This is a great outfit to wear when it's a rainy day, but you still have somewhere to go. A good raincoat is always convenient, but so is a classic, beige or apricot trench coat. With raincoat material rather than wool. Wool is good for snowy weather. 

You could wear anything under this. With jeans, short rain boots are good as footwear:

Or leggings look good with long boots:

And a swell looking hat:

And of course a good pair of gloves. Black or even red ones will do:

And one mustn't forget an umbrella to take with them. I prefer a good transparent umbrella myself.
