Hailee smiles as she looks at the garage in front of her car because of the homey vibe it gives. It had been two months since she had seen anyone from her new team. But she and Tej had kept in touch by phone until a week ago when Tej reached out to her to ask her on a date which she gladly accepted. So, here she was standing in Tej's garage while looking around in amazement at what he had accomplished. Tej enters the garage from the door that leads to his house before stopping in shock as he sees Hailee and is reminded of how beautiful she is. Hailee turns to find Tej staring at her before she awkwardly waves at him with a smile which causes Tej to smile. As Tej goes to speak, his phone starts ringing which causes him to look at Hailee apologetically. Hailee just smiles and motions for Tej to take the call. Tej smiles at Hailee as he answers the call before the smile slowly turns into a frown as Dom talks to him.
"What is it?" Hailee asks worriedly as Tej hangs up the phone.
"It was Dom. Hobbs needs the team for a mission," Tej answers her with a defeated sigh.
"Looks like we'll have to take a rain check on the date then," Hailee says with a wink, causing Tej to look at her in shock as she starts walking out of the garage. "Send me where we're supposed to meet up with Dom and I'll go pick up Ramsey."
"Dear God, please let her be the woman that I marry someday," Tej says as he glances up with a smile before going to get ready for the mission.

BERLIN, GERMANY

Dom busts through a wall with the team following behind him as explosions go off all around the base they are in.
"You were only supposed to create a diversion, Roman," Letty says over the comms as they see most of the base on fire.
"That was a diversion!" Roman argues with her, causing Hailee to roll her eyes.
"How many of the damn explosives did you use?" Tej asks as another explosion occurs.
"I don't know, Tej," Roman answers as they drive past a raging fire. "All of it?"
"Wait, all of it?" Tej asks him as if he were crazy.
"Roman, Jesus Christ," Hobbs says as he shakes his head in disbelief.

"We got more of your fan club ahead," Letty says as she sees several vehicles heading towards them. Dom makes a quick turn with the team and the other vehicles following after him.
"They're still on us!" Hailee says as she sees the vehicles right behind them.
"These guys are taking this personal," Roman says as they start shooting at him since he and Ramsey are in the back of the group.
"Roman, we just blew up their facility and stole their EMP," Hobbs explains as he dodges some debris. "Other than your doctor's cold finger, I'd say it's about as personal as it can get."

"Phase two," Dom orders as he realizes that they will not be able to lose the vehicles following them.
"Phase two?" Roman asks with a raised eyebrow as he glances over at Ramsey, since he was not told about phase two of the plan. "So you just gonna keep that to yourself? What happened to Phase one? What about that part?"
"Yeah. Remember the airplane?" Tej reminds him which causes Hailee to lightly smile since she was finally told the story by Tej. "Everyone drove their cars out but you?"
"I told you, my engine seized up," Roman says to quickly defend himself which causes Ramsey to roll her eyes.
"It's your balls that seized up," Letty states with a slight laugh which causes Hailee to giggle as well.
"Just follow my lead, okay?" Tej orders since Roman is following right behind him. "And, Roman, whatever you do, don't think."
"Huh?" Roman asks as he looks at the comms system in confusion.
"I think you gave him too much information to work with," Hailee says with a smile as she hands Tej the device he needs for phase two to work.

"Tej, drop it," Dom orders which causes Tej to smile excitedly.
"Bombs away," Tej says happily before he presses a button.
"Split now," Dom orders as a wrecking ball drops towards them.
"Holy shit!" Roman yells as it swings by him before it takes most of the vehicles that are following them. "Great plan, Tej." Roman sees the few vehicles still following them. "But just so you know, you missed some."
"Oh, just wait for it," Tej tells him before the wrecking ball starts swinging back towards them, taking out the remaining vehicles.
"Oh, shit!" Roman yells as the wrecking ball takes off his side mirror before he sees the smiley face painted on the wrecking ball.
"I hate you Tej."
"Got your ass," Tej says as he and Hailee laugh before sharing a high five since the smiley face had been her idea.

"All right, great job, team," Hobbs says as they leave the base. "Let's break off and meet me at the safe house." Letty, Tej, and Roman turn right while Hobbs and Dom turn left.

"So, you never did tell me where the date was going to be," Hailee says as she wiggles her eyebrows which causes Tej to smile.
"And you won't know until we go on it," Tej says with a smirk which causes Hailee to pout. "The pout won't work either."
"Fine. Keep your secrets," Hailee says with a giggle as she playfully shoves Tej which causes him to laugh as well.

"That sumbitch just crossed us," Hobbs voice comes over the comms system, causing Hailee and Tej to share a worried look as they stop laughing.
"What?" Letty asks him confused.
"Wait a second, what are you talking about?" Tej asks not wanting to believe what Hobbs is implying.
"Dom took the EMP," Hobbs simply answers them.
"Bullshit," Roman tells him since they all know that Dom would never turn his back on them.
"Where are you?" Letty asks him in hopes that she could find Dom and prove his innocence.
"It's too late for me. Get outta here," Hobbs answers her as he begins to hear police sirens. "I saw that look in his eye, and I've seen that look before. Dominic Toretto just went rogue."

Back at the safe house, Letty starts going through Dom's car in hopes of finding any information on why he would turn on them. Tej and Hailee get to work on pulling Dom's phone records while Ramsey sees if she can come up with a location for Dom.
"All right, we got his phone records, y'all," Tej tells the team as he holds up the papers that Hailee had just printed out. "It's a whole bunch of calls to untraceable numbers."
"Burner phones right?" Roman asks him as Ramsey continues to type on her computer.
"Nah, scrambler," Tej answers with a shake of his as he looks down at the papers.
"It's the same number, but they got some sort of micro-router to bury the signal path," Hailee explains as she joins them. "Which means Dom is clearly communicating with somebody that's above our pay grade."
"Look, I don't know Dom as well as you, but if we just look at the facts, Dom's been having highly encrypted conversations with some mysterious person," Ramsey says as she walks over to Tej, Hailee, and Roman. "He took out Hobbs. He stole an EMP. Now he's disappeared."
"So, what are you saying?" Tej asks her as Letty puts the pictures she had found back in the glove box.
"Maybe we should consider the fact that Hobbs is right," Ramsey answers him as Letty gets out of Dom's car. "Dom did go rogue." Letty slams the door before walking towards Ramsey with a glare on her face.
"Letty," Roman tries as he steps slightly in between them while Hailee stands in front of Ramsey protectively.
"Before you judge the man, remember, you're breathing right now because he saved your life," Letty tells her with the glare never leaving. Letty bumps Ramsey's shoulder as she walks away from all of them.
"You just gonna let her bump your shoulder like that?" Roman asks Ramsey once Letty is out of earshot. Ramsey rolls her eyes before walking away from Roman. "I'm just saying, that was a little aggressive." Ramsey sits back down in front of her computer. "What you gonna do, email her?" Ramsey sighs before typing on her computer. "Check."
"Roman, cut it out. It's not helping," Hailee says as she glares at Roman before walking over to her computer with Tej following after her.
"Hey..." Tej says softly as he stands beside Hailee.
"I promise that I will do everything in my power to find Dom," Hailee says as she hangs her head. "Letty's right. I'm alive because of all of you." Tej goes to say something but is interrupted by several agents storming the safe house.
