By the time the docks had cleared, the moon was just peeking over the horizon. The sun was already setting, practically gone completely.
I shivered slightly at the much colder temperatures of the water, before moving out from under the boat and leaving.
I may have better vision than humans, however, I still struggled to see through the dark waters. The moon barely even outlined objects in the waters. I was continually numbing into things and it was aggravating.
Soon, though, I was far enough away from shore, that there were no more boats nor underwater vegetation in the way.
I swam farther out, speedily making my way to any near by food sources, preferably a school of large fish. I was starving.
About 30 minutes out, I sensed disturbances in the water, and heard the multiple fins of fish. I was right in front of a large family of fast fish. If I wanted to eat, than I would have to be just as fast.
That shouldn't be a problem. I can be quite fast, thanks to my long lithe tail.
Not a moment later, I had two fish in my hands. They were still alive.
I dug my claws into their flesh, piercing through their tough scales easily. They had no chances of surviving if they manage to escape now.
I would have to eat them quickly if I didn't want to attract sharks because, again, they can be vicious.
I swam to the ocean floor as I snapped one of the fishes head off. I proceeded to tear it off and toss it beside me. I not so cleanly shoveled it down, tearing through the tender flesh before moving on to the next.
I didn't have to worry about their bone, as I easily bit through them. They were soft fish; easy to digest.
Once the fish were completely consumed and my stomach full, I slid under a nearby rock. It had a small burrow like hole under neath; large enough for me to fit in.
I took the liberty of curling up inside and fell asleep. It was surprisingly comfortable.

I sprinted to my dads boat, ignoring the shouts of Allura and Shiro behind me. I climbed inside the boat with a broad smile on my face.
Yesterday, Shiro and I were discussing our activities for today. After all, summer doesn't last forever, we had to do as much as possible before it ended.
I wanted to go fishing, but Shiro wanted to do something at our apartment. Yes, we all shared an apartment.
Anyways, Hunk wanted to stay home as well, and Pidge wanted to come with me. Allura didn't care, as long as we were all having fun, and Coran had to work.
Long story short, Shiro lost to me in rock-paper-scissors and I needed to use my dads boat, which was larger than my other boat, to go fishing with everyone.
I ran behind the controls of the boat, which stood elevated to the rest of the boat, as Allura and the rest climbed aboard.
Excitedly, I put the keys into the ignition and turned on this baby. The engine roared to life, causing water to sputter out of a back tube that hung from the back end of the boat.
"Let's get this baby moving." I said as I gently eased the boat forwards. Smoothly, it complied.
I couldn't get the silly grin off my face. I wouldn't be surprised if it stuck that way.
It didn't take long before I could barely see land.
I looked over at my friends to see they're discussing who does what and when. I smiled and walked down the elevated part of the boat to them.
"Okay, Lance, you can fish while the rest of us go diving. Hunk will be with you, though." Shiro explained as they got out the equipment from underneath the couches that lined the boat.
I nodded, accepting the idea, and they began getting dressed in their suits. It was a bit of a struggle fastening their tanks and hooking it up to their masks.
Eventually, they were all ready to dive and Hunk and I had our gear for fishing.
Whilst hooking some bait on my hook, Allura, Shiro, and Pidge dove into the clear waters.
Though the waters were pretty clear, I couldn't see the ocean floor. We were currently in the deeper parts of the ocean that were close to the Florida shores.
I swung my hook over the boat and out into the ocean before settling down on the seat and waiting patiently.
"Um... I think- I think I may need some... help..." Hunk said from behind me.
I turned around and busted out laughing at the absurd sight. Somehow, Hunk had managed to wrap the string of the fishing rod around himself with the hook harshly pulling at his mouth.
Thankfully, he had a hook meant for bigger fish, so it wasn't small enough to cut through his skin. But I bet it still was annoying.
"Ha-ha, very funny. Now can you please help?" Hunk whined desperately.
I nodded between hysterical laughter. I began pulling and tugging on the string, trying to unwind it, only to fail as Hunk groaned in pain.
"Oh, wow. That's really stuck."

Something disturbed the waters around me, causing me to awake from my slumber within my temporary slumber.
Groggily, I opened my eyes to see familiar surroundings. I was still inside the rock. I unfurled and peered out to see the commotion.
Three divers were swimming about.
Oh, f***...
