**************************************
The oracle and her assistant were finally at home, the young girl was sleeping on the bed in her bedroom as the door flied open all the sudden. The oracle showed herself before her, ran to her and shook her up. Maripha was disturbed by the noise, rubbed against her eyes that she finally opened after feeling her master shaking her on the shoulder violently. As she woke up, Tai grabbed at her hand and pulled her up to sit up, shoving a bag filled with some clothes in her hands.
„You have to leave here as soon as possible, Maripha!", she said to him, still agitated for an unknown reason.
The young girl, still tired and dreaming of meeting her dream prince, didn't grasp the situation now. She was wide awake now due to her master's odd behaviour hold onto the bag, looked at the bag then at her master. „What?", she mumbled, „What... What do you mean that I should leave?!". Confusion was written over her face, „I don't understand anything, master. Did I do anything wrong?", she was shaking in fear to be sent away. This mansion was her only home, her master her sole family so she would be devastated if she had to leave her home and family behind. Her eyes widened in shock as she got a clue about the whole situation. „It's because I ate one of the fruit that was supposed to be offered for the gods? Master, I... I... didn't know that it was for offerings..."
„No, it's not for that. Listen to me, first... I decide to save you and the three boys from their cruel fate. This time, I can't let innocent children die due to fate playing with them". She hold onto her hands which she was holding the bag with, „Listen to me very well Maripha because I won't repeat myself. You have listened to the prohphecy about the crown prince, right?"
Maripha was confused but she nodded anyway. She always listened to her master and never angered her. It was too hard for her to accept the harsh truth that she would be sent away so shey wanted to hear the reason for it at least.
„Everyone who was present in the court hall are being silenced by the Queen. Her spies has killed the three servants present there already and they are on their way to us right now. They will be here soon that's why you have to leave. You, at least, have to survive!", this time she was determined to save someone dear to her and innocent people who didn't deserve their life to end like this.
Maripha's big round eyes widened in shock. Now that she had lsitened to her reason, she was really concerned of the future. She shook her head and muttered, „...No... She... The Queen can't kill us for that... She isn't allowed to hurt the sacred oracle!", she was confident that the Queen would never hurt them but she was trembling, afraid that she could be wrong this time.
„The Queen is ambitious and has more power than the King himself. He can't protect us... She wants her son to inherit the throne. Unfortunately, her son will inherit her dirty character and make everyone suffer in the near future. You have to escape and change the future. You my only change to change their destiny!"
„Isn't it better to... to...", she was afraid to let the words out, gulped for a bit and waited for a moment before she continued. „Isn't it better to get rid of that boy who will destroy the two princes or...", she noticed that she was stupid for thinking for such a possibility as the orace's assistant whereupon she reflected on herself and changed her plan. „Isn't it better to keep him away from the second prince so they'll never meet?", it was the only logical chance for her.
„We, oracle, aren't allowed to change the future but I want to save that boy. He was the first human being who touched me despite my cold appearance and position. He was the only one who was interested in me after so many years. I do not want him to suffer and meet such end. He is too innocent to deserve such cruel end!"
The fifteen years old girl was too young to grasp the seriousness of this odd situation but she was smart enough to guess right that the toddler they met would be grown as the young man who would cause this country downfall later. She clenched the bag firmly in her small hands, falling deep in thought and thinking for every possibility to save her and her master.
„I want to save him but won't kill anyone between them either. I am someone who should save humanity and not to take life of a living being away. Even if we fight and try to seperate these two, fate will come at them and let all the prophecy happen. There is only one way to prevent this misfortune. You have to get out of here, survive, find the second prince, hide his identity from everyone and from him too then take him away and leave this country! Only so will we be able to control his anger and hatred toward this country and protect his lover from getting killed."
Maripha eyes went so wide open that they almost fell out of her sockets. She shook her head so hard that she felt dizzy, her mind spining around. „No, I can't do that masster. What about you? Why won't you come with me?"
