Chapter Four

"Good morning beautiful.

I know I said I would stop bothering you but I can't.

I'm sorry.

I sighed deeply shutting my locker.

"What's wrong?" Lexi asked.

"I just got another letter." I inform her and hand her the said letter.

Lexi read it carefully and then looked up at me. "Ladies and gentlemen, he is back!" She cheered happily, receiving weird looks from our classmates.

"Minna," She continued bugging me. "We have to find out who he is. He sounds cute." The girl said with a big smile on her face.

Sometimes I really think Lexi wishes for me to get a boyfriend more than I do.

"Why would I?" I rhetorically asked. "It's either a prank or a creep. Either way, I have other things to focus on."

She cuts me off. "Such as? Sejoo?" She asked me teasingly.

"What? Of course not." I replied annoyed.

"Whatever makes you sleep at night." She dropped the subject. "By the way, he is throwing a party next Saturday, are you coming?"

"He is? I don't know yet." I replied honestly. The exams for the first semester were nearing so I really wanted to get into a university I needed to start working harder.

"Come on, it will be fun. I won't try to get you and Sejoo together." She promised doing puppy eyes. "Who knows? Jungkook might be there."

"Who told you I wanted to see him?" I asked her arching one brow.

"Yeah, of course you don't. My bad." She smiled innocently at me.

"By the way, are we still in for tomorrow?" She asked me about our visit to my brother.

"Yeah. I'm also going to talk to Seokjin. I've really missed him. Do you think he can make it?" I asked hoping to see him after almost three months.

"He better or else I'm going to ruin his pretty face." Lexi laughed.

[ . . . ]

"Come on sweetheart, give me the money!" Hoseok said impatiently and mentioned for me to hand him the money I was holding.

For us it was a tradition. Every Friday night we would gather up, spend a few bucks and buy some alcohol. Later on, we would head to a abandoned building, next to our local playground.

Most of us had different classes which means we didn't get the chance to spend as much time together as we would like. Besides, even if we were, it wouldn't be the same because Namjoon wasn't there with us.

"Hey, lunatic," Yoongi smirked at Lexi "If you get drunk again, don't expect to wake up in your bed again. You'll be on the streets instead, got it?"

Lexi purposely ignored him but I couldn't help but laugh. Everyone knew that she went a little too wild when she was drunk.

"Bro, you weren't even the one who helped her." Hoseok complained.

"Yeah, but I was the one who drove you both to her place. If it wasn't for me she could have possibly died."

"Yeah, we'll be waiting for you here." We heard Jimin hung up the phone.

"Who was that?" Hoseok asked him as he put all the money in his wallet.

"Jungkook. He's on his way." Jimin exclaimed happily.

"What? Why?" I instantly got up from the sofa.

Everybody was giving me weird looks whole Hoseok just snorted. Taking in a deep breath I tried to sound calm when saying, "I mean... I thought it would be only the six of us."

"He said he didn't have anything to do so I invited him." Jimin answered concerned. "Is there a problem?"

I turned on my left to get a better look at Lexi only to be met with her disapproving stare. But what was supposed to do?

"No," I hesitated. "There's no problem at all." I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Hoseok," I called him. "Do you need any more money?" I asked him and he chuckled.

"Nope, I'm fine. Just go to the building and me and Jungkook will meet you there." He winked at me.

This annoying idiot.

"Come on, babygirl. Let's go." Jimin grabbed me by my waist and within the next ten minutes we were on our spot.

While Lexi, Yoongi and Namjoon were walking up the stairs, Jimin and I were walking silently until he decided to ask me something.

"What's with you and Kookie?"

"Kookie?" I smirked arching a brow.

"Jungkook. Come on, why do you hate him so much?" He mumbled quietly. I swear this guy loves Jungkook more than his own life.

"What the neck are you talking about? Of course I don't hate him." I answer him crossing my arms.

"It's obvious you didn't want him hanging out with us." He accused me.

"I just don't know him well enough to hang out with him." I out my hands up in surrender in hopes he would believe me.

"Is that so?" He nudged me and I nodded. "Well, he's a great guy. Don't be so quick to make assumptions, princess."

"Yeah, you're right. Let's head upstairs now. Namjoon will probably kill both Yoongi and Lexi." I suggested and Jimin agreed with me.

