Part 48

After waking up from sleep, Arnav and Khushi had their "lunch" in the "evening" together. Because of tiredness, they woke up only in the evening.

Khushi: Shall we go to Corbyncov beach?

Arnav: Nothing doing. Go to sleep. We have to start early in the morning.

Khushi(excitedly): Are we going somewhere?

Arnav: Yup.

Khushi: But you said that we are not going anywhere?

Arnav: It's important. That's why.

Khushi: What so important?

Arnav: You will get to know it tomorrow.

Khushi: Won't you tell me now?

Arnav: Nope.

Khushi: However I will know that in the morning.

Arnav smiled at her sarcastically making Khushi frown. That's when Arnav's phone started ringing. He smiled seeing Ratna's number.

Arnav: Hi Maa...

Ratna: How was your flight?

Arnav: Awesome maa.

Ratna: What is Khushi doing?

Arnav: Just beside me.

He passed the phone to Khushi.

Khushi: Hi aunty...

Ratna: Hi baby... hope you fine.

Khushi: yup.

Ratna: Where are you?

Khushi: In a hotel room?

Ratna: Hotel room? I thought you must be roaming.

Khushi: We are going, tomorrow aunty.

Ratna: Ohh... where?

Khushi: I don't know aunty.

Ratna: What do mean?

Khushi: He is not opening his mouth.

Ratna: Ohh it's a kind of surprise then...

Khushi: I think so.

Ratna: Wait. La wants to talk to you.

Khushi: Yah...

Ratna passed the phone to LA.

Khushi: Hi, are you ready to go to Manali?

La: Nope.

Khushi(confused): Why? Your flight is tomorrow morning, right?

La: We canceled it.

Khushi(shocked): What??? But why? Are you alright?

La: No. I'm not ok.

Khushi: What happened to you?

La: I feel vomiting all the time and also tired.

Khushi: My God... take rest. You can go after some days.

LA: No. I can't go at least for the next few years.

Khushi (confused): What do you mean?

Ratna took the phone from La's hand.

Ratna: It's because I'm going to be granny soon...

Khushi was stuck for a while without getting anything. She jumped screaming when she understood.

Khushi (screaming): Ohhh... Myyyyy Goddddd... Really?

Arnav looked at her jerking. Khushi turned the speaker on, letting him hear it.

Ratna: Yap... We confirmed it just now. We just came from the Hospital.

Khushi: where is Nanne?

Ratna: Wait.

NK took the phone while scratching his head.

Khushi: Didn't someone say that he will wait for his elder brother in everything? Where is he?

NK (chuckled): This is all not in our hands Khushi. God gave us.

Khushi: Ohh really? Would God have given if you had been quiet?

NK (pretending): Ohhh do you want to talk to La? Wait I will pass the phone...

Khushi: Nanne... wait... don't run...

NK stuffed the phone in La's hand and ran away to his room. La stuffed it in Ratna's hand and she followed NK.

Ratna(shouting): La slowly... (she nodded no smilingly)

Khushi: We will come as soon as possible aunty.

Ratna: No need. I'm here to take care of La. So you just enjoy your honeymoon because this chance won't come again. See, what happened to La? Anything can happen anytime. So don't miss the chance.

Khushi: You are so sweet, aunty.

Ratna (whispering): You to come with good news. Ok?

Khushi looked at Arnav blushing.

Arnav: Mom... we just started enjoying. So don't expect that kind of news soon. Let us live for ourselves for few years.

Ratna (sighed): ok. Take care of my Bahu.

Arnav: Yup.

Looking at Khushi, Arnav cut the call.

Arnav: Why are you staring at me?

Khushi: Is it true?

Arnav: what?

Khushi: Are you going to enjoy yourself with me for few years?

Arnav (shrugging his shoulders): Of course... Any doubt?

Khushi: For few years?

Arnav: Yes. Why doubt?

She snaked his waist leaning on his chest.

Khushi: Only you and me?

Arnav: Yes... only you and me.

Khushi: Do you love me that much?

Arnav: Any doubt?

Khushi nodded no.

Arnav: Then why are you asking?

Khushi: To hear it from Kadoos.

Arnav (chuckled): Am I kadoos?

Khushi: Not exactly. But yes.

Arnav: Don't confuse your pea-sized brain. Go to sleep. We have to wake up early in the morning.

Khushi: Where will you take me?

Arnav (smirking): Good night.

Khushi: You are indeed a Kadoos.

Arnav: Thank you.

He laid on the bed.

Khushi: oh my God...

Arnav: What?

Khushi: What will I wear tomorrow?

Arnav: Take it from my suitcase.

Khushi: Am I going to wear your dress?

Arnav (chuckled): Check it.

Khushi huffed in relief seeing some decent dress in his suitcase.

Khushi: Say it at first... Arnav and letting people see his wife half-naked?

