One month later...

I smiled opening the door for my mom.

"My baby!" Pattie, my mother, squealed. She engulfed me into a tight hug.

"I missed you so much, Justin." She cries. I wipe the tears from her eyes.

"Likewise, mom."

I haven't seen my mom for a good four months. She had went back to Canada for work but she's here for good in New York.

"So,what have you been up to, my beautiful boy." My mom asks as she ruffles my shaggy hair. I just know she's gonna make me get a haircut.

I shrug, passing her a water bottle from the kitchen.

"Nothing much. I've been. . .living life, I guess." I laugh.

My mom smiles at me with a knowing look.

"Justin, is there anything I should know. A girl maybe?"

I just look at her in shock. How the hell did she know? She throws her head back in laughter.

"J, I'm your mother. I know everything about you. Now tell me everything."

I shake my head, grinning.

" OK, well, her name is Lauren. . ."

After about three hours of telling my mom my life while she was away, she went home. Not without telling me to get a haircut of course.

I sigh, plopping on the couch. I looked at the clock which read 8:27. I grab the TV remote and turn to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It was by far the greatest show on TV.

Twenty minutes into the show, I hear a knock on the door. Who the hell could that be?  I got up and answered the door.

My eyes widened. It was Lauren.

"Hi." She smiles.

"Hey Lauren. What are you doing here?" I question in a confused tone.

She grins.

"I know it's late and I should have called but I was bored and I thought I would surprise you. Surprise!" She explains.

I raise my brows.

"Oh, come on, Justin. Stop acting like your not happy to see me." She smirks, punching my arm lightly.

I roll my eyes playfully. "That's strike one. Three and I'm gonna have to throw you out." I joke as I open the door wide enough for her to step inside.

"Yeah right, Bieber."
