Chapter 2 - The Evil Force (Willowsong)
I ran through the quiet forest. Padding softly, trying not to be heard. I kept my ears pricked to hear every little thing in the forest. I lifted my head and sniffed the late summer breeze for any scents of prey.
I heard a rustle in the undergrowth and caught on to the scent of an animal. It was another wolf, but it had the scent of a pack I had never smelled before. I ran swiftly down into the undergrowth and behind a bush. There were two wolves little ways in front of my hiding spot. One was a grayish blue she-wolf with yellow eyes and the other was a brown male wolf, bigger than the she-wolf next to him. Their fur was matted and dirty and they had multiple scars all over. They were looking around, behind trees and yelling at each other. "BLUE FUR!" Yelled the male wolf from behind a tree.
"What do you want Mud Fur?" Snarled the she-wolf.
"This land smells like another wolf pack's territory." Said the male wolf smirking and looking over his shoulder. I shifted and ran away into the undergrowth.
When I got back to the camp I could not help but feel uneasy. So I went to the Omega's den, curled up in my soft moss bed and fell asleep.

I awoke about at Moon's Peak, with the stars shining brightly in the clear night sky. I looked around the camp. It was peaceful. All I could hear was breathing, and quiet mumbles around the camp. Then I heard a rustle from outside the enclosed dens. I felt like I was being watched.
Then suddenly massive wolves broke from the undergrowth, and into the camp. I howled in surprise. At once the warriors awoke, ran from their dens, and started slashing at the intruders. These wolves smelled like the wolves I saw earlier.
I growled and tackled a smaller but still strong warrior. Most of the intruders ran away like scaredy cats except the wolf under my paws.
I looked down at the wolf. "Hello, Willowsong." It said.
How does he know my name? I thought to myself. I looked into his eyes. His eyes didn't look normal. His eyes had a reddish glow to them and a faint yellow circle around the pupil.
"Yes, I know your name Willowsong. This is a message from Demon Tail, the Dark Clan Alpha." Said the wolf under his control. "I know what power you have and I know you don't know what it is and how to use it." He said. "I can teach you how to use it Willowsong. Just join me." He said breaking an evil smile. "I will come back, don't think I won't." It said then the wolf snapped back to his self.
The wolf yelped. I let the wolf go. He ran quickly into the undergrowth without a look back. I looked over my shoulder when I saw the other wolves walk quickly to our Alpha. I stumbled over to Burn Heart lying on the ground. "Willowsong." He said in a raspy voice.
"Burn Heart." I said then started crying.
"Willowsong, you need to know t-this." He said then coughed out blood. "I knew your mother. She was my sister." He said.
"W-what do you mean? My mother is Rain Leaf!" I said. I was stunned. I couldn't move where I stood.
"No your mother is n-not Rain Leaf. You were just a pup. Your mother was A-Angel Rose she was taken when you were born, and so was your father." He said then spat out more blood.
"Wh-what?" I stammered then stepped back.
"A Falcon wolf named Owl Rock, a former Warrior in my pack, triggered her powers, and saved you." He said.
"I. Wh-what. You." I stammered. Blood ran down to the dirty ground from the wound on his neck.
"I." He started. "Am your uncle." He finished. Then his belly stopped moving and his eyes went dull. I cried. I touched my muzzle on his forehead and stumbled away, my gaze blurry. I went slowly into the Omega's den a laid down on my leafy bed, tears streamed down my face. I put my head down on my paws and listened to the stream that ran through the den, still crying. After I could cry no more, my eyes felt droopy and I drifted into sleep.
I was walking through an unfamiliar forest. A river crashed on rocks close by. As I walked in this world I started smelling a familiar scent, a warm scent. I followed the scent to a cliff over the crashing sea. I recognized the scent now, it was clear as crystal. The scent was Burn Heart. A calm voice rang in my head. "Willowsong." It said.
"Burn Heart!" I yelled as the wind in the dream picked up. I looked to the side of me. Blue glowing sand started whirling around and forming a figure. "Wh-what? B-but you're dead." I said shocked.
"I am, but I'm here in your dream. I am a spirit." Burn Heart said. "I've come here to tell you this." He began. His eyes went white and cold. "You are destined to meet her, fates can be changed, evil lurks in the shadows." He said then he came back to his self. "I have to go." He said.
"NO! Don't go!" I yelped. But the blue sand came and he faded away into the sky.
I snapped out of sleep. His words still ringing in my head. "You are destined to meet her, fates can be changed, evil lurks in the shadows." What did it mean? Too tired to think about it, I laid my head down and fell back asleep, into a deeper sleep without any dreams.
***
When I woke up the next morning me and some warriors including the Beta, Pure Song, buried Burn Heart's body as the sun rose above the peaks. I left a red rose on his grave, then left with the other warriors. Burn Heart's words rang in my head You are destined to meet her, fates can be changed, evil lurks in the shadows.
Who is 'her,' what fates can be changed, and what evil? I thought to myself, puzzled. I didn't know what these words meant but I knew this was the future and this "her" was real.