„I can't leave from here. This place here is my home and this is where I want to stay till the end of my day. But you are different. It's not the time for you to die...", she said while taking her crystal with its chain off. She suddenly hang it around Maripha's head, the violet coloured crystal dangling on her forehead.
The fifteen years old lievely girl lost her usual self, she gasped in surprise, „M... Master what are you doing? Why are you giving me your precious spiritual power?"
„I am giving it to you because it's yours from now on. You're my successor from today on, the next oracle of this country!", a small smile appreaded on her face. It was hard for her to smile at this time of seperation but she wanted to sent her off with happiness and managed to smile to her with much effort.
„No... Not, it can't be. I am just an assistant!", she protested, insiting that she was a mere useless assistant who should serve under the oracle and not any sacred woman who will act as Sunland's oracle from now on.
„You're more than an assistant. I have never told you about it but you are my only successor. I realized it right away the first time I met you playing at that playground. I felt it that's why I took you in and refused to have anyone as my assistant. Now that my time of dying is coming, you will inherit my power and be the next oracle as soon as it's time for you to shine, my girl. For now, you've another duty and that's to save these two boys and the world". Her fingernail on her pointer grew longer into sharp claw whereupon she cut her wrist slowly, blood dripped out. She dipped her thumb in her blood, drew a line with her blood across Maripha's forehead. „Open your mouth"
Maripha wanted to protest but there was a huge urge forcing her to listen to her. She opened her mouth whereupon Tai pressed her bloodied finger on her tongue, the former gulped the stranger's blood down. The crystal hanging on her forehead shone suddenly, it was regaining a darker colour till it turned to its original colour, dark violet. The ceremony of the oracle was finally completed.
„I have prepared this ceremony to be grand for you but it can't happen now. Don't be angry that it had to happen like that, my successor", tears filled her eyes, they dropped. For the first time in five years, she was crying in front of someone. Actually, she only cried when she was alone but she was overwhlemed with emotion and wanted to show her feeling for the first and last time to her successor. It was important for her that Maripha acknowlegded her power and realize that she really loved her. A kind of love that she didn't receive at home. A kind of love a mother would give her child.
„It can't be!", her voice let out. The crystal had found its original dark violet colour as soon as the oracle's blood mixed with her own, meaning that they were compartible. Only the next oracle could make the crystal shine again. Meaning that she truly was the oracle. There were many clues that she was the right one but she refused to believe it. It was too much of a heavy burden for her, she was sure that she wouldn't manage to accomplish her duty so she refused to accept reality. „No, I won't believe it!"
Another smile appeared on Tai's face, it was the genuine smile that she have given the small toddler at the market this noon. „You've noticed that the light in my crystal is growing weak, losing its original powerful colour. To lose your light means that your end is getting close!", it was the true that she was hiding from her for five long years.
Maripha remained silent, she had noticed that the light in the crystal were getting dim but she did not think much about it. Now that she knew about the truth, she could not hold back her tears anymore. They were dropping down nonstop, she was lost for words. This situation was too much for her, she didn't know what to do expect to cry in agony. Her heart was beating faster, it ached that she would lose her master soon.
„You have to take care of the second prince but never reveal his identity to him too soon. He os destined to be our next King but only after he killed his brother. He is also destined to meet that young boy. Even if you try to seperate them, they'll meet one day", her expression turned sad, „However, that boy is destined to fall in love with the second prince despite him having a mate, is something oustragous that didn't happen before but he is unfortunate enough to have this two men love and fight for him. When the time comes for that second prince and that boy to meet, support him. Protect that child too and never let anything happen to him... because... Because the second prince will turn evil if he witness his love die in front of him!"
She looked in the direction of the door all the sudden, chill ran down her spine, goosebumps all over her body. An eery air was in the atmosphere. She grabbed Maripha's hand and pulled her to follow her out of the bedroom. They went outside. At that time, the girl had tears in her eyes, she was crying uglily, didn't even care that she didn't appear beautiful neither graceful like an angel. Actually, she was a young maiden who always took care of her appearance to look decent beside the orcale but today, she hated the world, the gods for playing jokes on the three boys and taking her mother figure's life.
