Virtual confetti fluttered down from the top of the screen as an upbeat song played over the call. The chat went absolutely wild, spamming message after message celebrating the German streamer's victory. Meanwhile, Nihachu was positively shocked by the news. She was utterly speechless, unable to speak in the moments after her win was announced.

"Nihachu, congratulations on your win today," Austin cheered. "Is there anything you'd like to say to Y/n before we end the show?"

The German queen smiled. "Yes, I would like to say something, actually. Thank you so much for choosing me, Y/n! I'm honored to have made it this far, but. Having you pick me was the cherry on top. I can't wait for our platonic date when I move to (your country here) next month! I'll see you then!" You returned Nihachu's wave as the streamer logged off, happy to see the creator was so joyful with her win.

"Eret!" Austin called. "Sorry you didn't make it in today's episode. Do you have any final words for Y/n?"

The bi royal cleared his throat. "Yeah, I just wanted to say no hard feelings, Y/n. It's been great getting to know you, and congratulations on coming out today. That takes a lot of courage. I wish you all the best." And just like that, Eret was gone, leaving you and Austin alone on stream.

"Well, Y/n, it's time to find out if Nihachu was the right choice, or if Eret would have been a better option. Both Nihachu and Eret picked...LOVE!!!"

Your head was still reeling from the emotional upheaval choosing Nihachu had caused; this only sent your mind into a tailspin. To think that Nihachu, your third platonic crush, had reciprocated your feelings was truly a miracle. You felt incredible, special,...and wanted. Of course, you were flattered by Eret choosing love, but your heart was firmly fixed on Nihachu...and a few others.

"Y/n! Congratulations on ultimately winning the show!" Austin exclaimed. "How do you feel?"

You shrugged. "I'm very excited that both Nihachu and Eret chose love, but I'm also really sad. I just feel bad for having to vote off the other candidates." Like Minx and Puffy, you internally grieved. If you could have been friends with any content creators, you would have called Niahchu, Minx, and Puffy. After all, those three were your platonic crushes. Being poly-amorous wasn't easy, especially when it came to discerning your feelings. It was natural for you to feel a level of platonic affection for multiple people at the same time, hence why you identified as poly-amorous. The only problem with that was when you tried explaining the concept of it to your crush.

Usually, it would end in teasing and tears, or bullying at the worst. That's why you had kept quiet all these years when asked about gender, sexuality, and the like. The fact that Nihachu returned your feelings, even if while playing a game show, gave you hope for tomorrow. At least one of your platonic crushes definitively liked you.

"Aww, Y/n, you're so sweet," Austin cooed. "Don't worry about the others. They'll be just fine." The host of the stream then turned towards his webcam and said, "Thank you to everyone at home watching the stream today! We hope you had a good time, and that you'll join us in the next episode!"

As the outro music played, you couldn't help but wonder if the other candidates were really okay once they had left the stream. You wondered how Minx must have felt, or Puffy. You sighed. There was no way of ever knowing for sure. It's not like they'd ever answer your DM's- they were popular streamers for crying out loud! They wouldn't waste their time on a part-time creator.

A small smile graced your lips as you thought about your future platonic date with Nihachu...It would be absolutely perfect. You were sure of it.

I felt that the story needed one last chapter to keep a good flow, so here we are!
