As her vision came back she could see deep red eyes searching her. She lifted her hand to his cheek and ran the back of it along his soft skin and every feeling she had for Yan had vanished in that moment.

"Hi." She said with a playful smile.

She was waiting for a charming response back from him, but instead, he lowered his head into her chest and sighed.

"Cu?"

"Veda, you...you were almost lost again. The curse took you and turned you into one of those zombies. Rider has been keeping it at bay until now."

She placed her hands on the back of his head, stroking his hair trying to think of how that had even happened.

Did I take too much curse in? All I remember is cleansing the dead below us, after Shannara....oh my god.

"We lost Shannara..." She whispered as the realization came over her.

"Yeah." He whispered back.

"Where is Rider?" She asked through gritting teeth.

Cu sat up looking at her, he shakes his head.
"She's helped us out and had promised to take you as her master. Although I'm not sure how she will do that since you already have me."

It was then she remembered, the dagger Medea has given her at their last meeting. Her eyes widen as she realizes she has lost it back at the hospital. She opens her hands, I need that dagger!...if I was able to bring it with me back from the dream world, then maybe...maybe I can.. she pictures the blade in her hands, similar to the way Shirou does it.

Then she says the words. "Trace on." her hands glow green, and suddenly the dagger appears, it's structure builds in her hands as she remembers each detail.

"Is...that what I think it is? How did you do that?" Cu asks.

"Medea, she gave it to me last time I saw her. I don't know how, but I was able to bring it back with me through my dream. Maybe the dreams are more real than I thought." She tucks the dagger underneath her pillow for now until she can get some new gear on.

"So Medea is on our side then?."

"No, she...is something else now. No longer her original self."

He sighs.
"Damn...Well you can take as many servants under you as you need to now." He replied nervously and slightly disappointed.

"Yeah...but no one compares to you." She reassured him. He smiled and kisses her gently.

His kiss has sparked her more sexual desires now, and things start to get heated. Veda found herself desperately clinging to his love in that moment. She took his hand and placed it on her breast forcing him into doing more than just kiss her. He took it without any hesitation, dematerializing his pauldrons and shirt then climbed on top of her placing himself between her legs. He grabbed her waist and pulled her into him further, then kissed her again. While they kissed he ran his hands down the front of the kimono she was wearing, undoing the ribbon that held it together around her waist. He sits up looking at her through eyes that held so much desire for her it pained her heart. She wanted him just as badly.

He took his hands, starting from her shoulders, he tucked his fingers underneath the fabric and pushed it open, sliding them down the front of her, feeling every part of her body he could touch until the kimono was completely open. She watched his expression, feeling a bit shy, she was wondering what he was thinking. His gaze was unsettling, or it could just be her insecurity.

"I want you so badly." He whispers.

But before she could answer there was a knock at the door. They both wince and curse at the same time.

"Fuck sake..seriously?!" Cu whispered.

"What?" He snaps.

"It's... Jax, I-I got some food here...I can come back."

Veda's stomach rumbles. Cu looks down at her and she giggles. He sighs.

"Give me a sec." He called to Jax. He kisses her stomach multiple times before sitting up again.

"You need to eat." Cu he says and materializes his clothes and armor.

Veda whines.
"Alright, I swear we never get any time alone and when we do I'm always unconscious."

"I know." He sighs again frustrated. He steps off the bed adjusting himself before answering the door.

"Is she awake?" Jax asks.

"Yeah, just now. She needs a minute."

"Alright man, I'll go tell the others." And before Cu can tell him to hold off, he was already down the hall.

"Damn" he says cursing under his breath again.

Veda watches him take the tray, shut the door and bring it to her. It smelled so good. He places the tray in front of her on the bed as she gets in a more comfortable position and Cu sits down.

"Is that miso soup? And stir fry? Are those vegetable? Cuuuuuu!Eeeee!" She couldn't believe what she was seeing. It had been a long time since she had an actual vegetable not from a can. They must have a green house in the castle somewhere.

Cu laughs.
"Yeah they eat good here. Like really good. We had sushi earlier."

She stares at him.
"And you didn't save me any!" She snaps and Cu immediately surrenders.

"I'm sorry! I didn't think of that."

She growls at him and takes a mouthful of stir fry. She closes her eyes savoring every spice and flavor.
"Oh...mmmf..my...mmphf...gawwwd." She says through chewing.

Cu chuckles at her.
"That good hey?"

"Yeah, maybe even better than sex." She winks.

"And how would you know that?" He raises a brow to her.

"I don't, I'm just assuming."

