6, DESPERATE

"Don't worry he is your best friend afterall," Jeongguk whispers, gawking with his mouth open. He stares himself at the tall mirror, fidgeting with his jacket.

"Correction, boyfriend." His minds says otherwise.

A groan escaped his mouth while parting his hair for his forehead to get an exposure.

Jeongguk spent an hour to get himself ready. Afterall, it was his first date ever. He once again saved himself, tossing his silky hair back with a flourish. His silky bangs stiffened on his forehead, and his fierce eyes and the mole under his lips made him look more ravishing.

The man applied the perfume to his body while humming his favourite song. The room was tainted with that fragrance. Jeongguk gave one last touch to his dress. It was casual yet so fashionable to wear.

For te last time, Jeongguk fidgeted with his leather jacket, turns his back to the mirror and watches Bam infront of him.
He bent at an angle to hug his neck while whispering softly,
"I got to go Bam, Shezam must be waiting for me."

At the end, he gave a quick kiss on Bam's temple before sending him to Mrs. Stillon's house to look him after until Jeongguk came back.

He looked closely in his adorable pet eyes until the lady closes the door. Moving forward, Jeongguk positioned himself on the seat before rotating the steering wheel and accelerating to the mentioned destination.

In the whole ride, there was something stucked in his gut which he couldn't able to swallowed it down his throat. It's confiscated at the very place, and he found it difficult to vanish any soon. His eyes carries a galaxy of emotion, where every type of feeling sustain their presence.
From guilt to excitement, everything.

The GPS speaker ceased its voice as soon as Jeongguk reached the mentioned destination. The place was beautiful and astonishing in itself. As Jeongguk walked further, he can't help but to admire the place that surrounds him. Here, comes the garden.

The tattooed guy placed his hand and traced him finger on the wooden door side, observing it's authenticity. He craned his neck to look how long it was, and found it too tall to be measured.

Upon crossing the threshold, he looked around only to widened his eyes. It was filled with all type of flowers and bushes you could find. Though his knowledge in flowers in zero, he felt amused by all the floura around him, it was magnificent.

Behind the colorful garden, a vintage shop made its presence.
Standing in front of the vintage shop, he saw a charmingly weathered building with a retro sign hanging above the door, maybe a bit faded but still inviting.

The window displays are packed with an assortment of quirky finds-vintage clothing, antique knick-knacks, and nostalgic memorabilia-all arranged with a casual, eclectic flair. There's a cozy, almost lived-in feel to the place, with old-fashioned details and a welcoming vibe that makes Jeongguk want to step inside and explore.

When he wandered his eyes, a round table and a freshly vase placed on the centre came in his sight. There, Shezam leaned on the wall, almost staring at Jeongguk.

When their eyes matched the same line of vision, Jeongguk drive his chest forward, holding his bouquets higher, the closer Jeongguk reached near Shezam. Their eyes met, having a conversation with them.

As he reached close to his figure, Jeongguk brings his flower down, blinking in attempts to follow his nerves away from what the date ahead meant. He hold his jaw captive, and says,
"You look stunning."

A smile touched Shezam's features as he points down the wonderful and sexy fashion of the latter. "You too, shall we have a seat then?"

Jeongguk nodded in agreement before handling the bouquet filled with white roses to Shezam. The sharp fragrance of flowers striked his nose as he got them in his hands. His noses buried in the gift inhaling its intoxicated fragrance.
"Its amazing...thank you gguk,"

The latter smiled grew as soon as he heard Shezam before he could respond from his side, a sudden grip halted his self being right there. Hie eyes widened as Shezam tightened his arms around Jeongguk's neck and crashed his lips against the shocked guy. Realising the situation, Jeongguk travelled his hands down to his waist and pressed their bodies close.

The intense kiss continued, his hands travelled in Shezam's shirt, and his fingers pulled every strand of Jeongguk's hair, to get more and more. The latter hands moved to Shezam's clothed crotch.

Aware of Jeongguk intension, that Yankee departed and laughs off, leaving his best friend in extreme confusion.
"We are here for a date Jeongguk, not for soem sex."

