CHOO! CHOO! Sounds of winged menaces taking over the school. Screams of panic as grey birds clawed at unsuspecting victims.
CHOO! CHOO! A sound that had plagued Paris time and time again. Seventy-two times was it now? It was hard to count as it seemed any little thing that was inconvenient to a pigeon would cause Xavier Ramier to be akumatized.
"Let's strat with eggs-ecuting the girl responsible for such travesties!" He petted a pigeon underneath its chin before he walked into the courtyard.
"Fifty euros, he's after Chloe." Rena Rouge said as she was perched on the rooftop barely out of sight. She was evaluating the situation to lessen Ladybug's load when she arrived.
"Then I guess, I call Lila." Carapace added as she was the antagonist that betrayed a remarkable amount of people.
"I call Adrien." ChatNoir chimmed in. Spooking both Rena Rouge and Carapace. He knew it was wrong to bet on who Mr. Pigeon's target was but it was harmless fun.
Rena Rouge raised a mask-brow. "You have to pick someone else." As it was weird to bet on yourself.
In all the chaos of flying birds, ChatNoir caught a glimpse Marinette choosing not to run out the emergency exits but into the locker room. "Marinette?"
"Your betting on Marinette? Really?" Rena Rouge asking thinking that her mask-brow would be stuck in its raised position. As the amount of times ChatNoir said something out-of-the-box.
ChatNoir jumped down trying very carefully not to gain Mr. Pigeon's attention. He had to get Marinette out of danger before he even attempted to solve the Mr. Pigeon problem. Which he knew was a dumb decision as if he solved the Mr. Pigeon problem first, she would not be in danger anymore. But that would put her at risk of being injured and he could not have that. Even, if Ladybug possessed a backspace button, deleting all the physical travesties beforehand. He could not let her get hurt, not when she was already hurting. Courtesy of him.
ChatNoir thought he was in the clear to jump over the railing to get to the first floor. 'DING!' 'DING!' "SHIT!" His bell had exposed him causing him to loose his footing. He was very sure that he was going to land flat on his face despite the saying 'cats always land on their feet.' He proved that to be a lie, again and again.
He did not expect to get caught let alone by a person who he almost didn't recognize. A person that he had not seen in what felt like an eternity ago. The man who caught him seemed to have a broken French accent. No doubt a side effect of living away from his roots for so long. "You okay uh... ChatNoir?"
'Felix?' ChatNoir's ears were flattened as the man who looked eerily like a younger version of his father held him like a very large baby. If this man was who ChatNoir thought he was, then this was not how he expected the reunion to go. If he dared hope there to be a reunion. "Yeh..."
Ladybug appeared swatting away pigeons with the swing of her yo-yo.
She looked back and saw ChatNoir in his odd situation. "CHAT! QUIT GOOFING OFF!"
She thought she was hallucinating a maturer looking Adrien swaddling ChatNoir. She shook her head thinking that her hormones were just screwing with her vision just as they did with her emotions.
ACHOO! ChatNoir unintentionally sneezed on his savior before heading to help Ladybug. "You know Ladybug these were not the type of birds, I wanted to see today." ACHOO!
Ladybug rolled her eyes at how stupid she was not seeing the similarities between Adrien and ChatNoir were. They both were allergic to birds. How many people were that height and had that type of allergy? Like twelve.
ChatNoir spun his baton using it to guard Ladybug. "I wanted to see a pair of tits."
Ladybug immediately smacked ChatNoir with her yo-yo. The older he got the looser his tongue became. Not afraid to say innuendos or things that if superheroing came with an HR department he'd have his own complaint box. Ladybug then instinctive crossed one arm across her chest. "CHATON!" She scolded as this was not an appropriate place or time for such comments.
Her face began to turn red as he did indeed see a pair of tits this morning. However, they just weren't the flighty type. "FOCUS!" An order that she shouted for both for her and him. She was letting his stupid jokes get to her. Jokes that she would otherwise not effect her if she did not know who laid behind the mask.
