As Harleen greeted Dr Crane, Anne slowly followed her inside the office as Crane looked at both of them before he said something.

Jonathan: Good morning, Miss Quinzel. I see you brought a friend with you.

He began looking at Anne as She seemed anxious and began fiddling with her sleeves, He continued staring at her, observing her body language.

Harleen: *Smiles* Yes, She's looking for a job, actually. . . Do you have a spot for her, maybe?

Anne looked at him and was hoping there was a spot for her to start working, Crane looked at Anne for a few seconds before nodding.

Jonathan: I may need to speak to her first.

Harleen: Sure, I'll be here-

Jonathan: Privately, I want you to check on the patients, Miss Quinzel.

He took off his glasses and cleaned it as Anne looked nervous and stared at Harleen, She was silent for a few seconds and looked at Anne, Harley could tell Anne wanted her to stay in the office but she couldn't do that.

Harleen: Uhh sure, give me a minute, I want to speak to her.

She grabbed Anne's hand and left the office, Both of them were outside the office as Anne looked at her.

Anne: Are you gonna leave me alone with him?

Harleen: Look, It's just an interview. I would like to stay but I have to work as well.

Anne: I'm scared, Can you please stay with me for a few minutes?

She spoke innocently as Harleen felt bad for her.

Harleen: Aww, Anne, you're making me feel bad now. . . But I can't.

She placed both of her hands on Anne's shoulder and spoke to her.

Harleen: Trust me, everything will be fine, Just try to be confident and answer his questions with honesty, If there is something you don't know, just tell him. He won't judge you, okay?

Anne took a deep breath and nodded, feeling nervous and a little shy as well.

Harleen: Got it? Once the interview is done, I'll get back to you. Again, don't be scared. I'm here for you.

She spoke with reassurance as Anne nodded, thinking about her words.

Anne: Okay. . . I think I'm ready.

Harleen: *Smiles* You got this, Girl! Good luck, Annie.

Anne gave a small smile to her and nodded as Harleen and Anne went back to the office, Winters took her seat while Harley said "Bye" to both of them, Now It was just Anne and Jonathan in the office as there was a moment of silence, Anne was staring at the ground while Crane stared at her before he smiled.

Jonathan: Don't be nervous, I won't bite.

Anne looked at him and continued fidgeting with her sleeves as Jonathan spoke to her.

Jonathan: First off, what's your name?

Anne: . . . . . Anne Winters.

She spoke quietly as Jonathan heard her country accent and raised an eyebrow.

Jonathan: You don't sound very local, Are you new?

Anne: Yes. . . I'm from Virginia.

Jonathan: Virginia. . . So when did you come to Gotham?

Anne: . . . A few weeks ago.

He nodded and looked at her with intrigue.

Jonathan: And why did you choose Gotham of all places?

Anne was silent for a few seconds as Crane was waiting for her response, He noticed she grew more anxious and nervous every time he said something.

Anne: I. . . Can only afford to come here.

Jonathan: I see now.

Anne began tapping on the table as Jonathan knew he needed to calm her down somehow, He slowly grabbed her finger and pulled it close. He held her hand as Anne looked at him in confusion.

Jonathan: Don't worry, Anne. It's going to be alright. I just have a few questions for you, that's all. No need to be frightened, okay?

He smiled and squeezed her hand reassuringly, hoping to ease her nerves as Anne took a deep breath before smiling at him, Jonathan looked at her, finding her smile quite beautiful.

Later on, Sometime passed, and Crane found out that Anne wasn't familiar with a lot of things, which was going to be tough for her to work here, but he wanted to hire her and  had an idea which could make things easy and not complicated for her.

Jonathan: Anne, I can see you're not familiar with a lot of things here, and I get it, it might feel overwhelming. But I've got an idea. How about I start you off as an Intern Nurse? All you need to do is  help with organizing supplies, restocking medical kits, and preparing simple reports. How does that sound?

Anne was thinking about it before she nodded.

Anne: Yeah, Sounds good.

Jonathan: Good, When would you like to start? I'll let you decide.

She wasn't sure what to say, Anne did needed some time to prepare herself.

Anne: Is next week okay?

Jonathan: Whatever makes you comfortable, Miss Winters.

He smiled at her as Anne nodded and smiled back.

Anne: Thank you.

Jonathan nodded and smiled at her before he grabbed the telephone and called Harleen, wanting her to show Anne around the asylum.

Later on, Harleen showed a couple of rooms and places around the asylum, but there were some rooms that she didn't want Anne to see yet, knowing she was going to freak out.

Harleen: So, What do you think?

Anne: It's scary. . .

Harleen: Same here, But hey, This is what I signed up for.

Anne smiled as Harleen laughed a little and fixed her hair.

Harleen: Anyways, I'm so happy that you got hired. At least you and I get to work at the same place.

Anne: I'm really happy as well, I hope this will be good.

Harleen: You'll do fine, Anne. I know you got this.

Anne smiled at her, feeling a little confident by her words as Harleen said something.

Harleen: Oh and after this, We're gonna go shopping.

Anne: Shopping? For what?

