I came up with this outfit on my own a few years ago, and it's become a regular in my closet. I had bought a green dress a while back, but it got a bit chilly one day I was wearing it, so to help, I simply placed a sweater over it.

This isn't quite the dress I have, but it's close enough. I wear a pair of black leggings underneath them, or black tights would go well with it too. 

Something like this over the top, or a black turtle neck looks rather nice too. A big black hair bow would look rather nifty with it, or of course, my Beatles hat. Chuck Taylors look pretty good for shoes, but of course so do ankle boots, or combat boots. As a bag I use my school bag, helps with the neutral look. 

I will admit, when I see myself in the mirror with this outfit I look like I have to catch a train.
