"You really need to teach me how to cook like this. It was amazing.", Heeseung said while helping Jaeyun to put the dishes away.

Ever since they started eating Heeseung had praised Jaeyuns cooking skills and was excited to learn more about Jaeyuns time in Australia. And Jaeyun told him a lot about it. How and where he grew up. About the schools, his friends. Everything. Even about the part in his life in which he moved to South Korea with his parents to care for his sick grandmother.

Heeseung just felt like he had learned so many new things about Jaeyun. And it made him happy:

"Alright, what now?", Jaeyun asked after putting away the last things.

"I don't know. What do you want to do?"

Jaeyun sighed. "I asked you first."

"Not directly. You just said 'what now'. That wasn't addressed to me directly."

Jaeyun slightly hit the elders shoulder. "You're an idiot."

Heeseung couldn't help but laugh. Jaeyuns reaction was just too sweet.

For a moment they looked at each other. Then Jaeyun went to the living room with an idea on his mind, followed by Heeseung.

"Do you know how to play it?", Jaeyun asked and pointed at the piano in front of him.

Heeseungs eyes widened. He didn't notice it earlier. He has been way too focused on the things Jaeyun told him. But Jaeyun surely noticed the spark in his eyes.

"My dad used to teach me how to play. I haven't used it in quite some time. But maybe now would be a good moment to do so again.", Jaeyun explained.

Heeseung now felt honoured. Honoured because Jaeyun asked him to play.

"I always knew taking piano classes would be worth their price.", Heeseung joked and sat down. "Come on, we'll play together."

Jaeyun didn't hesitate for too long and sat down next to Heeseung.

Soft strains of music filled the room as they sat side by side at the piano, their fingers starting dancing across the keys. They didn't decide on a melody, a song, they just played and it harmonized perfectly.

As they played Jaeyun caught a glimpse at Heeseung. It felt like he filled the hole in his heart. Like he was the answer to everything. Like meeting him was a sign.

The final notes faded into silence, and as they sat there, Jaeyun reached out, his hand finding Heeseung's and intertwining their fingers. They just looked at each other, admiring the other one.

"Thank you for having me over tonight. I really enjoyed it.", Heeseung said as he put on his jacket.

The smile on Jaeyuns face was big. "I really enjoyed it too. I hope we can repeat it soon."

"We will, I promise."

Jaeyun smiled, so did Heeseung.

"Have a good night, Jaeyun."

Just as Heeseung was about to leave Jaeyun cleared his throat. He wanted a goodbye-hug. So he stood there, his arms open. And Heeseung quickly understood what he wanted and hugged him. Tight and long. Eventually longer than it should

And before even thinking it through, Jaeyun pecked Heeseungs cheek. Just a small kiss. But to him it meant a lot.

Heeseung was flustered. His cheeks were getting a little rosy. But the smile on his face was clearly visible. Almost like he accomplished something big.

He mumbled a last (shy) goodbye to Jaeyun before leaving to go to his car.

That was just the beginning of something beautiful.
