At night, Branch and Poppy arrived at a diner to meet up with Rose and her boyfriend. Branch changed to his usual but fresh casual look while Poppy dressed in a flower printed dress with ankle boots. She also accessorizes with a bracelet and a flower crown. They enter the diner, only to see Rose and Lownote nearby. She is wearing a pink and orange crop top and a blue long skirt with a large right side slit. She wears brown cowboy boots and a rose of her hair.

"Hey, guys." Branch waved at her as they went to their table.

"Glad you two have arrived." Rose said. "And nice outfit, Poppy."

"Thanks Rose." Poppy giggled as she and Branch sat with them at their table. A group of young adults arrived in the diner as well.

"Hey Rosethorn, glad you're here!" A tanned, muscular young woman with a red mohawk called out. She is wearing a white baggy tank top with torn details, ripped jeans, and boots.

"Barb, glad you could make it." Rose said.

"Yeah, it was worth it." Barb nodded as she and her friends sat with them.

"Guys, this is Poppy, she just moved here." Rose introduced Poppy.

"Hey ya, Popsqueak, my full name is Barbara Rosenberg." She introduced herself.

"It's nice to meet ya."

"Dud, are you that city slut who is having trouble working around the place?" She asked.

"How did you know?" Poppy gasped.

"We also work there, so do Rajesh "Riff" Kumar, Carol Gray, and Sidney "Sid Fret" Harris." She said as three individuals nodded. The athletic guy beside Barb has tanned skin, and long hair with bangs covering his eyes, He is wearing a white singlet with ripped black pants, sneakers, and fingerless gloves. A curvy, fair-skinned young woman with side-shaved, dark blue-dyed long hair and smoky eyeshadow gave a rock hand gesture while drinking beer. She is dressed in a leopard print top with a matching vest, fingerless gloves, daisy duke shorts, military boots, and fishnet leggings. Sid Fret is a plump, Afro-American man in his 20s, wearing a zebra print headband, a leather vest, muddy purple tank top, denim shorts, and boots.

"It's nice to meet you all." Poppy said.

"Not all of them are here." Rose said. "We're missing Val, Holly, Demo, Gust Tumbleweed, and Blaze Powerchord, they also work in the ranch."

"Sorry, we're late!" A chubby, East Asian girl called out as she arrived at the diner with four individuals behind her. She has purple hair with several white streaks, purple webbed wings, and red eyes jumped off it. Her hair is styled into two pigtails with red hairbands, and she has purple lipstick. She has a purple hoop earring on her left ear, and two red and blue colors on her right, as well as a purple stud. She wears a purple ripped skirt, a black tank top with a red heart and crossbones motif that exposes her belly button, and a black studded belt. She also has black studded bracelets, blue fingerless gloves, a black armband on her left upper arm, black boots, and a purple and red leg warmer on her left leg. A stocky, curvy, Indigenous American girl with large light blue hair styled into a ponytail walked beside her. She wears a white top with a ruffle and pink rim that exposes her midriff, blue denim jeans, and dark blue cowboy boots. An African-American with dark blue hair in a large spiky style, a chubby figure, and a soul patch on his chin rushed behind her. He wears a white collared shirt, a gray-white vest, a purple and black striped necktie, wine-colored pants, sneakers, and a black studded belt. He also has black ear studs. Another African-American man strode in beside him. He is big, brawny, and stocky, with purple curly hair with blue streaks, and a goatee. He wears a red tank top, black pants, matching army boots, and a grey belt with a skull buckle. He also has black studded bracelets, a grey armband on his left arm, and a hoop earring and stud on each ear. He has a set of black shades. A pudgy but athletic, Latino young man with brown hair and blue eyes walked behind them. He wears a black hat with a blue stripe, a light blue shirt, blue denim pants, a dark brown belt, black cowboy boots, and a brown vest with a sheriff badge.

"Sherriff Agustin, it's so good you're finally here." Barb smirked.

"I just got a day off today so that we can hang out." He answered. "I see we have a new filly in our team."

"Poppy, this is Tomoe "Val Thundershock" Kaminari, Hayley "Holly Darlin'" Topsannah, Damien "Demo" Lopez, Blake "Blaze Powerchord" Washington, and the resident sheriff of this town, Agustin "Gust Tumbleweed" Santiago." Rose introduced them to her.

"Hi." Poppy greeted sheepishly.

"Hey, Ms. Poppy." Holly said. "What brings you here?"

"I just moved here recently." She answered.

"Oh, so you're from the city?" Val asked her.

"Yeah." Poppy nodded.

"I can see that, you struggled hard with ranch life." Holly said.

"But it's alright dear." Gust added. "You'll get used to it."

"Thanks." She sighed.

"What can I get you?" The waitress asked them.

"What are we waiting for, let's order our dinner!" Rose said.

Poppy felt like she could cry because she not only met new friends, she got a happy circle of friends to trust, as well as the Rivera family, whom her grandmother is friends with too.
