thirty two
-Tyler's P.O.V-
"Alright and ACTION."
I begin walking, following right behind the horse and man riding it in front of me.
God, it's cold.
After a few months of recording, we've finally made it here.
We're currently at Þórsmörk in Iceland.
AKA Trench, day one.
Our director Andrew showed us this place and I gotta say, it's really incredible. I don't think I could imagine a better place for Trench.
Afterward, I talk a little to the camera for our behind the scenes video of Jumpsuit.
"So, I think we're about to wrap on...day one? This is probably- no, absolutely the first time we've ever been able to do a music video longer than one day. It takes a lot of the pressure off, gives us time to make sure we have everything, which is great but on the other hand it's a whole other day of being exhausted and wet and cold. So...the end product, I think, hopefully will be worth it."
-Your P.O.V
I'm currently listening to Josh and Tyler talk to the camera about...moss? I'm a little distracted by how gorgeous of a landscape we're at right now. Iceland is super cold so I have on many, many layers but the freezing cold is worth it for the view in my opinion.
"And they also have to pay four percent of their paychecks...until it's regrown."
Jenna looks shocked, with a slight smile on her face. "Oh my gosh."
We all laugh.
"Okay, I don't know if I can take this cold much longer." Tyler breaks the laughter.
"Totally agreed." I say as we all head back to our vehicles.
A little while later, we arrive back at the hotel we're staying at.
My and Josh's room has a breathtaking view of Iceland.
"I can't believe we get to get married here."
Josh comes up from behind me and wraps his arms around my waist, placing his chin on my shoulder. "I know, I can't believe I get to marry you."
Beginning to blush, I beam and peck his cheek. "You cutie." I compliment.
"So, how do you think day one went?" I ask, going over to my suitcase.
"Oh, pretty good. I think you gotta give the credit to Tyler though, he was the one being filmed today and it was practically freezing outside."
"True, all the shots I saw looked really great though."
"What did you and Jenna do?" Josh asks out of curiosity.
"Just talked about the wedding mostly." I giggle. "She says she's really excited."
"Aw, that's good." Josh places his hands in his pockets. I grab my phone.
"Oh, the twins and Victoria say their flight is taking off now and they should be at the hotel tomorrow morning!" I inform my fiancée with glee.
"Nice, I think my family will be here tomorrow also."
It's gonna be a rather small wedding, just Josh's family, the twins, my sister, Tyler and Jenna. Possibly Brendon if I hear from him anytime soon. I hope he can make it but I'm still not sure, sadly, probably not since the wedding is literally tomorrow.
I knew I'd prefer a smaller wedding anyway, it helps relieve stress.
I already have my wedding dress/jumpsuit picked out and Josh has his suit ready.
(A/N: you'll get to decide in the next chapter or so what you wanna wear lol)
We're getting married this Saturday, I really can't believe how fast time has gone by. It seems like just yesterday Josh was telling me about wanting to get married in Iceland and now here we are.
We're not going on our honeymoon until the music videos for Jumpsuit, Nico and the Niners and Levitate are all finished but I don't really mind. Seeing these beautiful places with my soon to be husband is perfectly fine with me. Next week, we're going to Ukraine for the other music videos.
The location we've picked out in Iceland isn't too far from our hotel, it's really nice inside too.
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe I almost forgot." Josh face palms and pulls something out of his jacket pocket, a tiny box.
He walks over and hands it to me.
"What? Another ring?" I joke, laughing.
"Not quite." Josh replies as I open the box.
It's a dainty necklace.
I look down at it and read the words.
"Josh, this is beautiful. You didn't have to-"
"Are you kidding? You are my sunshine, of course I had to." He giggles, his smile as wide as can be.
I carefully pull it out of the box and Josh takes it from me, putting it around my neck.
Examining it in the mirror, I whisper. "I love it." I pull Josh into an embrace and he kisses me.
"You know, it kinda reminds me of the necklace my mom gave me." I think back.
-FLASHBACK-
"What's gone? What's missing?" Josh grabs my shoulders.
"My necklace. The necklace my mom gave me! I never perform without it." I say, panicking.
"Okay, don't worry. I'm sure we'll find it!" Josh tries to help me search.
"I can't find it!"
-FLASHBACK END-
I'd fiddle with my mom's necklace all the time, when I lost it, I was shattered.
So was that necklace actually...