"But-I needed you," he whispered while putting his heads down.

"Aww, no worries we will enjoy it later...what do you say?"
Shezam smirked to Jeongguk. Watching this, he held by his wait before getting dangerously close to buranette moist lips.

"Remeber you got a beast to serve after this date."

Shezam laughs, Jeongguk joins the laughter before they both plunged their butts on the comfortable chair.

"So what would you like to have?" The American guy questioned while looking fixedly on the menu. Jeongguk caught his and scanned the list.

"How about a coffee?" Erin asked while taking a peice of her pastry from the plate and shoving in her mouth. Taehyung gazed her and then to his phone, scrolling down through random reels. He hummed as a reply, thus she stood up and blowed down the layer before handling the cup to him.

"So..." she continued and took an another bite of that butterscotch flavour.
"What are your schedules for today?"

Taheyung flipped his phone and an anticipated sigh escaped his mouth before he rubbed his temple. Exhausted, few words came through his lips. "Boeing Jin Air...what's yours?"

Erin smiled before cutting down a small part of its bread and spoke, "I got Korea airbus 342."

"It must be just 1 hour of destination," the male whispered knowing how long he has to travel this afternoon...for 4 hours straight. His back already ached with the thought.

She laughs. "You get what you deserve!"

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes making her laugh more in that cafeteria.

"By the way...." Erin voice alarmed taking his attention. She wiped her fingers and mouth off with a tissue placed near beside her elbow.

"I and Hwan are about to throw a party and you are invited,"
Taehyung eyebrows knitted in dilemma and his eyes laced with a hint of confusion. He took a slow sip from his regular cappuccino and questioned her after. "What's that for?"

"Hwan actually got a deal with a famous corporate so to celebrate the celebration we are throwing a party and that's the reason you are coming, no excuses." Her voice warned his decisions before he nodded minutely and agreeing to make his presence in the party.

Erin beaming with a smile, waves off her hair back. "Hey, I just read your newly updated chapter and damn, it was worth to read." A wide rectangular grin displayed on his face as soon as he heard her compliment, and spoke a small 'thank you' before bringing the cup closer to the gap of his lips. His mouth apart and sucked the last drop of his drink.

"No like for real, you deserve more recognition Tae,"

"I don't know when that's going to happen," he shrugs off.

"Alright...well...I observed how you are not getting those random crushes you used to get." Erin enquired with a mischief tone in her voice. Taehyung laughs and rolls his eyes back. "I don't know...It's just I am not having much interest in someone these days,"

"Oh you might be setting your bars high handosme." A side smile featured as she mentioned the suspected reason out of all.

"Maybe." He rolled his eyes again before getting his mouth wiped off from the stains that happened because of the caffeine.

Eventually, the busted voice of those cornered speakers echoed in the hall, gathering everyone attention.
"Attention captains, your lunch has been ended successfully...kindly get back to your respective take off grounds accordingly. Thank you and have a safe flight."

Erin exchanged glances with her best friend. "Anyways I gotta go now, you enjoy your break time...your flight must be at 2?"
Taehyung aggred in the agreement. Her shoes heels tossed around and with a swift handshake she left him.

At this point, there were only few pilots present, not bothering Taehyung's attention. He flipped his phone before unlocking wattpad. An exaggerated groan left when he didn't find any relevant notification.

His thumb pad hovered over JK's account and thought,
Not even one message? Ofcourse, he might be bored of you.

Upon watching this, he exhaled a sigh that tensed his shoulders more. With a swift, Taehyung opened his conversation box only to type....
Is anyone active? I am getting bored :<

Jeongguk rested his face on the palm tiredly while his elbow stood against the table to support himself. The nonstop talkative nature of Shezam bored him a lot. His eyes about to dozed off with sleep, his shoulder drained off and his ears exhausted.

Oh how he wish to just kiss Shezam hardly on the spot, the only way to shut him up. Though, his vocals were very soothing, however Jeongguk was not a person to hear much of anything.

