Our head enter the fray to fight against Skeleton Soldiers and Wyverns. Soren in Kikaider form slashes each skeleton soldiers with his electric slashes. Fire an X Slash destroying couple of monsters. Looks around the battlefield as he saw many dead bodies of soldier either rip apart or cover in blood. Grip his mechanical fists tightly.

Kikaider: 'All these men...dead. I won't forgive them for this'.

With Salter fire a few dark beams from her Excalibur Morgan to kill some low ranking wyverns. Mealter spin her scythe going for a full swing, next uses her long dark purple hair it created wrap each monsters even crushes them. Cu uses her staff like a lance stabbed onto the ground lifted herself up in order to dodge an incoming attack from both skeleton soldiers, kicked them at the same time. Cu fires a mana blast to take those two down permanently. Shiraori fires a Mirage Arrows taken down many enemies as possible. Mash came down with her blade beneath her shield that destroyed one of the skeleton soldiers, spin around to smack a wyvern from behind that try attack her. Gudako fires a couple of Gandr and offensive mage craft to defend themselves against hostiles. Melfina flew fast speeds and slashed each monster with her spears and slashes a wyvern into two! Suddenly a huge wyvern flew down from the sky as it roars at our heroes.

Mash: !!!

French Soldier: Damn it, just as I thought! Here they come, engage!

French Soldier 2: Come on, stand up! Dragons are here! If you don't resist, they'll eat you!

Dr Romani: Large creatures are shown to be near you! They're moving fast!

Mash: Visual confirmed! But that...

Gudako: That Wyvern slightly bigger!

Mash: All these Wyvern shouldn't be in the 15th century France.

Kikaider: So basically somebody is fucking up the timeline.

Dr Romani: It's coming!

Mash: Master, respond with full force! This is difference from those old bones from earlier!

Everything as canon like we headed toward the forest to get away from the soldiers so Jeanne could talk to us about our current situation. We introduced ourselves to the Holy Maiden, Jeanne explained her rank and abilities were down graded because something went wrong with the materialization Basically she's not in full strength. Heard the French Soldiers said about Jeanne became a Dragon Witch. Jeanne only materialize a few hours ago. Jeanne did you start there must be another Jeanne d'Arc in this Singularity as well, that murdered King Charles VII of France, and committed the slaughter of Orleans. More monsters came at us as we defeated them, although Jeanne was struggling since her stats has been havled. She made a pact with Gudako for now. Finally we were able to rest! I sat down laying onto a tree. Then started to remember what happen earlier remembering those soldiers who were murdered by those monsters. I sigh.

Soren:......

The very memories of how gruesome it was. It made me feel sick in my stomach, part of me felt guilty not able to get there on time to save them. I sigh feeling depressed.

???: Is something the matter?

I look to see Jeanne with a worried expression.

Soren (fake smile): Oh no. I'm okay.

Jeanne sat down next to me. Glances at me.

Jeanne: Your not okay. I don't mind lending an ear.

Soren:.....

Jeanne: Is it what happen earlier from the battlefield in front of the castle?

I nodded.

Soren: Never seen such a gruesome like that before. Made me feel sick. Guilty. Some of them died in a horrible way.... If only I was there sooner to save them.

Jeanne: What I've learned from my time when I was alive. You can't save everyone. It hurts knowing that. They all died fighting to protect everyone behind those castle walls. All we can do is to keep fighting in their place. Making sure their deaths weren't in vain.

Soren:.....

What Jeanne said is true. But.....it's frustrating stuff like this is gonna often. I never seen dead bodies before until now, only see it on movies, comics and you named it. I'm real life in anime style can be disturbing. The worst party they were alive. Murder by monsters who were sent by the Dragon Witch herself. I grip my hands. Now feel determine to stop her no matter what!

Soren: 'I will avenge them'!

Jeanne: Also..... I know you're not from this world.

Soren: !!!

Jeanne: Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me.

Soren: Let me guess God gave that info?

Jeanne: Yes. I am sorry how-

Soren (smile): It's okay. I just hope Sasaki is okay. I wonder what she's doing? Do you know?

Jeanne shook her head no. Figures as much. Oh well. If she knows I'm from another world then Jeanne probably knows Melfina is the goddess who reincarnated me into this world and gave me these abilities.

Jeanne: I feel kinda awful not able to be useful in a fight. I'm sorry.

Soren: Huh? You don't have to be sorry about that. Shit happens. Wasn't your fault the materialization went wrong. We have your back, Jeanne. Plus you're still pretty strong in my opinion.

I smile at Jeanne who smiled back at me.

Jeanne: Thank you, Soren. I needed to hear that.

With Olga in her office working the last of the paperwork until she felt a disturbance, unclear where the feeling is coming from.

Olga: 'Why do I feel my heart tighten just now'?

Back with everyone. Gudako and Mash made a small glance as they saw Jeanne and Soren getting along a bit too well.

Melfina: 'Better have that conversation with them as soon as possible once we find a proper place to stay'.
