🌌✨2✨🌌
You were currently asleep in the bed of a hotel room that had been rented out by Dante. You were helping the male out on a mission to find a monster that's been terrorizing the city you've shown up to for the past few months. But that wasn't important at the current moment as you were having what you'd consider a strange dream. It was as if you were in third person and you were in a village, it was almost like you went super far back in time, as your eyes landed on a familiar looking yet definitely a lot younger version of Dante. Just then, you heard a voice...it was ethereal and gentle as it narrated what seemed like the story of Dante from the very beginning to you as it said...
"In a world where the realms of Heaven, Hell, and Earth coexist in a delicate balance, Dante, a half-human, half-demonic dragon, lived a life sequestered from the troubles of the spiritual realms. His father was an ancient demonic dragon from the darkest pits of Hell, while his mother was a mortal woman, a fearless and compassionate warrior who had somehow managed to win the dragon's heart. The union was forbidden, but the two, driven by love, found a way.
Their love resulted in Dante, a creature of both realms, bound by neither. He inherited his father's formidable strength, unfathomable magic, and scales harder than diamond, and from his mother, he inherited her humanity, compassion, and an unwavering spirit. Dante lived amidst humans, choosing the mortal realm to avoid the politics and power struggles of the celestial and infernal domains. However, he had to constantly hide his true identity, facing prejudice from both humans and supernatural beings.
Dante found solace in the arms of a beautiful human woman named Isabella. They had two children, twins named Lucia and Marcus. Isabella knew Dante's true nature and loved him nonetheless. The family lived a peaceful life, tucked away in a remote village, far from the prying eyes of Heaven and Hell.
However, their idyllic life was short-lived. Word of Dante's existence, and the existence of his half-human, quarter-demonic dragon children, reached the divine council of Heaven and the demonic assembly of Hell. Both realms, fearing the potential power of such a lineage, deemed it as a threat to the balance they had maintained for millennia. In a rare consensus, the two opposing forces decided to intervene.
A heavenly host descended upon Dante's home, demanding the surrender of his children to the divine realm. At the same time, a hellish horde emerged, intent on dragging the children to the depths of Hell. Dante, unwilling to abandon his children to either fate, fought with a ferocity born of desperation and love.
But the combined might of Heaven and Hell was too strong. In the ensuing battle, Dante's world crumbled around him. Isabella, caught in the crossfire, sacrificed herself to save their children. However, the divine and demonic forces took away Lucia and Marcus, distributing them between the realms as hostages to ensure Dante's compliance.
Broken and alone, Dante was left with nothing but the ashes of his past life. But within him, a spark was ignited. A spark of vengeance, a spark of rebellion. He swore to defy the celestial and infernal powers and reclaim his children.
Since that fateful night, Dante roams the three realms, struggling against the rigid rules of Heaven and Hell, and the prejudice of Earth. He fights not just for his children, but for the right of creatures like him to exist, to love, and to live free from the fear of divine and demonic retribution. His journey is a testament to the power of love and the lengths a father would go to protect his children."
As the narration came to an end it seemed like you had jumped forward to a point where there was nothing but destruction around you and a now adult Dante was holding two dead but older children in his arms surrounded by angels, Arch-angels, demons and Arch-demons. But they were all taking steps back away from Dante as his face was contorted with violent expressions of anger, rage, sadness, regret and last but not least vengeance. He soon turned and looked at you, making you fall back onto your rear out of surprise and fear before he let out a roar so loud, it vibrated your very soul...no... your very being along with everything and everyone there. The last thing you saw was something that would never leave your mind as long as you were alive...
After that you abruptly shot up looking around to see Dante entering the room after going to grab a drink. "You have a nightmare or something?" He asked with a familiar monotone voice.