The Oracle, „Run in the southwest, follow the path where the light of this crystal want you to be. There, you'll find a dead infant, take him from his family and bring him to the king's concubine to exchange it with the second prince. Tell her that the Queen was after her son and promise her that you will take care of the boy as your younger brother then take him out of there. Protect the 2nd prince and the love of his life. That boy is our future. If he survives and stay with the second prince then it would be a bleessing for our country. They are our future". she gazed at a certain direction, could heard the ground shaking under her and sense many beasts coming toward them. They would reach this place very soon. Since Maripha was still in shock and refused to move from her place, Tai pushed her gently back, forcing her to leave as soon as possible. A smile adorned her beautiful face, „Thanks for being there for me all these years, my child. You have given me a happy life without sadness and loneliness in this 5 years. Thanks for everything, my Maripha", it was the first time that she has called her by her name.
More tears left the young girl's eyes when she heard her beloved master call her by her name. Now, she could feel the ground shaking under her as the assassins sent to them were getting closer to them. There were many men coming toward them, evil aura surrounding them. Some of them had the smell of blood on them, apparantly they have killed before coming here. Now she knew that the oracle was right about their death, she was right like always. Sometimes she wished that the orcale was wrong about her prophecy but something like that never happened in the five years as she was working for her. This times were the times she hated her master's ability, wishing that they were normal beta and omega who could surely pass as mother and daughter. Unfortunately, her wish would never come true and always remain a dream. Today was even the end of her dream she dreamed about every night. Tonight was their sepration, a painful seperation without any chance of reunion in the future.
„Go!", the oracle beast like voice roared in the air, causing the air to get more chilly.
Maripha took more steps back, turned behind then ran forward, she jumped toward and over the rooftop then down and transfromed into a brown fured four legged werewolf. She landed on the ground but did not wait a second and continued running fast in the opposite direction, leaving her master behind. Only one thought in her mind, find the second prince and take him out of there in the safety, completing her master's order! It was the only thing that she could do for her dying master, fulfilling her last wish, order and duty.
At the same time Tai looked above in the sky. There weren't any star, neither any fullmoon, the sky was clouded with dark clouds that would cover Sunland from today on. She knew that it was prohibited to challenge fate and change someone's fate but she did not regret her selfish decision. She was glad to save that young boy. The face of her former assistant came to her mind. „I will follow you soon, dear...", she mumbled.
No one ever found out about it, not even Maripha but her former assistant was her mate. How something like that could happen? Every oracle has his own mate but they were prohibited to be intimitate with them to pretect their pureness. However, their strong bond to their mate was so strong that they couldn't live long without them. Due to this strong bond, one of the oracle come to the idea to have their mate work for them in the oracle's mansion. Fortunatel, most of the mates were women. However, there were few times when the mate were a man. If the man were delicate in appearance then they would disguise themselves as woman to stay beside her. If they had rough appearances then they would act as their driver or gardener to visit and see them.
Tai had met her mate shortly before she became the orcacle and their bond was really strong so it was more painful for her to see her mate's death in one of her visions. Yeah, she knew about her death beforehand. However, as much as she wanted to save her, she wasn't allowed to challenge fate and forced herself to stay with her to spend the last time with her before she suffered a stroke and died. Tai was one to never break the rules and didn't even do anything to save her mate but today, she tried to fight against the gods for the sake of this young boy. Just because he was the only one who ever showed interest to her, not caring whether she was the respectable oracle or not. That small boy was the only one who found her eyes scary first then interesting and lovely. He was the only one who gave her the feelings that she was not lonely anymore. She just had one regret in her life. That she didn't prevent her mate's death that time and let it happen, witnessing her death and her taking her last breath. Her chest tightened, her heart under her skin was thumping too fast that it could jump out of her skin anytime. Tears filled her eyes again, they fell down slowly, rolling down her pale cheeks then her neck and disappeared in her long dress.
