Chapter 17

Caster was seen flying towards Kuzuki's location. Since she managed to be a good diversion for Avenger, she swiftly made her way back to her Master. However, the moment she arrived to where her Master was, she couldn't believe her eyes.

Kuzuki's body was being crushed as it restrained by the Master of the servant she just distracted. However, Hibari wasn't in great shape either. Judging from the blood escaping from his body, Caster could tell he was struck by Kuzuki. Yet it seems Hibari hasn't noticed her presence.

"I'll bite you to death, Souichiro!!!!"

As Hibari tighten the handcuffs' grip on Kuzuki's body, he noticed how Kuzuki hasn't screamed in pain once. Instead, the teacher was just looking at him. This alone made Hibari glare back at him. It's like the thought of dying didn't bother him at all.

"This is the end, Ku-"

"I agree, it is the end. Though it's not the end of my Master, boy."

Before Hibari could process what happened, a huge gust of wind sent his body crashing into a tree. As this happened, the handcuffs surrounding Kuzuki's body were no longer crushing him as they fell off of his body, a piece of his right sleeve being torn in the process. When he looked to the sky, he saw his servant looking down upon Hibari as she flew towards his side.

"That damn boy, how dare he do this?!"

"That's enough. Withdraw, Caster."

"As you wish."

Hearing her Master's words, Caster encircled Kuzuki with her robe as she transported her Master and herself back to Ryudou Temple. While this happened, the sound of rushing footsteps echoed through the night. After coming to a sudden halt, the figure looked at Hibari. Blood escaped from the top of the boy's head as he was seriously wounded by Kuzuki.

Avenger looked at its Master's injured state. Considering it can still hear him breathing, it's obvious that the boy was still alive, but something bothered him. He ran as fast as he could to check on his master, despite the fact that he was human.

"If this human died, that would've been the end of me. However, it's not as though I have any need to save him. After all, hating humans is the one aspect of me that'll never vanish. Yet why did I come rushing to his ai-"

"He thought he could get away from me after causing trouble on my territory. He's got a lot of nerve to leave me alive."

As Avenger heard this voice, he looked towards Hibari. The Servant was honestly shocked that Hibari could still stand. As Hibari began to walk forward, he picked up a piece of Kuzuki's sleeve.

"Ookami-san, I got a favor I need of you."

As Avenger turned around, it saw the look in Hibari's eyes. The look of a angered animal, ready to sink its fangs into anyone causing trouble in his territory. Avenger could tell, Hibari wants nothing more than to bite Caster and her Master to death.

"It'll be annoying having to deal with Caster AND her Master on my own. Yet this human before me, I can tell, he's just as starved for vengeance as I am. We have something in common. We hate being restrained, we hate the thought of crowding, but most of all....we hate losing our prey."

Before Hibari knew it, Avenger complied with his request and began to sniff the sleeve from Kuzuki's shirt. After learning the scent, the wolf merely sat down. As it looked at Hibari, it thought to itself as the headless rider lifts Hibari onto the wolf's back.

"It'll take too long to go after that damn witch if he can't keep up. At least he seems to understand. We've each got our own prey, the moment we get to their location, it's an all-out death battle. Not only that, HE seems to be keeping a close eye on us as well."

Soon Avenger howled as it ran with incredible speed. As this happened, the headless rider held onto Hibari to make sure the boy didn't fall off. While the wolf was running at incredible speed, Hibari was silent as he already knew what he had to do, not knowing that both him and his servant were being watched.

"I'll bite him to death."

~Meanwhile~
"If i'm to make a guess, Hibari Kyoya should be engaging a fight against Caster and her Master."

Archer was thinking to himself as he was back at Tohsaka Manor. While he was waiting for Rin, he was thinking about what to do next. Leading Hibari to Rin and Shirou's location so he could fight Caster and her Master worked perfectly. If he managed to somehow kill her or even wound her master severely, it'll make taking them out easier. If he were to die, that would mean his enigma of a servant will be gone as well.

"So you've returned, Rin. Judging from your expression, I take it that things did not go well with Caster."

"You guessed right. Turns out that our theory was correct. Kuzuki is the master of Caster. However, we couldn't defeat Caster or Kuzuki. Now he's most likely going to stay in Ryudou Temple."

"Rin......while it is true that he may stay in the temple, it's not for the reason you think. It's not that he won't leave the temple, it's that he can't leave the temple after tonight."

Rin looked at Archer in confusion. After everything she relayed to him, what made him come to that conclusion? Seeing the look on her face, Archer let a sigh escape from him as he had one thing to say to her.

"It seems you and I have made a miscalculation, Rin. After having to deal with him twice, we should've learned by now. We can't underestimate the people in this city. He's living proof of that fact."

~With Kuzuki~
After being transported, Kuzuki and Caster arrived at the bottom of the stairs leading to the temple. As Caster looked at Kuzuki, she noticed how much damage he's taken.

"That wolf's master did this much damage to Souichiro? So not only do we have another servant with raw strength equal to Berserker's, but a Master capable of doing this much damage to my Master."

"Caster, it would seem we have a threat just as big as Berserker. Plus unlike the Master's we've faced so far, this one is far more experienced in combat. Should he ally with Emiya or Tohsaka, we may find ourselves in a corner."

Caster knew that her Master was a strong human. Along with her reinforcing him, he could take out a servant if he takes them by surprise upon the first encounter. That element of surprise is gone now, however, she is still confident they can take out Archer's Master and take Saber with ease. Before she could question Kuzuki, she suddenly felt a servant's presence approaching them at high speed.

"Souichiro, fl-"

Before she knew it, Caster felt her torso being pierced by fangs. As her blood stains the ground, her body was released from the jaws of the best as it swiped its claw at the witch. As a large claw mark was now present on the woman's back, Caster screamed in pain as she was sent flying through several trees. As Avenger dashed towards the servant, Kuzuki looked forward as he saw one person approaching him.

"For you to still be standing and to come after me. You're a ferocious one, Hibari Kyoya."

"I thought I made it clear. I'm going to bite you to death, Kuzuki!"

Soon a large amount of Cloud Flames emerged from Hibari's Cloud Bracelet. His irritation and hunger for battle were at their peak in this moment. Soon all of the flames were being pushed into the Cloud Bracelet as Roll appeared in front of Hibari. Soon Kuzuki saw a bright sphere surrounded by spikes appearing as it grew in size.

"What is this, Hibari Kyoya?"

"This is your execution. Reverse Needle Sphere Form."

After having to shield his eyes for a few seconds, Kuzuki opened them only to see that Hibari and himself were no longer at Ryuudou Temple. When he looked around he saw that he was in an area with a blue sky that had spikes jutting out of invisible spherical walls.

"Roll created a completely separate space that does not allow the presence of any other than the selected individuals. Anything outside of the sphere cannot interfere with anything inside, and vice versa."

"I se-"

As Kuzuki was about to speak, he noticed something. He was having difficulty breathing. When he looked at Hibari, he saw the boy holding his tonfas in his hands.

"When I created this sphere, the Cloud Flames burned so heavily that they consume oxygen. In order to maintain itself, the oxygen continues to decrease rapidly. You can try to escape with brute force, but you'll leave yourself wide open for me. You can focus on me, but risk losing more oxygen."

"A situation with depleting oxygen and spikes at every angle. A true fight to the death."

"Burn this into to your memory, Kuzuki. This is what happens when you disturb the order in my territory."
