Why the happiness around him was affecting him so much?

Since when did he started feeling so wishful while seeing others happy?

He learnt from young age to be patient, to wait for right time. Then why did he felt like he should talk to his Sunshine and tell her everything as soon as possible?

He took a deep breath and felt the laughter and happiness around him.

Then he entered their room that night and saw her smile disappeared, just by seeing his face.

And just like that the decision was taken.

He will talk to his Reine the next day.

No more waiting. No more hiding.

"Sunshine, Promise me that you will listen to me completely before reacting." Kabir asked the next day after everyone left. He asked Sanaa to leave for a while too and she wished him good luck feeling happy at his decision.

"I won't make such promises before listening. So just speak." Zara threw his own words at him and Kabir closed his eyes remembering the time when she was requested him and he said those words.

Just how much has he hurt her?

"Just stop me if it gets too much for you." He said and Zara chuckled.

"I'm not a weak woman like you think me to be. I'm strong. Stronger than you because I don't hide my truth behind lies." Zara said in an emotionless voice and Kabir was stunned listening to her words.

Just how much damage had he done?

Those were the words that he wanted to listen from the beginning. Throughout the entire course of their relationship which was now one year old, he tried to make her strong.

But today when she said those words he didn't feel as happy as he expected to feel. He wanted her to be strong but he felt like he turned her into emotionless person.

He then remembered his sweetie pie's words, "Sometimes the change we so badly want to happen don't turn out how we expect it to be. Trying to change someone's personality so radically will never have good consequences, Bir!"

Zara remembered Shenu's words, "Ask him away, question him, question each and every word of his and don't let him dominate the conversation. Stop him when you feel like and ask whatever doubt crosses your mind. This time you should be the one in charge and he should be answerable.

I know that forgiving him or not is your decision. I also know you are innocent and simple and you might forgive him easily but don't do that before he justifies himself. Show him that the change he so badly wants to see will never give him the satisfaction. Make him realise that."

Zara took a deep breath and prayed for strength to listen the most important conversation of her life.

Kabir closed his eyes and took a deep breath before starting to speak.

It was time to open his each and every secret.

"I think I should begin from our first meeting." Kabir said and looked at her.

"When we met in the hospital one year ago or when you were in coma?" Zara asked because this time she didn't want any doubts.

"No." Kabir said.

"Our first meeting was in the college. Where I saw you for the first time." He said and Zara's eyes narrowed.

"You remember our first collision?" She asked.

"That was not our first meeting. You forgot it, I didn't." Kabir said.