Her body began to change, more like transforming. Brown Furs grew on her body, her whole face grew bigger and longer, her fingergails grew into claws, the beast form came out of her. She, as a werewolf, was standing in the courtyard, more than eleven black fured werewolves jumped from outside in the courtyard, standing in front of her and surrounding her. The assassins were careful, not leaving a single chance for her to escape and survive. As many knew, the oracle possessed both strength and special ability that many feared. If they weren't vigilent enough than she would kill them all. Since they were not allowed to fail on this mission, they came in high number to ambush her. Tai's golden eyes glared at them, she growled faintly then a loud roar resounding in the air. At the same moment, the black fured assassins growled too, jumped at her and attacked her.

The young Maripha was holding a baby in her arms while she was running on the empty, dark streets. The boy wasn't moving neither making any sound, it looked pale and had blue lips but it still felt warm since it died recently. She gazed down at the forever sleeping boy, feeling pity with him that he didn't get the chance to see the light of this country. Even though her master gave her the order to save this world, she felt guilty for taking this baby away from his family and disguise it as another one just to save Sunland. Even if the mother suffered a stillbirth, her dead son was also her precious baby and she took him away from her.
Maripha was running for over thirty minutes now. Everywhere she looked at, there were only ruins, abandoned buildings, houses and restaurants. Apparantly this place was abandoned for the government to rebuilt it into amusement park. After some minutes later, there was sign of the living before her. There was a small house with lights on at the end of the road. She took deep, fast breath since she was out of breath before she continued running forward. When she arrived in front of the door, she didn't take time to collect herself and find the best words how to explain the situation. She couldn't sense them but know that many beasts were on their way to here too. They would keep up with her soon if she didn't hurry.
All the sudden, a loud scream resounded in the air. It was a painful one, as if someone was in pain and had to let this scream out to ease the pain. The young girl tensed up and was in high alert, banging her palm against the door whereupon it flied open. She entered the small house and walked through the corridor in the living room. There, she met an unexpected welcome, a dagger flying toward her. She reacted faster, bent backward and was able to dodge the dagger aimed at her, the sharp object flying over her and ended in the wall. As she bent forward, she could get a glimpse of the situation, her eyes wandered in the room. There was a brown fured werewolf and another woman standing beside the black sofa. The woman jumped at her and began to transform in the middle of the air into a four-legged werewolf.
„Stop there!", Maripha managed to shout, somehow found her courage to stand up to the two big beasts that were tripple her size. She, actually, was a timid girl who never raised her voice as her master had taught her but today she mastered up her courage to fight against the odds in this creepy night. Ever since she received the former oracle's blood in her also her blessing as the next oracle, she could feel her power raising slowly.
The other woman ceased with her intention, turning back into her human form. Actually these two women standing beside the sofa were there to get rid of everyone who approached them and appeared to be danger for their friend but they ceased with their attack and listened to the girl as soon as she spoke to them. There was an invisible power, more like a suppressing aura coming from her that was preventing them from hurting her. Besides, the violet crystal on her forehead revealed that she must be an oracle. Somehow, they were still vigilant and observing every of her steps so they could be ready if she launched an attack on them. Why it was hard for them to believe that that young girl should be the oracle? They have heard that the current oracle should be a woman in her early fifties and not a clumsy teenager. The reason why they couldn't let their guard down either was because of the third woman. That person was laying on her back in the sofa, her legs were bend and she was trying to suppress something heavy, clenched her lips to keep her mouth tightly shut.
There were only dim light coming from the ceiling light but Maripha noticed blood under the third woman's legs, the latter was sweating badly, her lips were blue due to an unknown reason. The young oracle could only get a faint glimpse on her but knew that she was a charming woman who could steal every man's heart. She didn't have time to appreciate the King lover's youth, beauty and charming aura surrounding her. Despite the third stranger's beautiful look, Maripha recognized her as one of her own. An omega?
