17, IGNORED

Jeongguk groaned, the sunlight slanting through the blinds stinging his eyes. The room was a mess—wasted condo, wrappers, clothes, Shezam’s bare body tangled in sheets. He stared at the ceiling, feeling the sting of hickeys on his skin. "What a damn mess," he mumbled, trying to shake off the cold pit forming in his stomach despite the warm sun on his face.

He stood there, completely naked, the memory of V’s texts flashing through his mind. His body reacted before he could control it, his dick standing to attention. He groaned, running a hand through his messy hair. "Shit, not now," he muttered, feeling embarrassed as hell.

His erection standing embarrassingly proud. He cursed under his breath, shaking his head as if to clear the thoughts.

His eyes darted to his phone, lying just out of reach. All he wanted was to grab it and maybe figure out what the hell was going on in his head. He took a step, careful not to make a sound, but just as his fingers brushed the screen, a voice behind him made him freeze.

"You want another round?"

Jeongguk turned, his heart skipping a beat. Shezam was awake, rubbing his eyes and grinning like he knew exactly what was going through Jeongguk’s mind.

His face flushed deep red as he realized how he must look, standing there naked and clearly aroused. He quickly grabbed his pants, yanking them on in a rush, trying to cover himself up.

"N-no, just—" he stammered, fumbling with the zipper, "just needed my phone.” He forced a laugh, but his mind was racing. All he wanted was to check those messages, but now he was trapped in this awkward moment, trying to shake off the weird mix of feelings.

Shezam grinned as he got closer, all naked...his dick was throbbing hard and unbothered , standing there like it was nothing—Jeongguk had seen him naked more times than he could count. Without warning, Shezam grabbed Jeongguk’s waist and yanked him in, crashing their lips together. Jeongguk, still clutching his phone, was caught off guard.

"Damn, Jeongguk," Shezam whispered hotly against his ear, "you feel so fucking good. I can’t get enough."

He murmured between kisses, his voice low and sultry. "You feel so good inside me, Jeongguk. I want you deep."

Jeongguk’s mind was all over the place. He’d just been thinking about V’s texts, but now Shezam’s hands were wandering, making it impossible to focus on anything but him. The heat between them was undeniable.

"Yeah? Keep talking, and I’ll give you exactly what you want," he growled, pushing his body into Shezam’s.

Amidst of the heated moment, and his throbbing dick...his mind was still tangled up in thoughts of V, and the phone in his hand was a constant reminder.

Shezam’s hands were already moving, sliding down Jeongguk’s abs, teasing at the waistband of his pants, teasing and kneading.

"Make me feel it again, Jeongguk. I want all of you, again. Don’t hold back."

Jeongguk’s grip tightened on his phone, thoughts of V barely a whisper in his mind. "You know I won’t," he said, forcing himself to stay focused on Shezam. "Just how you like it, every time."

Shezam moaned softly, his body moving eagerly against Jeongguk. "I want it rough. Show me how much you want me."

Jeongguk, caught between the heat of the moment and the nagging reminders of V, shook off the thoughts and gave himself over completely. "I’m here. All yours," he murmured, lips pressing back into Shezam’s with renewed hunger.

As Jeongguk and Shezam lay on the bed, their bodies glistening with sweat and their breaths coming in heavy pants, Jeongguk’s mind was still racing. He leaned back, trying to catch his breath, and noticed his phone lying beside him.

"Hold on a sec," Jeongguk mumbled, reaching for his phone. Shezam, still catching his breath, shot him a curious look but said nothing, content to relax.

Jeongguk unlocked his phone and saw a string of messages from V, his heart skipping a beat. He scrolled through them, hoping for a new reply, but there was nothing. Just a string of messages he'd probably sent him when he was making out with Shezam.

He typed out a quick message,

[@Jk_moon_1997]
Yeah sorry V, just got busy
with some imp stuffs!

Yes, I'm hereee

Where r u?

He waited for almost 5 minutes but,

"Damn it, still no reply," Jeongguk muttered under his breath, his frustration showing.

He tossed his phone back onto the bed with a sigh and looked at Shezam. "Guess I’ll just wait and see," he said, trying to sound casual but clearly disappointed.