Mr. Pigeon becamed angered as the heroes were stunning his furious flock. "WHERE IS SHE? SHE STARTED THIS!"
"Who?" ChatNoir asked before snapping his fingers. "Shucks thats right. You speak pigeon not owl." He laughed before adding a "Choo?" ACHOO!
Ladybug found herself more disappointed in herself then in ChatNoir's jokes. 'I HATE myself.' As the leather clad dork making a fool of himself was someone she willingly slept with. 'How do I find THAT attractive?!'
"DUPAIN-CHENG!" The villain spat trying to evoke fear.
ChatNoir cuffed his hands and shouted towards Carapace and Rena Rouge not carrying if he got a few scraps and bruises by the pigeons. They couldn't do any worse damage then Marinette did. "I WON SUCKAHHHSSS!"
He smiled as he rarely won the bets as he was the rich friend so he always got last pick. Rena Rouge and Carapace through the years slowly elevated the amount of euros the more Adrien lost. Was it fair? No. But it did pay off as now he was one hundred euros richer.
Ladybug began to reevaluate her life choices as the man screaming to the roof was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. To have kids with. Kids that she was afraid that would be half her but the real fear was them being half him.
"CHATNOIR! I swear I can't take you anywhere."
ACHOO! "You don't... mean mean..." He prepared himself for another sneeze. "Nope false alarm."
The man that saved ChatNoir held a broom and spun it in a similar way to ChatNoir's baton helping to fend off the pigeons.
"Pretty helpful!" Ladybug smiled as she was normally against civilians helping out but he was remarkably good at this.
She also wasn't going to dismiss a good looking guy in suit slacks, suspenders, and sleeves rolled up to expose his muscular forearms. 'DAMMANNN.' She thought as she wondered if Adrien would look that good as whatever age the mystery man was. She did not know if she was angry with ChatNoir but she briefly thought about trying out, Adrien 2.0.
"It's-it's bit more difficult then I remember." He gritted straining to keep his stance.
'Remember? Remember? REMEMBER?' "Wait, are you?!" Ladybug smiled a bit giddy that she laid her eyes on a predecessor. She knew if ChatNoir's was around then perhaps the previous Ladybug was near. She wanted to ask her a million questions. The most important being "Why did you leave before taking the Peacock and Butterfly Miraculouses?"
The previous guardian promised he would tell her everything. To explain what happened to the previous Ladybug and ChatNoir. A promise unkept as Master Fu relinquished the responsibility of the miracle box. Loosing his memories. Loosing his secerts. It was unfair to leave her when she had only been Ladybug for a year.
To leave a fifteen year old child in incharge of the most powerful items in the world. A child that was just starting to figure how to deal with boys, highschool, and juggling the whole secert identity thing. Then she was left to her own devices. To make the big decisions. Left with more questions then answers.
Three years being the guardian. She hated the anxieties that came with protecting Miracle box so much so that she let Carapace have it. For him to hide it so if she ever got captured that the Miraculouses would be protected. Mostly protected from her as it was so tempting to rewind everything. 'Why did Hawkmoth seek the Ladybug and ChatNoir Miraculouses when the Rabbit Miraculous was so overpowered?' Another question that haunted her.
Maybe, it was just jealousy rearing it's ugly head but ChatNoir could not let someone outshine him. ChatNoir started to whistle, 'Hello My Baby, Hello My Honey by Frog'. As he tried to compete with the civilian. A civilian that made defending Ladybug look so easy. Even when lacking a supersuit or an actual weapon. Not that he had really ever considered a yo-yo as weapon despite the many times Ladybug smacked him with it.
Ladybug tried to figure out were Mr. Pigeon's Akuma was hiding. Rena Rouge and Carapace moved citizens out of the way. Rena Rouge focusing more on people trying to record or snap photos as she wanted to deter her competition. She had her phone duck taped to the wall to get the best action shots for the Ladyblog.
