I watched her down from the stage and it felt like I forgot how to breathe. She was breathtakingly beautiful under the moon tonight. Her eyes met mine and I can feel the instant pull. I was completely drawn to her. I can notice her anywhere in the crowd. It was hard not to when she was the most beautiful female I have ever laid eyes on.

"She's beautiful tonight." Alpha Titus said from next to me. My grandfather to him for a moment before I nodded my agreement.

"Stunning. She has a beauty that I can't explained because no words match what I see." I murmured truthfully.

Alpha Titus chuckled and patted my back. "She's beautiful but a female with a strong backbone. She never cries to anyone except you. It seemed now I know why."

I arched an eyebrow in question. Alpha Titus only smirked in response and placed his hand behind him as he walked up to the microphone. My gaze fell upon my mate who now stood among the mated females as they are getting ready for the run.

Anticipation and excitement roared through me and I can feel my wolf getting antsy and impatient. Ivana's eyes never wavered from mine but it gave me even more of an adrenaline rush.

"It seems not so long ago I was here chasing after my mate. It has been many years and now I am proud to say and introduce to you, my daughter and future Alpha of this pack, her mate and their ceremony." He turned slightly to me. "Good luck, son. She is your ultimate prize."

Everyone chuckled as I grinned. A prize I will definitely enjoy. The whistle pierced the air. The females giggled and began sprinting toward the woods. My eyes landed on the one female I only wanted. I saw her make a sharp left and disappeared.

I began stripping. The males were talking excitedly as we waited for the next whistle. My dad and Alpha Titus stood next to me and we shifted ten seconds before the whistle. The last of our clothing destroyed as we did it.

Lifting my nose into the air, I howled, knowing fully well that Ivana can hear me. My paws kicked off the ground and we all broke into runs. I headed in the direction that Ivana headed.

I stopped when I began losing her scent. She was doing it on purpose to make things harder on me. I sniffed the ground and at a leaf before running further down to stream.

Smart. Lose me by the river. The strong river scent will over power her scent but it wasn't enough. I followed the muddy foot prints that was hers another mile until I saw her. She was in the open still in her wolf form. I took a step and a branch from under my front paw snapped at my weight.

Her head turned and saw me.

Damn.

She broke into a run.

I bursted after her. I was only a few yards from her when she ran into a cave. I followed her in and when I was close enough I pounced. She went tumbling hard onto the sandy ground of the dark cave.

I snapped my jaw at her neck but she pulled back before moving to bite mine. We pushed, jumped and fought for a while until I saw the perfect opportunity and I bit down on her neck. She whimpered but stopped struggling as a sign of submission to me as her mate.

I shifted on top of her. She turned her snout away from me as she tried to avoid looking at my naked body.

"Shift, Ivy." I murmured. She shook her head.

"Shift or we will stay like this until you do." I threatened.

She huffed and shifted under me. Her hand came up to cover her boobs and private area. A blush can be seen lightly on her cheek.

"Look at me, Ivy." I ordered and her eyes met mine. "You are mine. I will never let you go and I will always protect you."

"You are mine too, Killian." She whispered shyly and I crushed my lips onto hers.

Tonight, I was going to make her mine and nobody was going to stop me. Never breaking from the kiss i wrapped her legs around me as I picked up her naked body with mine and carried her over to a rock ledge in the cave.

On Alpha Titus's land, he always has fresh blankets and pillows in caves. By the ledge were laying some. I broke away from the kiss long enough to fix a place for us. She sat in the middle and watched me.

Nervousness set in and I watched her to see if she was feeling the same way.

"How are you?" I asked and slowly a smile appeared on her face.

"I will be better if we begin soon. Don't you want to make me yours, Killian?" She asked, looking up at me from under her eyelashes.

Ah...my brazen Ivy.

I got onto my knees in front of her as I cradled her face in my hands. I bent down to kiss her on the lips. She sighed against my lips and my confidence was restored.

This was it. She will be mine.

With that thought, I deepened our kiss as I pushed her gently to her back with my body covering hers.