"After that you know, I and -" the talkative man stopped the moment, he observed Jeongguk almost shaking his heads down-a second behind to get knocked off. "Jeongguk are you even listening?"

The sudden growl and sharp voice startled him, he straightened his back while blinking severely to look out his boyfriend. The back of his hand rubbed his eyes and uttered, "Y-yes of course baby."

Shezam only kept watching until Jeongguk gets back to his awaken state, his eyes wandering down until they met Jeongguk's exposed chest, where the white t-shirt bent down exposing it a little. He licked his bottom lip before getting himself back to Jeongguk answers.
"Sorry, I just-please continue,"

"Do you want me to get you a drink?"

"If that's possible." His voice hoarse that spent chills down his spine. "Alright just wait."

The American guy walked off the table, and get himself inside of the shop. Jeongguk groaned lowly before resting his hand and face on the table, a kind of regret boozed his veins as he spoke,
"I thought it must be fun-but all he do is just talk some random shits....why I never noticed before."

The voiced trailed down back of his head. But a ting noise from his phone caught him, demanding his intention to look at.
That was from....

@Vantae30_u wrote on their messages board,
Is anyone active? I am getting bored :<

An adorable grin featured and Jeongguk flashed a smile before his head jerked off. He was happy atleast V was somehow active to let go of his boredom. He typed on their chat section.

[@Jk_moon_1997]
Hey? Are you here?

It was not even a minute until Taeyung received a message that popped up on the top of his screen.
1 personal message from @Jk_moon_1997

With widened eyes, Taehyung hurridely went to his chat areas before typing...

[@Vantae30_u]
Hello! What's up?

Jeongguk smile grew knowing how they both were desperate to talk each other.

[@Jk_moon_1997]

[@Vantae30_u]

[@Jk_moon_1997]
Like...your favourites?

Jeongguk was about to fire off a quick message to V when he heard the clanging of metal. He glanced up, spotting Shezam coming out of the vintage shop, elbow deep in closing the gate behind him. Both his hands were full-one clutching a pair of foggy glasses, and the other holding a tall glass filled with some neon blue drink, probably tequila or something equally as wild.

Jeongguk froze, eyes wide. He hurriedly shoved his phone into his pocket, trying to act casual as Shezam approached.

"Yo, gguk, got your drink right here," Shezam said, sliding the blue drink across the table.

Jeongguk grabbed it, trying to distract himself. He chugged the drink in one go, feeling the alcohol hit him hard and fast.

Shezam cocked an eyebrow, taking a slow, deliberate sip from his glass. "Bruh, why you chugging like it's water? And why you sweating? What's up?"

Jeongguk forced a laugh, shaking his head. "Sweatin'? Nah, man, you seeing things. I'm cool, real cool."

Shezam didn't look convinced, but he didn't push it. Instead, he started rambling about some random story, every word pulling Jeongguk's attention away from his pocket. Jeongguk was itching to check his phone, but every time he tried to sneak a peek, Shezam would lean in closer, dropping his voice like he was sharing some deep secret.

"Yo, you hear about that chick at the record store? She was straight up wildin', knockin' over records like a hurricane. And then..."

Jeongguk tried to nod along, but his mind was elsewhere, locked on his phone. He was desperate to see if V had hit him back, but Shezam wasn't letting up. The dude was like a hawk, always catching him just as he was about to pull out his phone.

Shezam leaned back, taking another slow sip. "You good, bro? You seem kinda... distracted."

"Nah, I'm good," Jeongguk said quickly, forcing a grin. "Just, uh, thinking 'bout something. Nothing serious."

"Yeah? Cuz you look like you got something on your mind." Shezam asked.

Jeongguk's grin faltered for a split second, and Shezam caught it.
"Don't worry, nothing much!"

Shezam wasn't buying it, but he leaned back in his chair, finally giving Jeongguk a bit of space. Jeongguk took a deep breath, casually reaching for his pocket, but Shezam wasn't done. "You sure?"