As we were making our way towards them, we heard Lexi and Yoongi bickering.

"What's wrong, princess? Are you mad at me?" Yoongi laughed loudly.

"Yoongi..." Lexi said quietly as we finally reached them. " You are fucking dead!" The blonde girl screamed, throbbing veins visible on her neck.

"But why? You look so pretty!" He laughed like a maniac while looking at his phone and then turning it to me.

I took it from his grasp and instantly stunned expression filled my face. There was Lexi, anger written in her features and it seemed like she was trying to clutch it from his hold.

Let's be honest; she's looked prettier.

Jimin, unable to control his laughter was shaking on the floor, while poor Namjoon was trying to calm the wild girl down.

"Yoongi, I swear to God, you won't get the chance to have children. I'm going to kick you disgustingly-" Lexi's rant was suddenly cut by someone else's laughter.

Everybody's head turned toward the entrance of the building, only to come face to face with Hoseok and Jungkook.

Jungkook, holding a bag full of beverages, stood there with all his glory and a cute smile on his face. He was wearing a long red t-shirt, black skinny jeans and a plain black beanie on his head.

How can one get even more handsome?

"Hey!" Jungkook laughed and greeted us in a friendly way.

I tilted my head to acknowledge him and he waved at me. Biting the corner of my mouth, I decided to get Hoseok's bag but that's When I noticed another silhouette behind them.

"Jiwoo, get inside!" Hoseok said in a chirpy voice and a beautiful girl I'd ever seen before walked inside.

"Hello everyone." She gave us a toothy smile and we all said our hellos.

"Hi!" I replied in a happy tone and smiled politely at her. "I'm Minna." I extended my hand for her to take but she only have me a zipped smile once again.

Alright then.

"Now that we all got here, let's start drinking!" Namjoon suggested and we all agreed.

We were sitting in a circle on the floor and I had Lexi on my left and Hoseok on my right. Jungkook was ditto g opposite of me, Jiwoo next to him.

During the beginning of our night everything seemed pretty normal. We discussed about random things, drunk some beer and even called Jin who decided to share his jokes with us. We were definitely having a good time but life plays tricks on us. That's what they say, right?

As I got up to get the second bag, I almost tripped. Thankfully, Jimin was fast enough to catch me and save me from embarrassment. Trying not to pay attention to their laughs, I slammed the bag on the floor, in the centre of our smalled circle and grabbed a beer.

Jungkook, noticing how angry I was from my almost fall started laughing at me. "Ah, you're so cute." He stated and continued laughing.

Shifting my weigh from side to side I avoided eye contact with him and instead I took another sip from his beer.

"Yeah, she's really cute!" Jiwoo exclaimed way to excitedly and smiled at me. "Too bad being hot is better that being cute." She said acting all innocent but everyone noticed her insult.

"Well, too bad Minna is both cute and hot." Lexi replied with a smug look.

"Good thing she also has a brain." Yoongi shrugged and high-fived Lexi.

"Of course." Jiwoo agreed without another word.

"Do you want me to go buy some more beers?" Jimin offered and we all nodded our heads except Namjoon.

"Sorry guys, but I have work tomorrow." Namjoon said in a sad tone and got up to leave.

"Yeah, same." Jiwoo said while standing up. " I have, uh, things to do."

"But I want to stay more!" Jimin complained and did puppy eyes.

"We'll stay then." Hoseok said and I agreed with him.

"Jungkook?" Jiwoo turned her head to the brunette boy..

"Um, I'll stay for a little while longer." He said in a low voice.

"Fine." She said angrily. "Goodnight then." She continued but before she left she grabbed him by his collar and gave him a passionate kiss.

After their kiss was over she looked up at Namjoon. " Will you be able to give me a ride?"

"What?" Namjoon asked uncomfortable. "Uh,sure. Goodnight guys!"

Once both of them were gone Hoseok gave Jungkook a breathy laugh. "You sure have a crazy one, bro."

This definitely didn't turn out as I wanted it too but I really wanted to update.

Sorry for late update but the past couple of weeks have been so stressful for me and I don't know how to handle it yet. So yeah, I apologise for that and the crappy chap.🤣