Shezam noticed the change in Jeongguk’s demeanor. "Everything alright?" he asked, voice low and soothing.

Jeongguk nodded, forcing a smile. "Yeah. It’s nothing."

As they lay there, the silence grew, punctuated only by their heavy breathing. Jeongguk’s mind was elsewhere, and the lack of response from V was gnawing at him, overshadowing the satisfaction of their earlier encounter.

Taehyung was sprawled on his couch in the middle of the night, watching a K-drama with a full stomach. The moon cast a soft glow through the window, but he barely noticed. He was deep into the drama, using it as a distraction from Jk’s texts.

"Might as well just ignore him," Taehyung muttered, grabbing another handful of chips. "What does he even think he’s doing, messing with my head like this?"

Just then, a notification pinged from his phone on the coffee table. Taehyung’s heart skipped a beat as he saw the message was from Jk.

"Seriously?" Taehyung grumbled, rolling his eyes. He took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "I’m not gonna let him get to me. He can wait."

He stared at the message for a moment, his finger hovering over the screen. After a long pause, he set the phone aside with a determined sigh, focusing back on his K-drama.

"Whatever. I’ve got better things to do," he said, grabbing another chip and trying to lose himself in the show.

Taehyung was determined to ignore Jk’s messages, so every time his phone pinged, he barely glanced at it. Each ping seemed to echo louder in his silent living room, but Taehyung just kept his focus on the K-drama.

"Ugh, not gonna let this get to me," he muttered, shoving another handful of chips into his mouth.

When the phone buzzed again, he just rolled his eyes and continued watching the drama. "Seriously? Not interested," he said, shaking his head.

Another ping came through, and he made a deliberate effort not to reach for his phone. "He’s not gonna ruin my night. I’m busy," Taehyung said firmly, turning up the volume on the TV and grabbing the remote with a decisive click.

He stayed glued to his show, every ping just a reminder of his resolve to stay focused and not let Jk’s messages break his resolve.

Taehyung jolted awake to the blaring TV. Sunlight streamed through the curtains, hitting him right in the face.

“What the hell?” he groaned, rubbing his eyes. The TV was still blaring some old drama rerun from last night. "Damn, I forgot to turn that off."

He squinted at the clock and cursed loudly. "Shit, I’m gonna be late for work!"

He scrambled out of bed, his movements clumsy as he stumbled over his scattered clothes. "Come on, Taehyung, move it!" he muttered, grabbing his uniform from the floor and tugging it on while still half-asleep.

In the bathroom, he fumbled with his toothbrush, trying to get himself presentable. "Seriously, how does this always happen?" he muttered, toothpaste dribbling down his chin.

Finally, he rushed to the kitchen, throwing together a haphazard breakfast. "Maybe if I just grab this and go…" he said, shoving a piece of toast into his mouth and nearly spilling his coffee. "Perfect start to the day. Just perfect."

Taehyung finally slid into a cab, feeling a rush of relief as he settled into the seat. He quickly shot Erin a text.

Taehyung:- "Hey, on my way. Be there soon."

His eyes flicked to his phone, and he saw a new message from Jk.

Yeah sorry V, just got busy with some imp stuff! Yes, I’m hereee. Where r u?”

He let out a groan, but kept his reply cool.

All good.
Just got caught up in some stuff myself.
I’m on my way.

He hit send and then saw another ping from Jk. He hesitated, but decided to ignore it, shoving his phone into his pocket.

"Whatever," he muttered, trying to push aside the irritation. "Just gotta get through today."

As Taehyung settled into his office, he was determined to stick it to Jk. He smirked, thinking about how he’d let Jk stew a bit.

His phone buzzed a few times, but Taehyung ignored it like a pro. He wasn’t about to let Jk’s messages mess with his workday.

"Yeah, let him sweat a bit," he muttered under his breath. "He’s gonna get a taste of his own medicine."

Every time his phone pinged, he just shot it a glance and kept working, pretending like he didn’t care. "Gotta stay focused," he told himself, even though a part of him was itching to check those messages.

He grinned, feeling a small victory. "Let’s see how he likes this. Karma’s a bitch, right?"

