[Endless Wedge – Kagamine Len]
Her sapphires remain wide open as she watched the music sheets she has put so much time and effort into, falling onto the blood soaked earth. Everything fell into white noise. Everything turns blood red. A color she loved and hate at the same time.
‘Sei…’ Everything slowly turns blind white.
…
‘Tetsuki.” A voice she once cherished so much calls out for her. Someone was crouching next to her. Slowly, she shifts her gaze from the person’s leather shoes to the person’s face. Her eyes widen. “You’ll catch a cold if you lay down there too long.” The person smiled. A smile warmer than the gentle sun above. A smile that she has missed so much. A smile that only shown to her.
“Sei…”
There, clad in a complete white attire was the love of her life, Akashi Seijuro. His heterochromatic orbs soften ever so gentle, “It’s nice to finally see you again.” She could not believe her own eyes.
Then, someone else approached her from the other side, “Sup, Kuroko-chan.” She looked to her left side, there stood, Haizaki Shougo, grinning at her, “Haizaki-san…” he chuckles as he crouched down, “What’s wrong? Too surprise to see us that you can say anything else other than our names?” he ruffles with her soft bangs.
“Come on, stand up. We wanna show you something.” Both of them held out their hands to her. She blinks, “But I can’t…” she looked at her legs. Akashi smiled at her, “Yes, you can. Try it.” Slowly she moves her legs, and then with the help of the other two, she stand on her two feet, “There you go.”
As they was about to pull her along, she quickly pulls her arms back, hesitated to follow them. Both of them looked at her, “I thought they two of you are…” she furrowed.
“Dead?” Haizaki finished her line. She nodded.
Akashi took a couple steps forward to her, and then he smiled as he took her hands. Firmly into his, "Tetsuki, I’m here, there is nothing for you to be scared of." Everything began turning white.
…
Before she knows it, her surroundings began to change into a surrounding she once had when she was a child. She shifts her gaze to her side, where Akashi still holding her hands firmly as he looked front. Then, she followed his line of sight.
“This is…”
She watched from the side, where a younger child version of her obediently followed her beloved mother and father as they was welcomed by the Akashi’s head butler who leads them to the large mansion main living room. The parents of her fiancée welcomed them warmly.
“Aren’t you a beautiful little lady? Seijuro will be proud to have someone like you as his future wife.” Akashi Saito smiled at her before he turns to his head butler, “Where’s Seijuro?” they settled down on the expensive ruby leather couch as the maids served their teas and snacks.
“Young Master Seijuro was still having his violin practice with his instructor. He will be coming down, shortly.” The head butler informed his Master. Akashi Kaori, the wife of Akashi Saito smiled apologetically, “I’m sorry for having your family coming over to meet our son when he himself is not present.” Kuroko’s mother, smiled as she shook her head, “No, it’s alright.”
Kaori turns to the little bluenette who sat quietly drinking her tea from the white elegant teacup, “Tetsuki-chan, I heard you love books. Would you like to visit our library? I’m sure you’ll love it.” The woman with the long crimson locks smiled at her. The bluenette blinks as she puts her teacup down, “I would love to!”
With the help of the head butler, the teal haired child found the library as her eyes widens as the rare collection of books on the shelves. As she goes through the books, she halted at a spot, where her large round eyes fixed to a book on the third shelve. From time to time, she grunts in frustration for unable to get the book she wanted. She tiptoed on the small stool to reach for the book but failed. Then, she looked around, searching for something for her to climb on.
With every ounce of her strength, she pushed the reading chair towards the shelves. Then, she climbs onto it. She smiled the moment her hands reached the book she wanted. As she was about to climb down from the chair, she lost her footing when she stepped onto her dress. Her orbs widen in fear when she knows she was about to hit the floor, but it never hit her.
Someone cushioned her fall. Then, gently puts her on the ground. 'Who are you…?" he asked. The girl in blue simply smiled and hands her hands towards him.
"I'm Tetsuki, nice to meet you!"
The whole scene froze as Kuroko watched from the side as she felt Akashi’s hands gave her a firm grip, "Tetsuki, do you remember the first time we met in the library? It was love at first sight. I never believe in it until I met you."