I'm really glad I have this one now, I already know I'm gonna wear this every day.
"Oh, (Y/N) I'm sorry, I didn't-"
"No! No, don't worry! I love this necklace...I love the guy who gave it to me too."
"What guy? I'll beat him up." Josh jokes.
"I don't know...he's pretty strong." I playfully punch his arm.
"Ow, you are too apparently." He laughs and I do as well.
"Well, we should probably hit the hay, it's getting late and we gotta get up early tomorrow." Josh reminds me, crawling under the blankets.
"What? What time is it?"
"Almost midnight." He replies, his eyes already closed.
I turn my head to the window. "It literally looks like it's 5 PM outside."
"I know, right?"
-Tyler's P.O.V-
Day two goes by rather quick, before I know it, we're packing everything up.
"Ready for Ukraine next week?" Josh starts a conversation with me as we're leaving.
I simply nod. "Uh, are you ready to get married Saturday?"
Josh's eyes grow wide. "Yeah, I think so. I mean, obviously I'm nervous but (Y/N) is helping me calm down a bit." He shrugs.
I don't know if I've said this, but I'm really glad Josh and (Y/N) found each other. Knowing Josh for this long, I know that him and (Y/N) have something really special, I can't see him with anyone else besides her.
I place a hand on his shoulder. "I'm excited. My speech is gonna be so good."
"Oh boy." Josh rolls his eyes.
"Just you wait."
-Your P.O.V-
"You sure are pretty." I whisper at the white horses standing beside me.
"Thanks." Josh replies.
"I was talking to the horses." I chuckle, petting one of them.
Josh looks fake offended, I roll my eyes. "I guess you're pretty too."
He grins.
"Pretty WEIRD. OOOOOOH-" I yell.
Josh laughs. "Okay that was mean, but it was a good joke so I'll let it slide." He fist bumps me and I grin confidently.
...
Before I know it, it's the night before the wedding.
My palms are shaking with nerves as I sit beside Jenna, we decided to grab something to eat with Victoria, Karma and Josh's sisters, Ashley and Abigail as a little bachelorette party.
Since none of us are really party people, we called this a 'bachelorette brunch' instead.
"I'm really happy you're marrying Josh." Abigail says to me, Ashley nods.
"Aw, thanks. I can't wait to be your guys' sister in law." I beam at the thought.
"We look at you like family already, (Y/N)." Ashley chimes in.
I look down at my engagement ring as it sparkles from the sun hitting in directly on.
"It's really stunning." Jenna looks down at it as well.
"Thanks, Jenna." I thank her, she simply smiles.
As our food gets delivered to the table, I hop out of my chair.
"Uh, I'll be right back I have to go to the restroom." I say as I start fast walking away.
I scratch at my arm, trying to slow down my heart rate. I think I'm about to have a panic attack.
Ugh, really? Now? I don't even have anything to worry about it's gonna be FINE.
I quickly shut the door to the bathroom and look in the mirror, trying to deeply inhale.
I hear a knock. "Hey, it's Jenna."
Jenna?
I open the door, Jenna sadly smiles at me.
"Hey, what are you doing?" I ask, wondering why she followed me here.
"You nervous about the wedding?" She just questions me.
I look down slowly and nod my head.
"I get that, that's how I was the day before I was getting married also." She steps inside the tiny corridor with me.
"I hope this isn't awkward for you." She just chuckles.
I chuckle back, feeling a little less tense, my hand begins to fiddle with my new necklace.
"I just wanted to say...getting to know you over these past couple years, I feel like we've definitely connected. Especially since our husbands are in the same band together." She laughs, I laugh as well.
"But from getting to know you, I can tell you this." She grabs my hand. "You have a beautiful mind and a kind heart, I think you're awesome and Josh is so lucky to have you. Tyler and I think you're perfect for Josh. You should hear the way he talks about you when you're not around, he thinks you're an actual angel."
My heart skips a beat, a grin begins to form on my face. "I'm lucky to have him too."
"You guys are a great pair together, I know it for a fact. So no worries about the wedding, I guarantee you it's gonna be great no matter what." Jenna finishes.
I take a deep breath in and out. I hug Jenna. She's definitely gonna be a lifelong friend of mine.
"Thank you, Jenna." I finally relax, Jenna giggles.
"No problem, girl. Now let's head outta here, there's a delicious bagel with my name on it."
