Summary: Mei's life on Remnant, and the search for Eri.

A/N: Try and play the song through the whole Chapter. It should make the feels hit harder.

A/N: I honestly almost made myself cry writing last chapter and this... It didn't help at all. But I can assure you that this will be the very angsty chapter of this arc, next chapter, some very unexpected heroes are going to save them.

No One P.O.V.

Mei had no idea where she was. The machine went haywire, she got hit. Next thing she knew she was in a empty alley way.

As she made her way around she bumped into someone, and they talked for a little bit.

He offered her a job making stuff when she told him about her hobbies of building machines.

She didn't know what they were planning at first, so she built away, she had somewhat suspected, but their somewhat kind nature and assurances persuaded her to keep going.

She finally found out their deception when she saw the news, she saw an Orphanage get burned down.

That's when she realized they were using her babies to harm others.

So she told them she was no longer working for them. That was when their hospitality ended. And they started abusing her. Hitting her into working for them again. They wouldn't let her leave.

After a few days she felt suicidal, guilt taking over for what she did. They caught onto this and made sure never to leave her alone with any tool she could use to do that. They also made sure to neverhurt beat her to death.

Just enough to break her. Enough to get her to work again.

But eventually she was able to sneak a Screwdriver with her and was about to stab herself, when someone was thrown in with her.

Guy: You have a Cellmate. Now get in and SHUT UP!

???: *Crying* I WANT MY DADDY AND MOMMY!!!

She heard the voice, it couldn't be, could it? She looked at the kid and almost gasped, she was all too familiar.

Mei: Eri?

Eri looked at Mei.

Eri: *Sobbing* A-Aunty M-Mei?

Day 1: Nothing.

They looked eveywhere, shaking down every single lead they could get. Only to get disappointed that they found zip.

Day 2: Nothing Again.

They searched even more. But they had even worse luck then yesterday. No leads, not even a single name to go by.

Day 3: Miss You.

Izuku, and his girlfriends looked at pictures of Eri, tears coming out. All of them promising to stop at nothing until they find her.

That very night Eri and Mei were snuggling while crying, as Eri looked out the window, hoping that they'll find her.

Day 5: Frantics.

They were getting extremely agitated. No leads, not even a clue. Ozpin sent out Huntsman and Huntresses to aid the search. But it didn't help the tention.

Day 7: The Fight.

The Tention got so bad, a fight broke out between the Poly Group. It started between Izuku and Ochaco, blaming each other for what happened and the others tried to step in.

That was when it went South. Everyone started blaming each other. Even Yang and Ruby, and Coco and Velvet.

Velvet suprisingly held her ground for a while, until she got too worked up and cried. Eventually they all broke down crying.

No one wanted to really cuddle on account for being angry, but didn't want to be alone either. So the set a massive blanket on the floor and snuggled very closely.

Day 8: The Promise.

They woke up and apologized for the fight each deciding that they all had a part involved and there were more important things than finding out who was responsible.

They searched even more. This time they had better luck they had a name. And a possible location. They interrogated Junior who told them the name of the person they were looking for.

All that mattered was looking.

Day 12: Never Give Up.

The never gave up, they will continue looking even if it damages them.

That very night Mei snuck some biscuits and Water for Eri. And she ate and drank while Mei kept look out.

A/N: Next Chspter some very Unexpected Heroes will save the day.