…
The scene then jumped to where the two of them were playing in the playground nearby the mansion. They became closer after their first meeting. However, things went completely wrong and inevitable when the young Akashi threw the ball with more with force as it went above the bluenette’s head. She tried catching the rolling ball without looking where she was heading. His orbs widened when he saw the incoming car.
"Tetsuki!" he shouted. Everything went dark the moment the red sports car hit him. The last thing he saw was, his beloved Kuroko screamed and in tears for him.
"SEIIIIIIIIIIIII!"
…
Things began to change from there as the scenery switched to the hospital room where Kuroko sound asleep on the side of the bed with her hands held tightly onto the young Akashi. Then, two bodyguards from the Akashi household enters and brought the bluenette out of the room as she struggles to break free. It was the last time she saw him before her parents disown her.
“Tetsuki.” Akashi forced a smile, “I’m sorry for putting you through all these.” he hugged her. She returns his hug. Then, the whole scenery changed once again.
…
It was a scene where she bumped into the red head for the first time. It was a second meeting where everything began to change into the direction of their fate and destiny.
"I'm sorry for not looking where I was walking" She gave a slight bow.
Akashi watched the two students in front of him before focusing onto the bluenette, "No, it's alright. It was partly my fault as well. So please, do not apologize." His hetero orbs did not leave the bluenette's figure in front of him.
Kuroko watched their younger version conversed with one another before Kagami brought Kuroko away as Akashi watched them disappearing from sight. It was then, the rest of the Generation of Miracles shows up as Kise follows the red head line of sight, “Ah, I guess she’s well enough to attend classes today.
"Do you know her?" the blonde nodded. "That's Kuroko Tetsuki-chii. She is a pianist, a good one at that. I heard she sings too, but…she would never sing in front of the class. Oh! She is in the same class as mine and my partner during classes too, so I often see her during piano classes whenever her health lets her attend the lectures. But lately, she hasn't been attending it much…" He trailed off.
“I see…”
Kuroko shifts her gaze to the red head next to her, "I was living for the sake of living until I met you again. My colorless world became colorful when you began excepting me into your life despite not having any memories of me."
“I’m the one who should be saying that. I was a mere machine after I lost my memories. I did everything I can to find the person that kept appearing in my dreams but I never knew you were so near to me.” Then he looked at her, “It must have been painful for you to watch the one you love from afar.”
“There is no form of apologies I can say to you. I’ve hurt you far too much, Tetsuki.” Suddenly, everything turns bright as she quickly covers her sapphires with her arms.
…
She looks to her side, Akashi’s no longer there with her. Then, she looked around the unfamiliar room. A few feet away from her, a man whose hair are silver like steel stood in front of a working desk as the familiar bruenette was looking outside the window.
“It’s Haizaki-san and Suzuki-san…they knew each other?”
…
"Erase her."
"I'm sorry, did I hear that correct? You want me to what?" Haizaki frowned as he closes the files. She turns around and slams her hands onto her work desk, "KILL HER or do you want your parents to be out of job for years and thrown to streets?" she threatens him. He stood up, as he excuses himself, "There is no way in hell I will kill an innocent woman like Kuroko Tetsuki. I don't care if you want to throw us out to the streets, I don't kill innocent people!"
The brunette clicked her tongue, "I supposed you don't want to hear this." She gave him a phone. Out of curiosity, he took it and his silver orbs grew wide, "Why you bit-"he growled. She smiled, "So pick one."
He bit his lower lip before his head hung low in defeat. Suzuki grinned, "Seijuro shall be mine."
…
Then, someone appeared next to her, “Aaa…I never wanted to show you these.” He massaged the back of his neck. Then, he sighed as he looked at her, “Sorry, Kuroko-chan. It was a job I couldn’t refuse no matter how much I want to…” he looks away as the scenery changed.
It was her first public debut with the Generation of Miracles and Haizaki was sitting duck at the opposite side of the stage, along with his rifle before he took a deep breath and pulled the trigger.
Kuroko immediately shuts close her eyes. Then, she looked at Haizaki; “I’m sorry…” his silver colored eyes saddens and filled with guilt. She furrowed, “Haizaki-san…you did what you had to. I’ll never blame you for it.” Then, the scenery changed again, this time at the cave they first met after she fell into the ocean.
