Damon and I were waiting, with the other people here, for the girls to starts walking down. Some already have, but we were looking for one in particular. It was really obvious who that person was. There also seemed to be a very important person who was missing. Can you guess who? For those of you who guessed Stefan, you are completely right. He was nowhere to be seen ever since Damon had told Elena and I about what he was doing.

I continued to look around the room expecting to see him pop up out of nowhere. I unfortunately had no luck with that. I leaned closer to Damon and whispered, "Where's Stefan?" He didn't look away from the girls walking down and meeting their escorts.

He whispered to me as well, "I have no idea." I sighed as I told him that I would go look for him. I still couldn't find him no matter how much I looked. I came back to where Damon was standing. He gave me a questioning look and I shook my head.

Just then, Mayor Lockwood called out, "Miss Elena Gilbert, escorted by Mister Stefan Salvatore." Damon looked around to see if he could get any glimpse of his younger brother.

I elbowed him and he looked over at me, "Step in," He gave me a slightly confused look. I could see Elena walking down the stairs in her blue dress in the corner of me eye. I gestured over to her, "Step in for Stefan." Damon didn't hesitate and did exactly that. He stood at the bottom of the stairs and Elena joined him with a smile. Damon took her hand and they joined the other girls and their escorts. I followed them outside wanting to watch.

The girls stood on one side while the boys stood on the other. The music was playing in the background as they stared at each other. I watched as the dance had begun with a smile. The dance was actually kind of short much to my dismay. The dance ended with the girls and their escorts going back to their original places. I clapped with a smile along with everyone else.

I was walking around the room full of people. I'm currently trying to find someone that I know. I was having no luck though. I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt someone grab my arm. The person dragged me off somewhere and I looked to see that it was Damon who was following Elena. We walked over to a more empty part of the room.

"What's up?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"What is it, did you find him?" Elena also asked.

"There were signs of a struggle in the upstairs bathroom. There was blood and that Amber girl is missing." Damon explained.

I sighed, "That's just... great."

Elena gasped in slight shock and shook her head, "Oh my god! He wouldn't hurt her, he won't!"

"Let's just find him, okay?" Damon told us. Damon started leading us away from the crowded room, "Let's get your coats. Come on." Then we went off to see if we could find Stefan.

We were running around the woods looking for any sign of Stefan. Suddenly, a loud scream broke through the silence. Damon and I shared a look as we ran towards the scream. Elena followed behind us. We arrive to see that Stefan was drinking Amber's, who was completely terrified, blood. "Stefan!" Elena called out. Stefan immediately released the blonde and she fell to the ground.

"Stefan, what are you doing?" I inquired with wide eyes. I was still in shock at what had just happened. I have been with Stefan for awhile and he never usually acted like that. I only saw it one or two times. No matter how much I saw it thought, it always seemed to surprise and shock me to my very core.

Damon wouldn't let us get any closer, "Stefan, come on, get control. It's okay, come on. Breath through it man." I looked beside of me when I heard the sound of footsteps to see Bonnie walking towards us. My attention was brought back over to the boys when Stefan picked up Damon and threw him into a tree.

I quickly step in between Damon and Stefan, "Stefan, stop this right now! This isn't you! I know you," I could hear Damon shouting for me to step out of the way, but I didn't. Stefan continued to walk towards me. "Stefan, come on. I know you're in there somewhere." Stefan suddenly stopped and I thought that I had finally gotten through to him. I had a smile on my face, but it fell off when I realized that he had a painful look on his face. I turned to see that Bonnie was the one causing his pain. After a minute or two, Bonnie finally stopped.

Damon, who was now up, took cautious steps forward, "It's okay. Stefan." Stefan had wide eyes and he looked at all of us for a second of two. He finally ran off into the woods. I tried to run after him, but Damon stopped me.

I tried to fight my way out of his hold, "Damon, we can't just leave him alone! We need to help him!"

Damon turned me to face him, "We will, but we don't need you rushing into danger. We will help him, but let's just come up with a plan first," I tried to protest, "No. Charlotte, we have to wait." I stared at him for a few moments before reluctantly and unwillingly agreeing.

After awhile, the police had arrived and Sheriff Forbes was still in her dress. She was talking with Amber when she started walking over to the four of us. "She doesn't remember what happened." Liz stated as she walked.

"it's a good thing the girls got here when they did, she lost a lot of blood." Damon lied to the Sheriff. That was our cover-up story that Damon had quickly come up with. We couldn't exactly tell her that Stefan had almost drained Amber of all of her blood. She would try to kill him for sure.

She turned to Bonnie, Elena, and I, "You didn't see anything?" I looked over at the two girls to see that they couldn't think of anything.

I quickly said, "No. We had just found her like that and we decided to call Damon for help."

"Is she gonna be okay?" Bonnie questioned after I replied.

Sheriff Forbes nodded, "It looks like it yeah. Why don't you girls get back to the party? Damon and I can take it from here."

"Okay." Elena responded. I wanted to stay and listen to what they were going to say, but that would obviously be suspicious. So I had to go back to the party with Bonnie and Elena while Damon stayed with Liz.
