It was afternoon. The sky outside was graced with floating clouds. The sky canvas was painted with shades of colours. People were walking through the busy streets.

Jungkook sighed in relief as he finished placing the last box to it's place.
He plopped down on the couch after all the heavy work.
He was shifting today and he just finished all the works.

Just as he closed his eyes, his phone vibrated with a text. He unlocked his phone and saw that it was from Sooyun.
She texted him saying that she was coming.

She had helped him much today. She went to her house to do some work.

Jungkook replied her with an ok before locking his phone. He thought that he could get some rest before she came.

Jungkook sat up from his couch and went to the door as his door bell rang.

He opened the door revealing his best friend.

"Hey! So have you finished all the works?" Sooyun asked as she entered the house.

"Yeah I did. Heck it was tiring" Jungkook said as he closed the door.

"I helped you pabo" Sooyun said .

"But you went home after a while then I had to do all the works alone." Jungkook said with a pout.

"Yeah yeah okay for now let's go to the cafe nearby. My treat." Sooyun said with a smile.

"I'm tired anyways so let's go get some coffee then." Jungkook replied.

Jungkook and Sooyun entered the cafe. It was still afternoon so there wasn't a lot of people there.

"I'll go place the order you go and find a seat for us Kook." Sooyun said to the boy beside him and Jungkook nodded at her.

Jungkook was about to sit down but he froze when he saw someone.

God why do you do this to me everytime....out of all the people on earth why do I have to meet him!
Jungkook mentally cried as he saw Taehyung.

But what shocked him more that Taehyung came to him with a smirk and wrapped his arms around his waist.

"Babe you're late..." Taehyung said as he kissed Jungkook's cheek.

Bish...WHAT!

That's it. Jungkook thought that his soul left his body. He practically stiffened like a rock. He was more than confused to what was happening.

He suddenly noticed that there were two girls behind Taehyung.
He tried to remember where he saw them and he recognised the girls.

They were Irene and Joy

They studied at the same school Jungkook and Taehyung were in.

And Irene is crazy about Taehyung. She has dated almost half of the population of their school and her next target is Taehyung. But Taehyung rejected her every offer.

"Irene as you see I have a cute boyfriend so I'm sorry but we can't be together." Taehyung said with a smirk.

B-boyfriend....?

Jungkook was still shook as fuck so he couldn't even speak
anything.

Suddenly it struck him.

Ok so Irene is again nagging him to date her so to escape from her Taehyung is acting like I am his boyfriend?
Jungkook thought.

"But Taehyung please give me a chance I am much better than this guy!" Irene looked at Jungkook disgustingly as she spoke.

Jungkook narrowed his eyes at her.

Excuse me bitch no one stares at Jeon Jungkook that way

"You see we have a date here and you're more than disturbing us so it would be great if you leave us. By the way the exit is that way." Jungkook smirked as he leaned into Taehyung more making the girl  irritated than before.

Irene gave them a last death glare before stomping out of the cafe angrily with her friend Joy following her with a sigh.

As she was out of the sight, Jungkook turned to Taehyung with a you-owe-me-an-explanation face.

"Look I am sorry that I had to drag you in this but this was the only thing that came to my mind when I saw you entering the cafe." Taehyung said to the younger.

"It's okay...." Jungkook said nervously as he tried hard not to blush by the fact that Taehyung kissed his cheek and not to mention the word 'boyfriend'

"By the way why did you help me? Like you could've said that there's nothing between us and walked away but no you played along. And did you like that I kissed your cheek ?" Taehyung said with a obvious smirk on his face.

What?!

Nope absolutely not! He played along because he knew that she was a bitch and decided to help out like the good person he was.
And also because she was glaring at him like that.

He was not at all jealous by the fact that someone was trying to be Taehyung's girlfriend.

no NOT at all.....

And for the cheek kissing part..he doesn't even know why he blushed like that...

"I helped you because I am a good person and that bitch was getting on my nerves. And no I didn't like the kiss at all." Jungkook spoke dryly at him.

Taehyung looked at him with a poker face.

"Well you see Jungkook...I need your help. Please act like my boyfriend when she is around. Please help me or else she won't stop bothering me." Taehyung said.

"But why should I help you? What will I get in return?" Jungkook said smirking.

"Just help me I'll do whatever you want!" Taehyung said not really thinking much about it.

Whatever I want..?

Um...interesting

"Ok then deal." Jungkook said.

"Ehem guys...." A voice spoke up.

They both looked across them only to find Sooyun standing there with her arms crossed.

Oh shit I completely forgot that I was here with Sooyun.

"Tell me what all happened here." Sooyun said.

After explaining all the drama to her, the three of them parted their ways.

Sooyun waved them good bye and walked away.

Jungkook was walking to his new home when he noticed that Taehyung was also walking in the same direction as him.

"Why are you following me?" Jungkook eyed Taehyung as he spoke.

"Don't give yourself so much importance. My home is that way." Taehyung replied to him.

Jungkook rolled his eyes and walked faster leaving behind Taehyung.

After a while, Jungkook reached his apartment and was about to unlock the door when he noticed someone was standing in front of the door of the apartment next to him.

He looked over there only to meet Taehyung's wide eyes looking at him.

They looked at each other in disbelief.

"NO WAY YOU ARE MY FUCKING NEIGHBOUR!!" They both said or more like shouted in unison.