"I was always living in the dark, my life consist nothing but bloods and sins. It changed when I encountered you for the very first time. I was supposed to kill you but I couldn't, not after you unconsciously lighten my life that no one else could do." Then, he shifts his gaze to the scenes in front of him.
…
"I'm Haizaki Shougo, what's yours?" the younger version of him looked at the bluenette. She looked at him, "Kuroko…Tetsuki…"
Haizaki stood in the middle of the large office facing the bruenette who holds his parents as hostages, "It's been 8 months since I last gave you the order and why have I not seen the results?" the silver haired assassin frowned as he bit his lower lip. His silver orbs glares at the bruenette, "I need perfect timing. I can't simply go out there into the public and kill her." He lied.
He did not need perfect timing at all. He is a skilled assassin, he knows where, when to kill but after he met the bluenette, he hesitated and been putting it off because he knows Luka will not harm his parents until he carry out her orders. However, he gets the feeling he's being followed. He just cannot see who it was.
The bruenette sneered, "Oh really?" Luka turns around and throws an envelope filled with pictures onto the table. The assassin stepped forward. His breathe hitched as the sight of his parents under heavily guarded apartment, "Your parents haven't seen the outside world for eight months since I last gave you the orders. If you don't carry it out soon, I might have to dispose them." She smirked at the hired assassin who clenched his jaw tightly, "If you lay a single finger on them, I will dispose you myself!" he warns her before slamming the office door.
Haizaki abruptly stopped at the stairs towards the tall building behind him. He crouched down as he hangs his arms on his knees while he buries his face in between his knees. He lets out a heavy sigh, "It sucks to be me…," he mumbles.
It was the rooftop of a building near the Private Hospital as the two of them watched the Haizaki in the scene charged towards Hanamiya, "What the hell do you think you're doing, Hanamiya?!"
The two went into a brawl hitting one another, "Don't you dare!" he lands another punch on the other man before Hanamiya pushed him to the wall, "More like, you don't want to kill her that's why you're doing this!" he tries to reach for something hidden at the back of his coat.
His silvery orbs widens as he felt sharp painful blade pierced into his abdomen. He looked down to where the pain came from as blood drips from the corner of his mouth. His vision began to sway as Hanamiya watched him buckled onto the ground, "This is what you get for not using a weapon properly."
Kuroko’s sapphire eyes widens, “Was this the reason you didn’t come to visit after that?” he nodded.
Then, everything turns blinding white everywhere she looks. Haizaki has disappeared from her side. All of a sudden, memories of the past where everyone shows pain, sadness, anger, agony, every emotion there is as each memories circling around her.
Her knees buckled as she closes her ears with her palms, turning herself into a ball, “It was my fault that they all suffered. It was mine…” she sobbed. Then, everything turns silent and dark, “Tetsuki, there is nothing for you to be afraid of.” Akashi’s voice echoes. Her tears trail down her cheeks as she looks up. The two men stood in front of her.
"It was never your fault; we protect you because we want to. It was because we loved you." Akashi crouched down. He smiled, "You've been struggling for so long, and it’s time for you to take the rest you deserve." He held out his hands. “Yea, you deserve it.” Haizaki added.
“Everything will be alright.”
She looks at it, then she look at her left hand, then slowly, she held onto the warm hands that once held her dearly in life. Everything turns white once again.
"I love you, Tetsuki."
...
Slowly, her beautiful sapphire colored eyes lose in shines before her eyelids slowly shut close, ‘Goodbye, everyone and thank you for everything…’

…
Somewhere in the streets of Tokyo, a girl in her teens, whose hair are as blue like the ocean while her large sapphire eyes blinks as she looked up into the blue sky. She furrowed slightly as the bright sunshine but then, a small smile curved on her lips, "It truly is a good day." she mumbles as the gentle wind brushed againts her soft locks.
She didn't realize someone was behind her until, “Tetsuki.” The voice of her beloved appears behind her. She turns around. Then, she smiled at the man whose hair are beautiful red like the red roses nearby.
“Sei!”