"Well, If we ever get time alone..." He trails off.

She sighs.
"Maybe one day. In the meantime, I'm having an orgasm over this food!"

He glares at her and shakes his head.
"You're killin me."

Shirou and Fergus burst into the room. Cu was thankful he had his clothes on now since they have decided to just walk in instead knock. He hoped this wasn't a new habit they were starting or he will never get time alone with Veda.

"Veda! Are you ok?" Shirou asks running to her side. He slides Cu's chair back away from Veda and kneels down beside her.

"Hey man!" Cu snaps.

"I'm ok Shirou." She replies.

Cu watches him kiss the top of her head then hold her close, a little too close for his liking.

"Alright man, she gets the point! You missed her...blah...blah...blah." Cu stands.

"Oh don't be such a prude Cu, I'm next!" Fergus says.

Thanks dad. Cu thinks and curses again.

Shirou backs off and lets Fergus get some Veda time in.
"Hey precious, you scared us all."

She kisses his cheek.
"I'm sorry."

Then Medusa slinks into the room.
"Miss?" And the room becomes still as we watch Veda.

She glares at the woman. "Rider, what you did was unforgivable for me." She places a hand on her chest and Medusa lowers her head.

"You have to understand what I did wa..." Veda interrupts her.

"...for your master. But you still took someone from me, I need something in return." She says sternly.

Medusa comes to Vedas side and kneels."I will take you as my master. Even though my pact is with the boy, I will follow you and restore the earth to its original state, it's all I can do for cleansing the city and giving back his family."

"No...You will leave the boy as your master, and take me." She said.

"That's not possible." She said. "You have a pact already."

Veda reaches under her pillow then pushes the blankets off herself and steps out of the bed. She stands tall and presenting the blade to Medusa. She stares at the blade in Vedas hands.

"Do it." She says and lowers her head.

Veda looks around nervously, she hasn't thought this far ahead yet. Yes she has the dagger, but how the hell do you use it?

"Shirou?" She asks.

He makes a stabbing motion and points to his stomach. Veda winces, the last thing she wanted to do was stab a servant. She sighs.

"Rider, I need you to stand up for this, and it's going to hurt like hell. I'm sorry."

She looks up with a smirk on her face and rises to her feet.

"No pain, no gain." She says.

And with a deep breath Veda draws mana into the dagger picturing her goal and drives it into her stomach. Medusa cries and keels over.

Then a red light seeps out of the wound, and with a flash it was gone. Vedas wrist forms three more command seals. She examines them, each symbol different with their own meaning.

"It is done." Medusa says. "You are my master now." She bows to Veda.

"Good. We have one more servant to get. I know who it is. But his master, she will be a difficult opponent. We may have to take Yan from her."

"Yan?!!" Shirou gasps and look at Fergus.

"Shit." Cu says.

"What? What's wrong with Yan Qing?" Veda asks.

Medusa laughs. "Well for one, his looks are unmatched, which why our boys here are fidgeting so much, and two in assassin class, he is a top ranked servant. How fitting for a ruler of the underworld to be summoned here in this mess."

"Yeah.." Veda replies touching her lips. Cu seems to notice.

"You saw him didn't you." He asks quietly.

Her eyes flick up to him.
"Yeah, he came to me after I went unconscious at the hospital. He was keeping me alive, holding me in spiritual pergatory until I could find my way back and release some of the curse I took in. He...told me his master is hard to deal with and doesn't want the world restored. He said we will have to take him from her. I promised him I would."

Cu groans and runs a hand through his hair.
"Alright but if he touches you I'm going to flip my shit. He's one smooth mother fucker, just, don't get close to him he likes to mess with your head and will do or say almost anything to get what he wants, including a beautiful woman."

"I'm not going to let Yan get within one inch of her." fergus says.

"He can get close to me, I don't mind at all." Medusa smirks. "He can wrap those perfectly sculpted arms around me and smooth talk me until the end of time. I wouldn't say no."

Veda bursts out laughing.
"Alright you can keep him busy."

"We should get going." Shirou says. " but we need to get you something to wear, your blades made it through the cleansing you did, as for guns, you will have to share." Shirou says. "Come with me Veda, let's get you dressed." He holds out a hand to her.

Cu growls. "I'm coming too."

Veda let's the dagger disappear, knowing she can summon it anytime now she doesn't need it out in the open.

"Look guys, I appreciate you helping me out, but I'm pretty sure I can dress myself. Rider can help me too, she knows her way around here. Let's go." Veda says.

Medusa follows her out the door.