Ladybug quickly scanned Mr. Pigeon hoping that his Akuma was on his person and not on one of the winged terrors. She was not a fan of looking for a needle in a haystack. Tedious with this amount of birds. 'Necklace? Photo? Ring? Earrings? I will take anything!'
Ladybug was hoping that it would just click in her head but unfortunately luck was not on her side. "LUCKY CHARM!"
Ladybug held out her hands for the object that was extremely small compared to her usuals. "A pack of gum?"
The man with the broom snickered as he recalled the same expression of confusion on his Ladybug. A expression he missed.
"What in the world?" Ladybug questioned as she fiddled with it. She was always amazed with how smart she was but sometimes she feared that the world was doomed. That Hawkmoth would win. Especially if victory was dependent on a PACK OF GUM.
"Maybe its to gum up his feathers?" ChatNoir added before restarting his tune as Ladybug had interrupted his song only for him to lose the melody once again since Adrien 2.0 had to put his two cents in.
"It's in his left shoe."
"How did yOU-" Her sentence cut off as a gray horde formed into an arrow and tried to knock her off her feet.
"His shoe is an inch or....an inch and a half shorter then his right."
Ladybug despite her designer eye did not notice the asymmetry until it was pointed out to her. "Good eye!"
"No problem, my-" The man shook his head as he could not say the nickname. This Ladybug was not his so he rephrased. "Not a problem, Ladybug."
ChatNoir became suspicious of this guy warming up to Ladybug so suddenly. She seemed to trust him. Trust inwhich ChatNoir spent so much time gaining with Ladybug, only to have some show-off magically appear and just get it hand it to him. "Ladybug, should we trust him? I don't even know his name."
The man understood ChatNoir's hesitation. The duo had no reason to trust him. Because as far as they knew he could be in kahoots with Hawkmoth and was here to be a saboteur. "Felix Liang."
ChatNoir was taken back as he guessed right on the first name but the last name escaped him. He was more sure that this was his long lost brother but the last name was unfamiliar. Foreign as if Felix had purposely changed it from Agreste to separate himself from his past.
ChatNoir had only one response. "That's a stupid name."
"CHAT!" She glared as it was rude to make fun of someone's name as rarely were they the one that chose it. She then found herself a bit flattered that ChatNoir was acting envious of the connection that her and the new guy was having. It was petty revenge and she was okay with that. She snapped her fingers."Wait! That's it!"
She hurriedly opened the sticks of gum. She began to chew three sticks out of six. She then ran around the courtyard sticking a bit of her gum on the floor until she had to restock. When she was finally done there was a circle around Mr. Pigeon.
Mr. Pigeon laughed at the poor tactics that was disgusting even for a main obsessed with winged rats. "You think this going to stop me?Pigeons will reign supreme! Power to the pigeons!"
Ladybug smiled confidently knowing that Mr. Pigeon's army had the ability to carry him over her trap. But she had a perfect tool to keep him anchored if it was necessary. "You sure about that?"
She traded her yo-yo for ChatNoir's baton. She aimed for the spaces by Mr. Pigeon making him lose his concentration, his control as he tried to dodge Ladybug's attacks. "Dance birdy, dance."
Mr. Pigeon then fell backwards as Felix used his broom to trip Mr. Pigeon. "Haven't done this stuff in years, I think I'm out of practice." He laughed.
ChatNoir held the villain and accidentally sneezed on Mr. Pigeon. Ladybug pried off the shoe as it was unfair for Mr. Pigeon to be subjected to such torture. 'Adrien, really needs to learn to cover his mouth. Can't just sneeze on everybody you don't like. Allergies or not.'
Ladybug split the shoe in half. A easy feat with super strength. Out came a black butterfly with a purple aura. She snatched it up in her yo-yo. Then she threw up the empty gum container and yelled her signature catchphrase that she found unnecessarily annoying the older she got. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!"
Felix stared up at the sky watching it turn briefly pink. "I miss this."