Harleen: We're gonna buy some new clothes and accessories for you, I'm gonna teach you how to dress up and do your makeup.

She gave a cheeky smile as Anne raised an eyebrow.

Anne: But I like my style.

Harleen: *Laughs* I know you do and you still look great, But I thought a little change wouldn't hurt.

Anne just nodded and looked around until she heard a scream that spooked her as Winters grabbed Harley's hand as

Harleen: Right, We should leave now.

A few hours has passed as The girls were back home, Anne was trying out the new clothes that Harleen bought for her. Quinzel was talking to Benjamin on her cellphone while Anne was at her room.

Harleen: *On Call* So it worked out well, She's hired now.

Benjamin: *On Call* Really? That's amazing to hear. Hope things will go well.

Harleen: *On Call* Same here, Puddin. She's starting next week, Suppose I could teach her a few things as well.

Benjamin: *On Call* Definitely, And I suppose you two went shopping, Right?

Harleen: *Chuckles* Mmmm yes.

Benjamin: When did i tell you to take my credit card?

Harleen: What do you mean!? You told me I could take it.

Benjamin: I never said that.

Harleen: Benjamin!

Benjamin: *Laughs* You know I'm kidding.

Harleen: Urgh, I hate you.

Benjamin: *Chuckles* I love you too, sweetheart

Harleen; I almost freaked out because of you.

Benjamin: Aww I'm sorry, Can I still get my kiss?

Harleen: Not anymore.

Benjamin: Please?

Harleen blushed and rolled her eyes before she made a kiss sound as Benjamin chuckled.

Benjamin: Thank you, But one isn't enough for me.

She smiled and blew another one as Benjamin chuckled and smiled as they continued talking on the phone before he needed to head back to work and hanged up the phone.

Soon, the door opened as Anne came out of the room, wearing her new clothes.

Anne: Harley, How do I look?

Harleen smiled and looked at her with surprise before her smile widened.

Harleen: You look absolutely beautiful!

Anne had a huge smile on her face and looked at the outfit she was wearing.

Harleen: How do you feel? Does it look great?

Anne: It's not bad, I actually like it.

Harleen: Great! What about the other clothes?

Anne: *Smiles* Those are also great, Especially the red dress. You have great taste.

Harley smiled and thanked her as both of them walked to the room, Harleen pulled out the new makeup set she brought as Winters looked at her.

Harleen: Okay, Now I'm gonna teach you how to do makeup.

Anne: What is that exactly for?

Harleen: It's nothing, really. It's just something to look great, So look over here. We got eye shadow, lipstick, foundation, concealers, lip gloss, eyeliner.

Anne was shocked by how many things she said as Harleen continued speaking to her.

Harleen: I only got what was important, but there is still a lot to buy in the market, especially with those pretty shades. . . So let's start, Shall we?

Anne smiled and nodded, She was actually happy to learn something new. And she was really comfortable with Harleen, so she didn't mind at all.

Selina Kyle and Alex Ambrose were seen at the morgue, He wanted to show her around and even show her what his job is like.

Both of them had an apron and wore gloves as Selina was holding his hand.

Selina: Do you ever feel scared coming here?

Alex: Not really, It's quite fascinating.

Selina: *Chuckles* You can be something, honey.

Alex: Are you scared?

Selina: Not really.

Alex: Sure?

He teased her as Selina smiled at him and continued holding his arm.

Selina: Of course not, Besides I can protect myself. . . And I got a protective boyfriend if I'm a little lazy.

Alex laughed as both of them made it to the room where there was multiple beds with corpses in it as both of them looked around, As Selina was walking forward, Alex smirked and decided to scare her.

Alex: Boo.

Selina immediately turned around as Alex smiled at her.

Selina: That didn't scare me.

They smiled and continued looking around together as Alex was explaining about how each murder happened and knew exactly how it was committed according to what he analysed, Selina listened with intrigue as Alex continued showing her around, He was unaware that Selina got behind him and whispered to his ear.

Selina: I'm watching you.

She smirked as Alex turned around and realised it was her as he smiled.

Selina: Revenge.

Alex: Oh you're bad influence.

Selina: I know you like it.

She winked as Alex stared at her before he pulled her close and attacked her neck with kisses as Selina laughed while holding him as their laughter was heard.

Later on, Alex walked into the police department with Selina and wanted her to show her something, He greeted the officers while holding Selina's hand until he saw Benjamin who was staring at him.

Benjamin never really liked Alex, He found something odd about him. . . Something that forced him to stay away despite how kind and calm he is.

Benjamin: You brought your girlfriend here?

Alex: *Smiles* Yeah, I know it seems like an odd date.

Selina: Hello, Officer McFarland.

Benjamin smiled at her before he glared at Alex, The couple walked away as Benjamin continued staring at Alex, He wanted to say something but knew Selina was there and he didn't want to cause a scene while Ambrose's girlfriend was here.

Meanwhile at Arkham Asylum, Crane was seen making his way to a patient's cell as he was thinking about something, He was also thinking about the new intern nurse that he hired, Crane was interested in her and wondered how she was going to work here by next week.