The woman that the King impregnanted is an omega? How can he sleep with an omega? His wife is an alpha but he choose to cheat on her with an omega instead? Something like that is oustrageous, a scandal that could stir up trouble in the people's heart. It's embarrassing for the Queen too. Maripha didn't know how she should think of this whole mess. She, too, was an omega who were seeing as slave, useless, and a plaything for the alphas and had witnessed cruel behaviour of the alphas toward her own races, even experienced their hatred firsthand from her family so she couldn't comprehend how the most powerful alpha, a King, choose an omega over his wife, an alpha. It is a good change or will it result in this country's downfall instead? She was impressed by that sudden encounter but didn't have time to think much or react about it. Time was precious at this moment because the more time she was wasting, the more dangerous it was getting for her.
„You have to listen to me! I am here on the order of my master, the former oracle. She has an important message to rely to the pregnant King's lover."
The three women's eyes widened in shock, surprise and fear the moment Maripha mentioned about one of them being the King's lover. The two friends of the expectant, acting as her own bodyguards, prepared themselves for another fight. According to them, no one knew about the pregnancy. They feared that she was a spy in disguise as a fragile girl and weren't eager to let her escape alive. She could manage it to the Queen and tell her about this shocking discovery.
However, the fifteen years old girl continued with the explanation, „My master went to visit the palast to read the crown princes future today and found some disturbing information about the child. I can't tell you all of the details but only that his half brother, the second prince'll be the one to destroy the crown prince's life."
„What do you mean by that prophecy?", the left one asked in confusion through telepathy. She was the one who was already transformed into a beast as Maripha arrived. She was also the strongest fighter in the group of three but was the least smart one. Because of her poor judgement, she never thought of the consequences before fighting and always got in trouble.
The woman on the right grasped the situation without much pondering, „Don't tell me that the Queen knows about the prince's existence already?", she asked then looked at the motionless baby in the oracle's arms and could already guess the reason why this teenager arrived with a dead body of a recently born baby boy.
„Unfortunately yes. She... She is is preparing to..."
„Kill him!", the smarter one of the three mumbled and interrupted the oracle. There was a concerned look in her eyes but she remained rational and said, „She has sent her assassins to get rid of the witnesses who have listened to the prophecy!"
Maripha was surprised at her intelligence that she concluded the truth from the few clues that she had given them. „Yes... She has sent her assassins to massacre everyone who was present during the prophecy...". Tears filled her eyes, a tear fell down but she wiped it away with her sleeve, didn't want to look weak now. A determined look appeared, „My master is currently fighting against the assassins but before that, she has sent me away to warn you."
„Let me guess. Your master has saved your life instead of leaving you behind and take care of the matter herself. You're here to take the newborn prince away, hide him from the world and protect him on your own while we'll lie that the prince is that dead baby, right?"
„As absurd as it sounds, this is the only...", she began but was interruped again.
„Don't ever think that we'll trust YOU, a stranger, the prince's life!", the smarter one roared.
The young woman laying there was beautiful, pale, looked sick and was biting on her lips to not let any sound out. However, she couldn't hold back her scream anymore and let it out, her screams echoed in the room. The two women who seemed to be her friends, working as maids in the palace too, turned immediately to her. The beast one transformed back into her human form and turned to her friend, holding onto her hand to calm her down. The woman in labour couldn't wait anymore and began pressing. The baby's head already came out. A small child like Maripha who wasn't ready for this kind of situation, felt dizzy as soon as she witnessed the child's head being pressed out of that small hole. She felt the pain on her own body, chill ran down her spine. She almost puked the food that she had eaten in this night, this sight was just horrible to watch. Did I come out of this way too? No way would I have fit in this tight... She turned away to not look at this sight but she remembered that she would be the one take care of this boy as his eldest sister if they allowed her to take him with her. Her heart beated faster when thinking that she would have this baby in her arms soon. She didn't want to miss the opportunity so she turned back to watch the birth of the second prince. The smart woman assisted to the birth while the other prepared for clean towels and warm water.
