Liam grew up in a home with limited love. His parents were often more interested in themselves than their children, seeing as all of their children were unplanned. Liam has taken care of his sisters since the moment they were born, raising them as his own, even though he was just shy of seventeen when they were born. His pack wasn't one of unfair rule, but often pack members didn't get involved with other family matters. Him presenting as an omega during puberty didn't help with his relationship with his parents, or his pack's relationship with him, seeing as omegas are often seen as docile creatures, which is out of place in a pack that prides itself in its strength.

Ethan Theodore Seren

Ethan is the younger twin by twelve minutes, and his brother liked to shove that little piece of information at him when they were younger. He has always been the more adventurous one, seeking thrills that usually gave his parents heart attacks. This inability to hold himself back from adventures leaked over into his social life. He was often known as the one who would just say what was on his mind, the only time he was ever quiet was when he was upset. This is how his brother could tell if he was pretending or if something truly had offended him.

Erik Nathaniel Seren

Erik is the oldest twin by twelve minutes, something that he took great pride in when he was younger. He knew from the moment he was born that it was his responsibility to protect his thrill seeking little brother. He was the one who held onto his brother's foot for four minutes while he dangled over the side of the crib, refusing to let his brother get hurt. He still sees it as his responsibility to protect Ethan when he does something reckless, which has led to him snapping at his brother when he was irritated. But, Erik will always see himself as his brother's protector, and that belief has only grown stronger since they mated.

James Seren

James was often like Ethan when he was younger, getting involved in things that others told him not to. One of those things happened to be Maya, a visiting alpha's daughter. His girlfriend at the time- and later mate- Maria, fell just as much in love with the visiting wolf. Their tryst had lasted the entire summer, the three of them inseparable. Yet, Maya's parents dragged her back home, not thinking it was right for her to be involved with a mated couple. Maria and James had been heartbroken for a long time, only starting to heal when Maria got pregnant with the twins a few years later. Neither of them forgot their other partner, though, and often thought of the possibilities if she hadn't been dragged away.

When Maya came into the picture, she felt like she was on even footing with both of them, leaveandand that's why she fell so heavily in love. For the first time, alphas were not looking down on her. So, when she had seen Liam's father beating him, she couldn't hold herself back. No one deserved to be hit, and the way Liam hadn't fought back told her that he was used to the beatings. That had only made her madder. She had taken him under her wing after that, knowing that he needed someone to teach him that being strong wasn't a bad thing. Until her dying breath, that was her mission, because no one deserves to feel inferior.

Taylor Kayne Alexander:

Taylor was raised by his grandparents, his parents only in his life sporadically. They were there enough to make an impact on his life, often degrading him for having an opinion since they saw him as useless. His grandparents raised him with love and patience, something a skittish child needed. They taught him that he was special for being an omega, that he could choose to bring another life into the world if he wanted to. He took that to heart, deciding that he would wait for his mate in order to have a child. Then the warriors came and slaughtered his grandparents in front of him, taking him away from the only home he knew. He got pregnant by force and then lost his baby by force. He became broken, never thought he would heal again. But then his new pack members had come, more importantly, Tate. Because even though Tate wasn't his mate- he still doesn't understand why- he was the other half of his soul. Tate was just as patient as his grandparents had been, and protected him even when he was being stubborn. So he loved Tate, and will be with him for the rest of his life.

Tate grew up with a loving family, his parents always encouraging their children to do what they loved. Being the oldest sibling, Tate had been subject to some more pressures, but he knew his parents were always there for him. When the infection started to spread, his sister was one of the first ones to fall ill. That was why they were so easy to attack when the Warriors came, everyone exhausted from taking care of his nine-year-old sister. His mother had refused to leave her behind, while his father dragged him and Elliot behind him when the alphas attacked their pack lands. His father had died when an alpha had tried to kill Elliot, yelling for Tate to take his brother and run. So that's what he did, and he was on his own for a few months before he met the twins. He had been wary at first but decided to trust them, and luckily he did. Because they led him to his other half. Meeting Taylor had filled a hole in his heart, and then when Rosalie was born, he felt complete. Because his parents would be proud that he didn't get stuck behind in grief, but moved forward to find a new family.

Micah Augustus Klein

Micah's parents hadn't been abusive, per say, but they were neglectful. That was how his older brother got saddled with him at only the age of six. He had taken his role very seriously and still does to this day. When his brother started bringing Jesse around, Micah though he might die from love. His heart had done a little pitter patter when he first laid eyes on his mate, and he knew that he wouldn't be able to stay away, so he didn't even try. He often trailed behind the two friends, neither of them minding much. But then the mating ceremonies had come, and Jesse turned him down. He was heartbroken but determined. He knew that Jesse didn't like that Micah was underage, especially with him being seven years older. So he decided to wait, and even though they had to go through a lot of shit, at the end of the day, they got their happily ever after.

Jesse Blue Davis

Jesse grew up knowing that he would never be the leader of his pack, despite his father being the alpha. But his parents never treated him any less, always encouraging him to be himself. That was a problem for Jesse, though. He was quiet and stubborn as all hell. That's why he was such good friends with Levi, who was the exact opposite. Then, when he found out that Levi's little brother was his mate, he thought that he would lose his only friend. He saw how protective Levi was of Micah, and didn't know whether being with Micah was worth the risk of losing his best friend from kindergarten. Add in the fact that Micah was only sixteen when they did the mating run, and Jesse knew he had to stay far away. Luckily, Micah was persistent, because if he had been anything less, they probably wouldn't have overcome their troubles and ended up happily mated with two babies.
