-Tyler's P.O.V-

Three weeks. Twenty one days.

That's how long it's been since Josh came back.

After spending a few more days in Columbus, the gang finally decided to flock back to the city of Los Angeles. We were currently on the plane ride there, I sat by Jenna.

Josh and his Sunshine were placed behind.

-Your P.O.V-

I'm talking to my boyfriend, Josh Dun on the way back to his house located in Cali.

I can't believe I got to spend almost a month with him and his family in Ohio, it was so fun, especially after Josh got his memory back.

"So...what exactly went on with you while I was away?" Joshua turned to me, taking his eyes away from the window to the left of him which plastered a setting sun and an orange sky as we embarked back.

"Oh boy." I chuckle, slightly shaking my head. "Let me fill you in, my love."

-Josh's P.O.V-

Grayson, Karma and now the new, unknown "Delilah". Being filled in with everything that (Y/N) was sort of 'involved' in while i was gone makes it seem like forever since we've really spoken to one another. I'm glad to have this back.

Tyler, Jenna, (Y/N) and I all arrived back at my place around 9:30 PM. We stayed up for a couple more hours catching up and just talking until eventually Tyler and Jenna went to the spare bedroom to sleep, leaving my sunshine and I sat on the couch.

"I'm excited for you and Tyler to be working on new music!" (Y/N) cheers, bringing up the topic of new music from Twenty One Pilots.

"Me too, I can't wait for the clique to hear everything we're gonna work on." I smile, thinking of the idea.

I scoot closer to (Y/N), lifting my arm and delicately placing it over her shoulder as she leans into me.

"What a week." She sighs, her body temperature starting to match mine.

"I know." I look down, meeting her (e/c) irises, glistening from the light beaming down above us.

Wow, I missed this.

"I'm glad I know you again." I admit, moving in closer.

She smiles, a giggle escaping her lips. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Our faces were inches away.

I move in.

"Oh!" She stops.

"Seriously?" I chuckle at her ruining "the moment".

Laughing, (Y/N) apologizes. "Sorry, but I just thought of something." She hands me my cellphone off the coffee table. "You should call Brendon."

My eyes widen. Oh shoot, Brendon!

"Oh, uh, y-yeah, that'd...be a good idea." I muddle out, grabbing the phone and finding the singer's contact.

-Your P.O.V-

Josh stands as his phone begins to ring.

Everything felt...right, I had my boy back by my side, the band was gonna meet up soon...speaking of the band, I gotta text Karma to find out when I'm gonna meet this mysterious "Delilah".

I take another long glance at Josh.

He places a hand on his hip. "Heyyy Brendon!" He smiles cheerfully.

I grin and whisper to myself. "It's good to be back."

-Josh's P.O.V-

"Suuunshine, wake up!" I shake my sleepy girlfriend whose just now rising out of bed.

"Josh, it's early, what's going on?" (Y/N) rubs her eyes, pouty.

"I'm takin' you out!" I shrug, placing a peck on the top of my sunshine's forehead. "Now get dressed and bring a swimsuit."

"Whaaat for?" (Y/N) grumbles, finally standing out of bed.

"Well, we're going swimming silly." I baffle, changing into my swim trunks.

"Really? What's the weather like?"

"I just looked and it's supposed to be sunny all day, so go! Change!" I push (Y/N) towards the dresser, she chuckles.

"You're a dork." She informs me. I roll my eyes.

"But I'm your dork."

-Your P.O.V-

About a few hours later, Josh and I were still at a water park he had taken me to in southern California.

"So Grayson really beat up Ace? Remind me to personally thank him when I see him again." Josh and I were still catching up even after I had filled him in yesterday.

"Yep. I was kinda shocked myself. Grayson always seemed so chill to me."

"Well, I'm glad he's learning to control his anger now." Josh says, taking my hand and intertwining my fingers with his as we float in the water.

"Me too." I look at Josh, his hair was damp and his skin was glowing from the sun. He sure was beautiful.

"...What?" He notices me and giggles, shifting his brown eyes.

"Nothing, you're just pretty." I shrug, admiring his beauty.

I see a shade of pink form on Josh's face. "Shut up. You're pretty too." He smiles.

Man, I missed you.

I kiss his cheek and run a hand through his highlighter hair.

"You like my hair like this?" He questions.

"Sure do, neon boy."

"'Neon boy'? What is that?" He laughs.

"I dunno, you're just...neon. You're radiant and your hair's all yellow and what not. Don't question it." I protest.

"Alright, alright. It kinda sounds like a superhero name though."

I throw my head back in a fit of laughter.

He wasn't wrong. I clear my throat and start to put on my best dramatic voice.

"'The Adventures of Sunshine and Neon Boy'. I can see it now." I joke, Josh laughs.

"Someone call Dreamworks Animation!" He shouts, getting a few odd looks from people nearby.

We both smile, still laughing.

He looks over, tilting his head towards me.

"I love you, Sunshine."

My eyes squint at him, I feel a smile creep onto my face. I set a kiss on his lips and whisper.

"The feeling's mutual, neon boy."

A/N: it's been far too long since my last update, I know. I apologize! let me fill u in.

so i started taking medication for my depression and anxiety. i don't want to be embarrassed or ashamed to admit this because i want people to know that it's okay to treat your mental illnesses. it's not something we should try to hide or be ashamed of. i've been going to therapy and started taking meds a few weeks ago and i can honestly say it's started to help.

so i'm sorry that it's been so long, i really want to get into writing this again because it really does bring me joy to know you guys love reading it as much as i love writing it. i have a lot of ideas that i wanna try to get out in the next chapters that i can't wait for you all to read.

so if you leave this chapter with new thoughts, some of them should be this:

1. don't be embarrassed of your mental illness. it's a part of you and it's not something that can be easily controlled but you are stronger than it.

2. i care about you! i love you! even if i don't know you or you don't know me, i still care!

3. you should be excited for the future chapters, i know i am.