Jeongguk was deep in hospital chaos, dressed in his scrubs—light blue top and pants, stethoscope hanging around his neck like a fashion statement. The fluorescent lights above gave him a headache, and the constant beeping of machines was getting on his nerves. He was elbow-deep in patient charts when his phone buzzed. His heart skipped a beat.

"Finally!" he muttered, glancing at the screen. It was a message from V.

[@Vantae30_u]
Hey, what's up?
Yes I'm here :)

All good.
Just got caught up in some stuff myself.
I’m on my way

Jeongguk’s eyes widened. "Yes! This is it!" he thought, but he couldn’t respond right away. He was in the middle of explaining something to a patient.

As he wrapped up, he said, "Excuse me, I just need a quick break." He darted towards the restroom, trying to look nonchalant. The real reason? He needed to reply to V.

In the restroom, he locked the door and pulled out his phone, typing furiously.

[@Jk_moon_1997]
Hey V!
Just swamped at the hospital.
What’s up with you?  XD

He hit send and stared at the screen, waiting for the reply. Just as he was about to pace, his phone buzzed again. He eagerly checked, but—typical—V had vanished from the chat.

"Seriously?" Jeongguk groaned, smacking his forehead against the door. "I just had to sneak out of a patient’s room for this?"

He waited, tapping his foot impatiently, but the chat stayed eerily quiet. "Guess I’m just the king of bad timing," he grumbled, shoving his phone back into his pocket. As he left the restroom, he sighed, knowing he’d be checking his phone obsessively for the rest of the shift, hoping for a miracle.

Jeongguk's day dragged on like a never-ending sitcom rerun. By 6 PM, he was practically glued to his phone, sneaking peeks under his desk while trying to look focused during meetings.

"C’mon, V, don’t leave me hanging here," he muttered, glaring at his screen. The meeting leader droned on about something irrelevant, but Jeongguk’s mind was on one thing: V’s reply.

He kept checking his phone every few minutes. "Maybe this time," he’d think, only to be met with silence. "Seriously, how many times am I going to check?"

At one point, he caught himself staring at the screen with a mix of hope and desperation. He had to tell himself off, "Dude, stop it. You’re at work. Focus. It’s just a text."

But every time he looked, nothing. The text was still marked as "Seen," and Jeongguk was convinced he was stuck in some cruel cosmic joke. "Ugh, this is ridiculous," he said, rolling his eyes. "Why am I letting this get to me so much?"

As the evening wore on, he realized something: he’d left V on read, then dropped a casual “bye” without a word. He imagined V on the other end, probably thinking, "What a jerk. Who just vanishes like that?"

Jeongguk facepalmed. "Great. Just great. Now V probably thinks I’m a complete asshole. Why can’t I just be normal?"

He sighed, stuffing his phone back into his pocket, and tried to focus on the endless stream of work. But the nagging thought of V’s last message haunted him, making him wonder if he’d ever get a chance to explain himself.

Taehyung had managed to keep his focus all day, dodging the urge to check his phone. The constant pings from JK were a torment, but he held out. Even during lunch with Erin, his mind was on his work. "Yo, Erin, I’m just tryna not lose my mind here," he’d said, shoving a forkful of salad into his mouth.

Erin had just laughed. "You’re seriously obsessed with that phone, huh?"

As soon as he got home, he grabbed a Boba tea and sighed in relief. "Finally, some me-time," he said, stepping out of the cab. He dropped his phone on the charger and headed for a shower, letting the warm water wash away his day’s stress. "Man, this is the life," he hummed, feeling the tension melt away.

He wrapped himself in a towel and, feeling proud of his self-control, changed into his pajamas. "Look at me, all grown up and responsible," he chuckled to himself, settling onto his bed. "Time to see what’s up with JK."

Opening the chat, he saw a message from JK that had him blinking in confusion. "Yo, what’s this?" Taehyung muttered, reading the screen. "You won’t believe what just happened…"

He rubbed his eyes, staring at the phone. "Seriously? What the hell is going on?"

Taehyung’s grin widened as he thought, "Okay, this is gonna be interesting. JK’s up to something wild, and I’m here for it."

(a/n:- what could it be?)