The baby's head successfully came out, now the shoulders were slightly exposed. It took ten minutes for the baby to finally come out. Cries resounded in the air. There was an overjoyed atmosphere in the air, the friend who was acting as the midwife took the baby and gave it to the mother. The King's lover was tired after the birth but she forgot the pain, the hardships, her sorrows, the fear and all the negative emotions when holding her boy in her hands. She hold him tightly against her chest, patting on his back and staring at her sweet child. He was calm and warm despite the chilly wind, he stopped crying as he felt his mother.
„Give me the towel...", the young mother muttered exhausted.
„I will do it...", the smarter friend said.
The mother shook her head, accepted the wet, warm towel and cleaned her own son. After she looked at her sleeping child, she smiled then gazed back at Maripha, „Promise me that you'll take care of him as his older sister... No, as his mother, young oracle..."
„What?", her two friends asked in synchron today. These two were maids who were like yin and yang, consistently fighting against each other. Nobody would had guessed that they were mates because of their quarrel that happened almost everyday.
„I know you're just worried about me but I trust her somehow. Not because she's an oracle but because she really looks determined to save my son. It's my decision to give him to her that's why you shouldn't try to convince me either."
Her two friends remained silent. They knew her friends well ever since they were working in the same palace for a few years now. The young mother was always stubborn and determined, one that couldn't be convinced easily once she had taken her decision.
„But you'll have to leave with her!", the two yin and yang said at the same time.
„No, I can't leave...", she was sleepy and tired but forced the words out. „How should you convince them that that dead boy is my son if the mother has run away?", she shook her head when she realized the sad look in her two friends' face. Tears filled her eyes, they were rolling down and wetting her face, „I am grateful for everything you have done for me but it's time for you two to leave and save yourself now". She didn't want to drag them down in hell with her. The Queen wanted her and her son and not her two best friends. They didn't deserve to die with her in this night.
The stronger one smirked, „You think that we'll leave you alone after all the thinsgs we went through together?"
„You can't get rid of us this easily!", the other one insisted. They were all friends and would stay like this till the end, dying while protecting the prince tonight. It was true friendship, one of a kind that was rare to see nowadays.
The King's lover smiled, „I won't ever forget it... Come here young oracle and take him..."
Maripha was reluctant first but she eventually approached her. However, the young mother didn't give her son away but stared at him and at every part on his body to save them in her memory before she died. It was hard for her to give up on her mother but she didn't have any other choice. If she wanted her son to live then she had to give him away. With new tears in her eyes and with heavy heart, she gave her baby to Maripha who had given the dead baby to the midwife already. The second prince began to cry when he was in another person's arms, as if knowing that he would be parted with his mother. Maripha was clumsy and didn't know how to hold the baby but the mother showed it to her. As soon as she hold properly onto him and the child felt her warmth, he calmed down and began sleeping again. The midwife gave the dead baby's body to the King's lover.
Now the baby's body was getting colder, she caressed on his forehead. I'm sure that you have suffered enough... Your mother is surely missing you too and here I am using you to save my own son... I am sorry for making you take my son's place. Let's both rest in peace now...
Suddenly the yin and yang turned to the door, they were growling faintly. It was a signal that something dangerous was coming toward them. The two were betas so they could detect the danger early than Maripha and the King's lover who were both weak omegas. Maripha should be able to sense it too earlier but her power didn't awaken completely yet because she wasn't ready to be the next oracle and was forced into this position in the middle of the night without proper preparation. The fighters urged her to leave as soon as possible, pushing her forward to depart with the second prince.
„Protect him with your life of I will come back from hell and hunt you if something happen to him!", the stronger fighter threatened her.