Jeongguk barely managed to suppress an eye roll. "yes, it's all good. Just some boring stuff."

He finally managed to get his phone halfway out when Shezam leaned forward again, dropping his voice. "Yo, but for real, if you need help with anything... or anyone, just let me know."

Jeongguk snapped his phone back into his pocket, trying to hide his frustration. He forced another smile. "Appreciate it, man. I'll keep that in mind."

Shezam nodded, satisfied for now, but Jeongguk knew he'd have to find a way to check his phone soon. The suspense was killing him, but Shezam wasn't about to make it easy.

Jeongguk was completely spent. Shezam had been talking for what felt like hours, and while Jeongguk nodded along, his thoughts were stuck on his phone, burning a hole in his pocket. It had been over 30 minutes since he messaged V-way too long.

"He's probably already gone," Jeongguk thought, trying to hide his frustration as he half-listened to Shezam.

Finally, Shezam seemed to run out of steam. They both got up from the table, and Shezam caught a glimpse of Jeongguk's tired expression.

"Yo, you look wiped out," Shezam said, his voice softer, a hint of concern creeping in. "What's really goin' on?"

Jeongguk forced a weak smile, shaking his head. "I'm good, just tired. It's been a long day."

But before he could say anything else, Shezam moved in closer, catching Jeongguk off guard. He slid his arms around Jeongguk's waist from behind, pulling him in tight.

"What are you-" Jeongguk started, but the words got stuck in his throat as Shezam pressed his lips to Jeongguk's, the kiss sudden and intense.

Jeongguk's eyes widened in shock, his body tensing at first. But then, as Shezam's lips moved against his, something inside Jeongguk shifted. He let himself lean into it, the frustration and anticipation from earlier melting away as he kissed back.

When they finally pulled apart, both of them were a little breathless. Shezam kept close, his lips grazing Jeongguk's as he whispered, his voice low, "Just chill here, okay? I'm gonna go pay the bill."

Jeongguk blinked, still trying to process what just happened. "Uh, yeah... sure," he mumbled, feeling slightly dazed.

As Shezam walked away, Jeongguk stood there, his mind spinning. He could still feel the lingering warmth of the kiss on his lips, the surprise quickly turning into something else-something that left a small, contented smile on his face.

Whatever tension he had been holding onto was gone now, replaced by a strange sense of calm. He didn't know what to make of it, but for the moment, he didn't care.

Jeongguk's heart raced as he grabbed his phone, seeing a barrage of messages from V. His screen was filled with frantic texts begging for his attention.

[@Vantae30_u]
Yeah, so I like strawberries and green.
What about you [8: 10 pm]

I even adore dogs...maybe will get one day. XD [8:13 pm]

You said you have a dog right? What's his name? [8:14 pm]

??? [8: 17 pm]

Hey, where are you?
are you perhaps busy? :( [8:21 pm]

I guess yes :< [8: 23 pm]

So, I'll take my leave now byeeee! :) [8:25 pm]

Jeongguk cursed under his breath, feeling the weight of his guilt. "Damn it," he muttered. Just as he was about to type a reply, the door swung open. Shezam walked in, shoving his wallet into his pocket. Jeongguk's gaze slipped to Shezam's Calvin briefs showing as he crouched, and he quickly shoved his phone out of sight.

Shezam, glowing in the moonlight, came up to him and grabbed his hand. Before Jeongguk could say anything, Shezam kissed him intensely, no softness at all. Jeongguk was caught off guard but immediately melted into the kiss, matching the passion.

When they finally pulled apart, Shezam's eyes were locked on Jeongguk's lips. "I can't wait any longer," Shezam said, glancing around. "Let's do it right here."

Jeongguk's eyes widened. "Wait, what? Here? Are you serious?"

"Yeah," Shezam said, his voice hushed but urgent. "I need you already -besides there's no one."

Jeongguk hesitated for a moment, his mind racing between the need to reply to V and the heat of the moment with Shezam. Finally, he gave in and leaned in again, trying to block everything else out.

"I'll reply him later."
