hi guys! this is just my way of thanking you all for sticking with me in this graphic journey and for just being awesome people, awesome friends, and for all the support. i thought this would be more fun and rewarding than a raffle giveaway thing, so yes! for this contest you are going to create a cover for this very book, "Fart's Graphics."

TITLE: fart's graphics

SUBTITLE (optional): andy's party presents

SHORT BLURB: "hey guys i made another cover!" says andy. "andy, just please. stop this," says guys, placing a hand in his pocket. "you know, this- this thing between us," he audibly gulps, "i just don't see it moving forwar- PLEASE DON'T KILL ME WITH THAT PENCIL."

in which a totally normal girl who just wants someone to hug and hold hands with meets a future victim of said agenda. (spoiler alert: they were made for each other)

(in case u didnt get it i wasnt serious and that was a spoof ahaha)

IDEAS/MOOD/COLORS: *for every idea, i would love a female POC model, and no one that famous. i am soft for people with curly/ wavier hair, so yes the curlier the hair the better.

idea 1. manipulated sort of cover, with mixed elements resulting to the graphic looking like a pretty collage. nothing too much happening on the cover though. the simpler things look, the better. also not too strong on the colors. the tone should be light. cool colors would be great, but if your style usually goes for darker colors, please try to stick with more neutral colors.

my preferred colors are pale blues and mustard yellow. if those don't work, anything else is great, but stray away from the purples/magentas. :-)

maybe have the model on the bottom (or in the center), smiling, and then have the elements surround her. you could pick any of these collage themes: earthy (mountains, rocks, forests); floral or tropical (flowers, leaves, vines); astronomical (stars, planets, moons, rocketships); vintage (newspapers, clocks, maps); fashion (denim, weheartit stuff)

you can't find inspiration within these themes then please be free to experiment, but PLEASE no digital age references like mouse pointers, instagram hearts or any of that stuff. also please try to stray away from doodles. but if you think it's gonna complete the look then no problem.

idea 2. still manip, but this time something more retro looking. by this i mean using a model wearing a 70s or early 80s inspired outfit, like a concert tee and a culotte. i like seeing model closer up though, so maybe not include her full body. the mood is fun, and it is up to you to play with the colors, but stick to a color scheme in the 70s of course. (my preferred colors are still light blue and mustard yellow though) her background is just a grunge-y textured one. for the title, go crazy with typography. rough brush fonts like the one i used in my cover "i'll follow the sun" (#32 in this book) would be nice, as well as groovy fonts that they used back then in posters. basically make sure for the most part that the typography is present. :))

idea 3. manip; this one is for if you're transitioning from fantasy covers. i would like a mock-y cover of the model holding up a plate of cake, a baked potato, fries, a bag of chips, a sack of rice-- just any food that she could hold on her palm delicately and then have it glow magically. the colors should 'mock' the mood of a fantasy cover but all the while not make it too intense or mysterious. the background could be a kitchen, a living room, or just anyplace indoors. there could be a smoke of sorts which is coming from the food, which basically is the "aroma." it would be nice to have some sunshine leak through a window somewhere too.