"Umm... would you like my personal number?" Ladybug asked realizing she still possessed Mr. Pigeon's shoe that turned back into a grey loafer. She threw it at ChatNoir.
"HEY!" ChatNoir was not okay with the situation as Ladybug was the one who took care of the confused citizen. She told him that he was not a people person. 'If she only knew.' "I thought our identities had to be a secert."
"Well.. he's uh...." Ladybug was trying to come up with a logical reason to give a stranger her personal number. "I am only giving him, Ladybug's number."
"Really?" ChatNoir squinted his sharp green eyes in disbelief. She preached how important secert identities were day in and day out. Then some civilian helps out and BAM! It doesn't matter anymore. And to think he was worried about her finding out that Marinette now knows when she was being extremely careless. She ordered everyone to follow her rule and it was unfair if she was the only one allowed to break it.
"Hypocrite." He mumbled.
"ChatNoir..." Ladybug called grabbing his arm even if it meant that the chance to question their predecessors slipped through her fingers.
He shrugged her off before heading to the locker room. ChatNoir hated when Ladybug broke her promises as she stated "I hate liars." Then why did she lie? Say that nobody should know who the were. Say that she would not trust anyone more then him but willing to reveal herself to a complete stranger.
A stranger that was his BROTHER, no less. It was unfair. It was unfair that the decision was still tormenting him. He was upset with Ladybug. He had been upset before and wrote it off as it being a natural part of relationships. As they had their highs and lows, no relationship was going to be all highs.
"Going to check on my friend. See you around." He said clenching his fist as he wanted to do their signature 'pound it' but he was tired of playing pretend. As he was not okay.
"Bye, I guess." Ladybug waved feeling a bit bad of getting catch up in the excitement of meeting HER heroes.

Adrien de-transformed as he looked for Marinette. "Where is she? She should be in here somewhere."
He rubbed his nose with shirt hoping to deter a sneeze as his nose was starting to hurt from the force and frequency of the sneezes. "I hate birds."
Plagg laughed finding joy in his Master's misery. "Girls and birds. ChatNoir's greatest weaknesses."
Adrien sighed at Plagg's comments. He was terrible at relationships, he wonder if he should of stay home schooled prehaps then he would not feel like complete and utter crap. Ruining his relationships with the two most important people in his life.
"Hawkmoth? Pfft.... nah it's Mr. Pigeon, he's your real nemesis." Plagg happily mocked.
"She's got to be in here somewhere..." Adrien thought that maybe she hid in a locker. As when he was younger he could fit in one but thanks to his height and build he was no longer capable that. He just tapped on the outside of the lockers. As he had no intention of opening the lockers as he wasn't going to invaded someone's privacy. Especially since he was in the Girl's locker room.
"Adrien?" Ladybug cocked her head wondering why he was in the Girl's locker room as she was planning to de-transform. She then suspected that ChatNoir or Adrien must of seen Marinette go in here and she was the so-called friend he was checking on.
Shortly before entering the locker room she had asked Mr. Ramier why he was so angry with Marinette Dupain-Cheng and to her surprise it was over the derby hat she made years back. Apparently, Gabriel was re-releasing it and it caused DIYers to attempt to recreate it. Some were using real pigeon tail feathers going as far as plucking them straight from the birds. It was animal cruelty and it angered him.
"Ladybug!" His facing turned red as he flailed his hands. "IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!"
"It's not?"
"It's just a misunderstanding, I'm just looking for Marinette. I'm not doing anything weird! I swear!"
Ladybug folded her arms. "I don't believe you." She did infact believe him as he did not partake in the panty raiding parties that the more athletic boys did. He was more behaved then that.
"I know this looks really bad its just I thought maybe she hid in her locker or something."
"Call me crazy, but I feel like I can't believe you."
Adrien got on his knees and placed his hands together. He looked up at Ladybug as he could at least have some sort of decent relationship with Ladybug as Adrien. "Please, believe me."