Maripha wasn't in clear mind to listen to her since she was on her way to outside already. She jumped from rooftops to rooftops untill she came out of the abandoned district. She dashed on the darkest places of the streets to avoid being discovered by the assassins who were getting closer to the King's lover and her best friends. Meanwhile the yin and yang transformed into beasts again, waiting eagerly for their last party to start. Unfortunately the young girl's crystal shone bright before it turned violet to its precious colour.
She froze on the spot, warm tears dripping down her eyes. Her chest tightened that hard that she couldn't breath for a moment, she felt sharp sting in her chest, her heart was thumping faster. Why she stopped in the middle of the run and began crying suddenly? Why the crystal shone before it turned back to its violet colour again? It meant that her master had died! The former oracle Tai Tenpak Sirikul has succumbed to her grave injuries! For today on, Maripha was inofficialy the current oracle! Goodbye master, I hope you will rest in Peace. I will take care of this child and change the two boys' fate!

A man in his end thirsty sat up on his bed all the sudden after waking up from the nightmare that was torturing him in his sleep. He was panting, trying to grab for fresh air into his lungs. His heart was poundering too hard, he touched on his chest and mumbled few words. „You died this time right? This time, you're leaving me for good right, my love?", these words that was painful for him to say, finally came out. He felt it that his lover died just now. I am sorry that I couldn't protect you this time too. I am sorry son that I wasn't there for you either...

At the same time, the Queen had left the bed beside her husband and was sitting under the pavillon in the garden, drinking tea this late in the night. There were five bodyguards behind her and more than ten maids attending to her needs. She took the mug toward her mouth and wanted to drink the hot steamed tea but an image appeared in her mind whereupon she froze on the spot. It was the picture of the King's lover. According to her, she was an impudent slut who had dared to approach what was hers again. She was boiling in anger, could not control herself anymore and was releasing her powerful aura into the atmosphere. The eight omegas among the maids fell down, shaking painfuly on the ground and gripping tightly on their neck to breath. The betas who were slightly infected by that strong power were smirking, enjoying the little show. The omegas were suffering, some puking blood. They were begging the Queen for mercy but the latter was deep in thought and failed to listen to their cry of help. It could be that she had heard them but ignored them to let them suffer for a bit to satisfy herself. Maybe she was punishing them for the mistake she did herself years ago.
I thought, I have killed you back then but it seems that you have survived, huh? But this time, you won't escape my grips! She grabbed too tightly onto the expensive looking golden mug that it broke into many shards, the pieces falling on the ground. A sixth bodyguard came to her and whispered into her ear. It seemd to be such a good news that she smirked widely as soon as the news reached her ear. Her assassins were successfully with their assignment. They have killed all the witnesses: the three servants, the oracle and her assistant, her rival and the most problematic one, the second prince. Finally, good news for her. This good news made her control her emotions and her power. The suffocating aura in the air was disappated, the omegas could breath properly again but it was late for two of them. They have died already as they couldn't breath under her unleashing her dominant aura. Their bodies were dragged on the ground to be buried on an unknown cimetery that was only built for their kind.

Maripha was tired after running for more han two hours, now she was dead tired and couldn't keep the marathon anymore. The baby was wrapped in a quilt and she was holding him close to her chest. She found herself in the forest but waited on the spot to catch some air. It was too silent in this forest, as if all the animals were sleeping. She was too young to realize that there was always something wrong if a place was too dead quiet. Faint growls came from the four directions, she turned in a direction and stared there but she noticed that there were creatures coming from the four routes. She looked anxiously around, her body shivering in fear. There was a problem now, it seemed that one of these pack was an alpha, his aura was intimidating her. A werewolf came out of each direction, these weren't normal werewolves that were from a normal pack but rather rogues ones without a stable pack and home. All the 4 werewolves had golden eyes, shining even beautiful like precious gold in this scary night.
„Young girl, you have trespassed our territory...", the one from behind said. He was the one who was bigger and looked stronger than the other three. Apparantly he was the alpha for this rogue pack.
The other were only betas, patiently waiting for their alpha to give them permission to hunt their new prey.
