1. Sweet Sixteen!
Finally it was time: Sam's birthday. She turned sixteen and that meant she could finally (legally) drive a car. She had decided to pass her practical exam today. Not that it was that hard, Sam could drive from the age of twelve. Her father, actually, was Luke Hobbs. She passed her exam without a trace of stress. She had to remember to drive safely, keep her two hands on the wheel, stick to the speed limits and not to drift. They were things that Sam didn't always do, but the examiner wouldn't overlook. Fortunately, she passed with flying colors.
Afterwards she quickly went to visit the Toretto family. To her surprise, everyone was gathered: Brian, Mia, Jack, Dom, Letty, Little Brian and even baby Camila .
'Happy Birthday!' they shouted in unison.
'What are you all doing here together?'
'We happened to pass by. Which was ideal to celebrate your birthday', Dom said as he gave her a supercharger for her car as a gift, 'This is from Letty and me. Congratulations Samantha.'
'Wow thank you!' Sam had just started her part-time job at Toretto's Market and Cafe , but she didn't know these people were going to spend so much money on her.
From Mia she got a care set (she was actually less happy with this, but she didn't show that) and from Brian a model car of exactly her red mini one from 2001. When Sam bought her car two years ago it only had 95hp, but meanwhile she had already tuned it up to 175hp , which still wasn't much, but "safe" as her father called it.
After they had all eaten cake, Jack called her upstairs in his words: "an urgent situation".
'Daddy's going on a mission with Uncle Dom and Aunt Letty. I even heard him call your daddy,' he said.
'They called my dad? What are they going to do then?'
'Probably being the hero again. A guy named Delano is trying to kidnap important statesmen because he needs passwords to open software.'
'Wow Jack, you really should become a secret agent, with your eavesdropping skills.'
'Just like my daddy,' the six-year-old said proudly, 'Tomorrow they say it's about the secretary of the treasury.'
'So let me guess, they're going to stop the kidnapping?'
'I want to come with you on the mission tomorrow' said Sam determinedly to Dom.
'What? Sam that's ridiculous. What have you heard?' he replied worriedly. The rest have now also been added.
'I have my driver's license so now I can join the team. You need an extra man, six is better than five,' she explained.
'We've got Ramsey too,' Brian corrected.
'Yeah, but she can't drive. I don't mean she's not part of the team, I meant there's only five drivers without me,' Sam said shaky . She didn't mean it that way at all.
'And you forget your father and his team. What's he going to say that you're going on such a dangerous mission, anyway?' Letty interrupted. Sam's stance was now completely ruined.
'You probably hijacked trucks when you were sixteen. Don't tell me about dangerous.'
'Well, we're not exactly the example to look at right now,' Dom grinned.
'Dom, no way you're letting her join in. She's way too young,' this was Mia's first time saying anything, but she sounded serious.
'Don't worry, Mia, I didn't mean to,' her brother reassured her.
'Like it or not: tomorrow I'll be there and I'm going to help stop that kidnapping!' shouted Samantha angrily. Did they really think she was still a little kid? If she knew she was ready, she was ready. Annoyed, she ran out of the house.

Brian and Mia's daughter I named Camille myself, because the girl in the series didn't have a name yet. ~Elien