Ladybug blushed as she had Adrien Agreste, the Alpha begging for forgiveness. Emeralds pleading for forgiveness, a weakness of her's. A weakness that would no doubt lead down a bumpy road. Ladybug placed a hand on his shoulder letting it slowly travel to his neck partly obscured by the hood on his hoodie that coincided with the color of her costume.
Adrien closed his eyes and relaxed his hands. He did not mind if Ladybug wanted to explore him as her touch was something he had always yearned for. That he wanted. He cursed himself knowing that if he let this continue he would let his worry for Marinette be wiped away. Destroyed by the actions and voice of his Lady. Being devoured by long suppressed desires.
Her hand made its way up to his cheek before she opened his mouth grazing his canines with her thumb. "Alpha..." She muttered. She wanted to know what it felt like. 'Does it hurt to be bitten? To bond? Because it certainly hurts to love.'
Adrien opened his eyes and furrowed his brows. He did not want her to choose him for his sub-sex. "Don't." It sounded more like as a desperate plea than anything else. Begging her to make the decision to stop as he knew their would be a time where he lost all reasoning. A time that was coming sooner the excepted.
Ladybug bit her lip as she did not get a chance to see Adrien make such delectable facial expressions. She wanted to sear it into her memory as it was unfair that Adrien got to see her ugly side. She wanted to see his. The side he was afraid of. They were partners, he wasn't supposed to hide anything. Anything at all.
He was supposed to bare everything. Good or bad, they were supposed to be in this together. To protect each each other. But, who supposed to protect them from each other now that she knew? She could not blame this situation on hormones or instinct. She was in full control of her faculties. Or so she thought.
"Chaton..." She called before leaning down and nearly brushing his lips with hers. Before they could collided and dive head first in another bout of passion. Adrien stood up, walked a few steps and turned away from her.
'Thump!' 'Thump!' His heart was thumping out of his chest as he wanted to kiss her. There was no doubt but she called him Chaton. "How did... when did..." He was trying to calm himself down. He did not what hormones or pheromones to screw up his chance to hear her explain herself.
"Not that long ago, I accidentally found out."
"Is this why you...." He rolled his lips trying to forget that he had just forgoed his fantasies.
"I think so." Ladybug wrapped her arms around herself and tightened her grip. "I know it makes me, a bad person. But, I have always loved Adrien Agreste. It's really stupid and frustrating because I know very well... this is all a waste of time."
She figured that Adrien would not choose her unless he felt obligated to. That he needed to claim her before anybody else could take advantage of her. He was a righteous idiot. Sacrificing his wants to protect her. To be a knight rescuing a damsel.
"Ladybug... that's unfair." He bit the inside of his cheek. He looked up as he could not look at her. She looked so vulnerable. Her walls were falling down and despite this he knew if he were to look at her that he would be the one to collapse. "I have always loved you, but we can't."
"I understand, completely." She smiled feeling disappointed as she was willing to give herself to him. To let him have the person he spoke so fondly off. The person he called affectionately, 'Bug' 'M'Lady' 'Bugaboo.' Names that he failed to call her when they fought Mr. Pigeon.
Adrien glanced down as she sounded so wounded as if she thought he was guaranteed yes. He took a few steps as he needed to comfort her. To explain that this was the right time to just talk. Since they couldn't be together until he made his decision.
"Adrien?" She found his hand on her cheek. Her skin softer and warmer then he remembered or perhaps it was the heat of them. The heat of two people who have loved each for so long but knew it was taboo. Forbidden. Making this whatever this was more exciting, more interesting.
She fond her breath slower as she was trying to keep her composure. 'Is he trying to comfort me?'
Adrien wanted her to tell him what the best course of action was. She was good at that. He knew it would be so much easier if he was just a boy standing infront girl confessing words of affirmation. To ignore secert identities, to ignore responsibilities, to repeat what he did with Marinette but with HER.
He grazed her bottom lip with his thumb. "Got any bright ideas, bug?"
"You're the cat, don't you have a bad habit of eating unsuspecting bugs?"
