In order for the world to have balance, there must be two opposing sides. Day and night. Earth and sky. Darkness and light. One cannot be without the other. A long time ago, a  great country of many mysteries and magic lived in harmony, until the two primary, most powerful kingdoms fought for dominance. There was the Chat Noir Kingdom, which was the Kingdom of bad luck, bringing destruction to the world. Then there was the Ladybug Kingdom, known for bringing creation and good fortune to the world. Both kingdoms were very powerful, and very different. For centuries, their people fought to the death in battle. With the Chat Noirs bringing destruction and misfortune to the Ladybugs, and the Ladybugs having good luck on their side, it was an equal war that seemed to have no end.

Each kingdom is ruled by a family of royalty that holds the Miracle Gems of that kingdom. These gems are called Miraculouses. Each Miraculous holds a unique power. The earrings of the Ladybug Kingdom has the power of creation, whereas the ring of the Chat Noir Kingdom holds the power of destruction. Should both of these sacred gems be wielded at once by the same person, they would obtain the power of a god.

What sort of fate will shift this sequence?