„I am sorry alpha but I... I... I just wanted to reach another city and have lost my way...", she mumbled politely, wishing that they would have mercy on her and let her leave without threatening her. She was aware of the fact that alphas were very strict with any intruder who trespassed their territory without permission. Whoever entered their territory was challenging their power so they would fight to keep their lands. It was her fault for coming here without their permission but she did not have a choice as to take this route. Since she was scared of being discovered while walking on the street, she took the forest instead to keep it low. Now she had encountered another danger and had to stay rational to not anger them any further.
„I don't care if you have lost your way... Whoever dares to enter my territory will have to fight with me!", he gazed deep in her eyes, licking his long tongue on his lips. „You're a fine young lady that I would like to add to my toy... You don't have any choice as an omega!", for him there wasn't any option for her to choose anyway. Either she would come with him or die brutally on the spot. It didn't even matter to him that he was double her age! Anything would suit him as long as it was beautiful.
Maripha wouldn't accept this option. She had a duty to fulfill and wouldn't follow this scum only to end up as his plaything. Even if she wasn't strong neither an alpha, she would fight to teach him that omegas weren't only there to keep as toys. She put the baby onto the ground, faced the four enemies and turned into a werewolf too. The alpha wolf jumped at her, aimed at her neck and wanted to bite flesh from her neck but she just flew pass him, coming toward the other opponent. As she was close to that one beta, she jumped high in the sky. One of the three betas approached the defenseless prince, grinned then wanted to bite on the baby but he felt sharp pain vibrating from his leg. There were fangs clenching around his leg, the person was pressing her fangs and managed to break his left leg. Snap!
The sound of breaking bone sounded too creepy but Maripha kept fighting. She bite tightly onto his leg then lifted him up and threw him away, the rogue beta slammed his back against the ground. Maripha was too busy to take care of the other enemy that she had neglected the other three. The alpha jumped at her and bite close to her neck. A painful, loud growl came from her, she fell to the ground, blood dripping down from the wound. She was whimpering, it was the first time that she had received such big injury so she was confused and didn't know how to ease the pain.
The alpha approached her to take her fragile neck in his fangs as a loud cry resounded in the air all the sudden. He froze on the spot, looked at the place where the too annoying voice was coming from. It was the baby, he was crying. It was a mere cry of a baby but it did something else with these four rogues. They could not move anymore neither stay straight on their feet, they were suffering from strong headache. The fourth beta who was thrown away by Maripha remained on the ground but he was pressed hard against the earth. Meanwhile the three others were pressed down too, they were forced to transform back into their human form before they fell to their knees while grabbing at their head that was feeling hot, seemed as if it would burst anytime. They screamed, wailing and begging that the sound should stop torturing them.
Maripha was the only one who wasn't affected by the baby's cry. She looked to the prince, stood up and walked there to him. What power do you have? What did you really do to them? Whatever you are, you have saved my life, little prince... As if the baby had understood her gratitude, he stopped crying and fell asleep again.
The torment didn't last long either as the four rogues didn't move anymore, their wide opened eyes staring at the baby in front of them. They took their last breath and stopped moving at the end. Maripha grabbed with her fangs at the end of the quilt the baby was wrapped in with then lifted him up and continued her way. She walked for a few minutes before she began jumping in the front to leave more distance behind her and ran as fast as she could.
Finally, she arrived on the top of the cliff and looked down. There was another city down in front of her. It wasn't as big as the imperial city but it didn't matter to her as long as she could escape the Queen's grips and protect the prince. The city was just in front of her, however, she could not go there like she wanted because she felt too weak to walk. She regretted now for leaving the bag that her master gave her behind or she would have changed into clean clothes already. Unfortunately she didn't even have time to regret her decision as her feet gave up whereupon she fell down, still holding tightly onto the baby and protecting him with her small frame. As she landed on her back against he ground, she was slowly losing her consciousness untill she closed her eyes and fainted with the prince still safe in her arms.
