We meet again

Sasuke and I exited the building and got into his sleek black car. "What was that? I told you not to go to him."
He sat down firmly, looking out the window instead of at me.
"It's fine, it's just a pen. He's your client anyway. You don't want to piss him off."
"He pissed me off." He folded his arms sternly.

"You haven't changed a bit. Still as little patience as ever." Before I turned to the window, I saw him finally looking at my direction.

The rest of the trip back to the office was eerily silent.

When we arrived at the office, he was cold to me again. Extremely cold.

"Finish this up before you go." He handed me a pile of documents to vet through for any corrections in the agreements and contracts with all of our new partners and investors.

I sank into my chair, "What? All of them? There's no way. Half of the day is already gone because of the meeting. And I haven't even had my lunch!"

"Then start working." He walked out of our shared office, going to meet the next client.

It was about 9pm when I was about done with all the contracts and paper work. I had sent emails regarding the terms and conditions we had missed to my cruel boss, that made me stay till late for this. My stomach was growling fiercely when I remembered I have not taken lunch.

A plastic bag plopped down onto my table.

I looked up to see my boss, standing there.

"Here's your dinner. I figured you'll still be here, slowpoke." He drove all the way back to give me this? It was as though he cared.

There were two sets of bento. One of them were his. "Thanks, I'll go freshen up and join you." Staring 10 hours at your computer screen and papers with nothing but words made me really woozy.

"Don't take too long. I'm hungry." I heard his words as I bolted out to the bathroom.

I was splashing warm water on my face when I felt my phone in my pocket vibrating.
It was an unknown number.

"Hello?" I answer, confused at who would call me at such a late timing.
"Hello, this is Naruto Uuzmaki, yeah?" I immediately recognised that conceited voice. It was the creepy client from earlier today.

"Yeah..-"

"My secretary has brought to my attention that we are missing of one witness signature in the contract. Are you free to meet tonight? We would like to get this deal done and processed immediately."

"Oh, tonight?" I looked at my watch. "But it's already 9:30pm."

"Yes, meet me at 10pm at AngelShots' Pub." He hung up before I could even decline his offer.

But I knew I had to go. I didn't want to be of burden to Sasuke's deals based on my carelessness. I quickly made a mad dash out of the building to catch a taxi.

I arrived at the entrance of AngelShots. There was a security guard outside, checking IDs.
I gave my ID and the bulky man allowed me to pass.

"Hello, Naruto Uzumaki.."