Arnav: No way... all of you is mine.

Khushi: I know...

She said drawing patens on his chest.

Arnav: don't you want to go outing tomorrow?

Khushi: Mmm

Arnav: Then stop sketching on my chest. I may cancel the program.

He said huskily while biting her ear lobe.

Khushi: I already slept.

Saying, she fell on the bed and snored loudly making him laugh.

Next morning

Khushi got ready. She was so curious to know where Arnav is taking her. She got awe-struck when she saw the person standing right in front of her eyes. He is Raju Kaka who worked in their school. How did Arnav find him out? Is he the one who is going to guide them? Then there won't be any chance to know about the place until they reached there.

Khushi: Namaste Raju Kaka.

Raju: How are you Bitiya? How is Shashi Sahib?

Khushi: He is fine and he will be happy knowing about you. (pause) Are you coming with us?

Raju: Haan bitiya, don't you know it's not that easy to roam in Andaman alone?

Yes, he was not wrong. It will be good to have someone who knows Andaman well. In that case, Arnav had chosen a very apt person. No one other than Raju Knows Andaman well. He spoke five "tribe languages" along with Hindi, Tamil, and Bengali. He also had a GUN license.

Now, Khushi is more curious. Where Arnav is taking her? If he approached Raju Kaka then he is taking somewhere interior Andaman.

They started by car. Arnav and Khushi took back seat whereas Raju Kaka sat beside the driver. Their car geared up for a beautiful experience of a lifetime.

Khushi elated seeing sky-high trees, bosky forests, and tribe people of Andaman. After one and half an hour of traveling, their car got into a "ferry-boat" and it started moving. Raju kaka turned towards the back seat and smiled at them.

Raju: I can't believe that you both got married. Still, I could remember, how Arnav bought you to the chocolate shop taking you on his back... Piggy-back...

He laughed while Khushi blushed like hell. Arnav nudged her raising his eyebrows smilingly.

Cinque Island

Khushi closed her mouth with her palms with wide opening eyes seeing "Cinque Island". It's a pair of islands connected by a "sand bar" in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Khushi couldn't believe that she is standing on Cinque Island where she and Arnav came with their family. That time she was so small and few more families visited here with their families.

Khushi started running in the sand bar which connects two islands. Arnav rolled his pant up and followed her. She jumped on Arnav's back circling her legs around his waist.

Khushi: Take me inside the sea.

She ordered him but got confused seeing him heading towards the forest which was near the beach.

Khushi: where are you going?

Arnav: Shhhh...

Khushi: Are you going to give me coconuts?

Arnav: Nope.

Khushi frowned seeing him searching for something in tree trunks.

Khushi: What are you searching for?

Arnav: When we were in the third year, our college organized a four days tour to Andaman.

Khushi: Really?

Arnav: Yap. Akash was busy with Saritha and Anjali was with Mama (Shyam) at that time. (Khushi was listening to him while keeping her chin on his shoulder) I was left alone here. That time, I couldn't resist remembering you. If you would have been with me then I would be enjoyed the trip more than anyone. That day I thought to bring you here.

Khushi went speechless hearing his story. Was he really thinking of her? Arnav stopped in front of a particular tree all smiling. Khushi; who was looking at his face without blinking, turned her face to see, what made him smile. Her eyes tear up instantly seeing "TINTIN" being sculptured on the tree trunk.

Arnav: I curved your name that day.

She got down from his waist without taking her eyes from the trunk. She caressed it softly gulping. Arnav puzzled seeing her expression. He thought she would start curving his name beside hers. But nothing happened like that. She circled his neck and he heard a soft whimper.

Arnav: Khushi...

He pulled her from the hug and looked at her bewildered.

Arnav: Khushi...

Khushi(cutting him): I LOVE U...

She cupped his face and started kissing all over his face uttering I LOVE U in between every kiss. We don't have to say that Arnav's face got occupied with a pleasant smile. Seeing him smiling, she arrested his lips and sucked them until they get swollen.

Arnav: Hey... What's this?

Khushi: Why didn't you say anything to me? Keeping a lot of love in your heart, how could you be stony damn it?

Arnav: What to do? I'm like that...

Khushi punched his stomach.

Arnav: What the...

Khushi: I'm like this...

She again tried to punch him, he started running towards the sea chased by Khushi. When they reached the beach, circling her waist, he and jumped into the sea.

Andaman beaches saw their stories before too but today, what it witnessed was completely unseen. The same giggle, same laugh, same atrocity... but in a different mode. "Adult mode". Those were being filled with adoration, Passion, and a lot of love for each other.

Not only today, but their life is also going be like this... long-lasting... with full of youthfulness.

We had seen enough of their fights as well as love. Though we will never get enough of them this is time to take their leave, leaving them in the land all alone to enjoy their life where they met ten years before...
