So last week on Wednesday and Thursday the varsity cross country team went to Arlington, TX for a meet.

Now normally, I would keep this brief, but oh my gosh.

It was so much fun! So the bus ride going to Arlington wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, now the ride back, that's a different story. But not for now.

Anyways, during the first 3-4 hours, everyone was asleep except my friend and I, who decided to take a few selfies.

I'm only showing y'all one cuz some of them involved several photo bombers.

I'm the one actually holding the phone. My friend is next to me.

We had fun, watching Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, for like the umpteenth time that day and ate pizza during the ride.

Now after the ride once we got to the hotel we were getting ready for practice. A supposedly light workout.

But instead the coaches decided to change their minds and live a little and take us to the mall, which at the time I didn't know was the same mall my family and I went to during a trip.

Continuing on, one of my guy friends tagged along with us (My friend and I.) We kinda became the Golden Trio, (sorry not sorry).

We took pictures in a photo booth, went to different stores, which almost made me want to vlog the experience, but then realized I'm short and my arms are not long enough to get my friend's faces if I wanted to.

Near the end of the trip to the mall, we kinda forgot where we came through, and we were supposed to head back to the bus 🚌 around 6:30 and literally didn't find it until 6:28. Coach was somewhat proud.

Afterward we went to eat at Taco Bueno, which is not a good place to eat if you have a meet the next morning. We all found out the hard way.

We also went swimming at around 9-ish, in which all the guys were wussies and couldn't jump in the water, whereas the girls, whom the guys forced to come, jumped in. Several times I was victim to my guy friend tossing me into the water, without warning.

Nevertheless it was a fun experience, the meet was eh. It consisted of me trying not to fall in a ditch during the 3 miles, and not get distracted by the beauty of the woods as the rising sun shined through the leaves and left a iridescent light across the dirt.

Wow, that was almost poetic. Not.

It was overall a nice experience, especially due to the fact I didn't have to share my covers with my sister, because she was stuck at home working.

TAKE THAT CARO!

The trip back made me want to punch people, because all I wanted to do was sleep, but no, the guys, being ever so mature, decided to prank anyone who fell victim to sleep. So I, along with other females on that bus, were cranky and not fun until near the end where everyone began to jam out and sing along to music.

Oh and I was able to get my friend with the filters from snapchat lmao. 😂😂

So maybe you guys might be seeing a new story up soon? Or a another Jason Todd one-shot, it depends on my mood and my playlist....I swear sometimes it loves me and other times it just full on hates me.
