... for the time being, leaving all worries and shame behind them. 

After the Magician and Amor voiced out their worries and fears to the Healer, the time to reopen the door and reveal the clue-filled secrets has finally come.

𝒯𝒶ℯ𝒽𝓎𝓊𝓃 w/ 𝒦𝒶𝒾

"Tae, come to our tree house as soon as you're free. I have something urgent to tell you." 

With the starting up wheels in my head, already preparing for making up incredible solutions, I rushed out of the cozy darker room straight to the peaceful clearing fabulously contrasting with my mood. The tepid morning breeze caused the goosebumps on my bare forearms, when I was suddenly stopped by a touch on my shoulder. 

Looking slightly up, I gave the surprised Prince I almost bumped into my brightening smile. 

"Taehyun-a," Soobin remarked with a raised tone and hissed. Be careful. 

"My apologize... I got too excited. I can not wait to finally see Hyuka and what he got," I giggled, as I took a step aside.  

Kai actually didn't even mention what's going on, but I felt the universe moving in my favor.

"No wonder... I'm glad to see you full of energy again," with sincere pleasure, Prince's expression warmed as well.

"I think the stars are aligned in my favor today, haha."

"Definitely," the prophet nodded and patted my shoulder before letting it go. "Kai has some key words for you to work with..."

"Key words?" My eyes twinkled.

"Mhmhm," the elf nodded again touching his ear. "It was not entrusted to me though, so just go... Gogo," he added already sweeping me away with his hand and let out a light laugh, when I was just staring at him in expectation for a while.

Yet I didn't have to be told twice.

"Oh by the way! Beomgyu tells you to move your ass or he will keep Yeonjun for himself. Seeyou," I fleetly pecked Soobin's soft cheek and slightly jumped into a run across this center of the camp.

He tells what-?

I only managed to chuckle at his grimace.

Passing the couch near the smoldering fireplace, I took a few long jumps and only barely touched the dusty ground with my toes so as not to disturb the boy who was sleeping on it. Then I spawned against the tree and ran energetically up its trunk until I could catch hold of a branch from which I sprang and elegantly landed straight on the desk in front of the small dwelling.

There he was, swaying with my existence.

He's so graceful... made me gasp in awe. 

Kai was already waiting there... sitting with his calves hanging down. He seemed lost in thought as his eyes observed intently something in his palm.

A blue tit tilting its head and jumping from Amor's thumb to his straightened index finger tried in vain to get his full attention...

Something's bothering him...

"Here I am," I called out, my voice clear and subdued in the light mist interwoven with the first pale rays of the sun.

Blue wings fluttered. The tit flew away with a chirp... I was the one blessed with the subtle familiar smile that greeted me.

"I know... prompt as always."

With those words alike an invitation... I approached him, my gaze questioned about the decoration, which I could already recognize up close, sitting down next to him. The warrior fish?

"The waves of the sea brought it back to me... I guess it's time for me to pluck up the courage and become brave for real," the angel bit on his lip nervously.

For real...? My lips slightly parted to the void as I reached for his hand. I'm listening.

"To not keep you waiting - Soobin's senses led us to a mermaid in a bay nearby. She revealed me an anagram of our demon's name and told me to only share it with you since my mind is untouchable for it and you should be able to find the demon's true name... thus how to fight it, defend against it... or even defeat it."

Other times, Kai's voice would be like meditation music to me, but now...

"Oh gods of course I am!" I was immediately back on my feet out of the enthusiasm, "with Yeonjun's describtion it's gonna be a piece of cake! Just throw it at me! I'm so ready! I knew today is the day!" I'll kick that monster's ugly as-

Hyuka let out a quiet chuckle, shaking his head above the cuteness of my dedication and lowered his head with a glum smile, sparkling in the corner of his lips and eyes.

"The cat demon is not what's really bothering you right now, is that so?"

The angel slowly got up and adjusting the ruffles on the sleeves of his white shirt he nibbled on his lips. Then he stepped towards me, grabbed my hand and opened the door overgrown with ivy. 

"It would be better to talk about it inside." 

After the action was explained, I followed him to the room built in the treetops. Walking backwards into its secrecy, I watched the uneasy fairy of light shutting out the world outside. Leaving out the anomalous space-time, there was only... you and I. 

Finally, Kai also turned inside and walked briskly to the bed behind me, where he sat down and combed his fair hair, reflecting the light of a few pale rays penetrating here through the round ornamental windows. 

"I'll pass you the anagram, but before I do so and you delve into the research - I need to ask you for something," he pitched unexpectedly. 

"What is it about?" 

"I think- before my blood ran wild and I began to fight my shadows desperately... I sensed something... something that had bitten into my subconscious. But it's so deep that no matter how hard I try, I can't find it through the mists the pixie dust left behind." 

So that's what his amber eyes were searching for? 

"You want me... to leaf through your subconscious," I was clarifying. 

"It's not in my waking memory. You have my permission," he confirmed. 

"Okay then," I nodded to myself. In an instant, my irises flashed lavender and I got on my knees on the bed behind Kai. 

"Right now?" he wondered, looking back at me. His eyes widened in surprise. 

"You seem pretty tired and unable to fall asleep without an answer. Those signs are clear 'yes'," I explained to him with an adamant wink. 

Panic peeked out from behind Hyuka's uncertain grin. 

"Don't be afraid... just trust me," I whispered soothingly to him as I so carefully guided his body to relax into my arms. 

"I do trust you... as always." 

... but do I trust myself? - the angel doubted himself. 

"There is nothing that can shake us, Kai... We are one with everything that belongs to us... I'm yours and you're mine... all of you. Both your light and shadows," I continued to comfort him... caressing back the strands of his blond hair, gently pecking his temple... making him loosen his tensed drooping eyelids. 

"I love you, Taehyun...," the relaxed exhale carrying my name warmly shook my heart that gently bumped against his shoulder blade, as he reached for my hand. 

"I love you more..." 

With my breath held, I lovingly kissed his reddened clouds... 

... and then, with our fingers tightly intertwined, I moved my lips under his earlobe. 

"Gracious Amor, I come with the purest intentions... Take me to your hazy secrets, the deepest abyss of yesterday..."
